Yea....it wasn't gonna budge.   Huh   Got rid of what I needed too, but could sure use a bootstrap. The chain is ~2.5 yrs. old. It'll take forever.  Angry

Thanks!

Here is: QRK blockchain.

Edit. Recompressed to 7z for smaller archive size.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Core 0.9.2.6 on: January 12, 2016, 10:47:28 PM
Having problems getting wallet to sync. Running core 0.9.2.6 but it is stuck on block 2578676. Who has a working config file? I show 8 active connections and it has been running over 24 hrs now and has not moved. Help!!

Thanks

Try to restart your wallet. If not help you will need delete all files (except wallet.dat) in quarkcoin directory and redownload the blockchain from the beginning. I will post a link to the latest blockchain snapshot later.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best BTC casinos? on: January 07, 2016, 11:14:28 PM
My favorite is FortuneJack because of the large collection of interesting games, instant withdrawal methods, diverse gambling portfolio, highest quality live casino, biggest jackpots.
868  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: January 07, 2016, 10:56:37 PM
We have since fixed this issue. You should be able to complete your purchase now!
Thanks for the patience.

Thank you very much. Just checked, looks like everything works fine now (the "Pay" button is visible). I am going to try this great service soon.
869  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Gambling Site to Invest In on: January 07, 2016, 10:39:47 PM
Guys, what you think about invest in SafeDice?

Not bad choice. SafeDice house edge is not fixed: it varies depending on how much player bet, and what the win could be, it increases the safety of all investments by increasing the house edge in instances where players want to win more than 0.25% of the house bankroll. Investors may also use an adjustable risk level to reduce counterparty risk with the site. SafeDice fee is 10% of profit.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: January 07, 2016, 07:22:02 PM
Before starting a game of dice game, it is important to choose the stake amount. The reason of this is that your winnings will vary according to the stake. The higher it is, and the bigger the winnings will be. To conclude, you have to play Big.  Cheesy

LTC:      https://btcpool.exchange/Market?pair=FST/LTC;

As I mentioned before, you'll need to revert to v.8.7.2 until the release of 0.10.4 which will be released later next week.

Sorry, I miss this. Thank you.

I think we need to find a new exchange. Any proposal?
What are you thinking about Yobit.net? To add FST to Yobit.net in 2 business day will cost 0.1 btc (free - no guarantee).

874  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats your strategy on parlay? on: January 06, 2016, 08:45:43 PM
Bet favorite + over, dog + under, try to get ~3:1 odds+. 1 unit = 1% of Bankroll, ex. $1,000 bankroll, you are betting $10 per correlated parlay. Been using this for a long time and doing very well. Don't ever bet more then 3 games on a parlay if you want to pick a bunch of money lines.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: January 05, 2016, 03:30:12 PM
A crucial part of recovery after losing - is acceptance of your addiction, of your losses, of your own strengths and weaknesses. In particular, if you can't let go of your losses, you will never be free of the urge to get them back and you will come back to gamble.
876  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: January 05, 2016, 11:06:07 AM
I just wanted to report that you have some kind of bug or something .
when you are logged and you see the rates and when are not logged (on the mainPage) and you see the rates , they are not the same as you can see here :
https://i.imgur.com/KzWlRt9.png
https://i.imgur.com/gkyvoDM.png
Comparing by other websites (like preev.com) , I'd say that the correct rates are the one when you see when you log-off . (430$ at the moment) .

This was clarified many times in this topic and the explanation was added to FAQ in the E-coin Help Center -> Fees & Limits section:

Hello,
We have this being covered in our Help article, and any support representative will inform you these are two different rates (on the main page and inside the account). We are not hiding any fees or lying to our clients.

This is because these are two different rates:
  • Buy rate - the rate you see on our main Home page. This is the rate you can purchase bitcoins with (to be available very soon).
  • Sell rate - the rate you see once logged in to the account. This is the rate you can sell your bitcoins with (i.e. load your card with USD, EUR, or GBR).
877  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: January 04, 2016, 07:14:36 PM
umm.. after login into the Xapo account, we can buy some BTC from USD right?
the method is from the bank account / it also can be from paypal or google wallet or other online service?

Right. There are different methods to pay for the bitcoin depending on your location and some other factors. It is personalized to each user and certain factors involved, so only specific payment options are shown for each purchase order.
878  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: January 04, 2016, 06:36:03 PM
Are you able to log in to your Xapo account in the pop up and select the wallet you wish to pay for? Also, I'm assuming you have enough funds to pay for the purchase too correct? I've notified our team to look into this for you.

Yes, I'm able to log in to my Xapo account in the pop up and I have enough funds to pay for the purchase. It seems that the pop up is too low and does not fit on the screen and I can't see the "Pay" button (tried on different browsers and different screen resolutions). Everything works fine for other digital goods in the "Xapo world".
879  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has bitcoin had success in China? on: January 02, 2016, 11:16:02 PM
Bitcoin gives an opportunity for people to move money out of China and transact with international merchants or customers. As for now, it is clear that "bitcoin fever" is not over and it is interesting to see its' development in China.
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: January 01, 2016, 09:20:28 PM
me too, sometimes when i get big profit. i won't stopped and still playing until i lose all. greedy is a big trouble in gambling, i don't know how to handle to not being greedy

Money management must be practiced at all times. A lot of gamblers practice good money management until they get ahead. That is when greed takes over, after people get ahead. Greed pushes them to try to win huge amounts. Greed replaces good money management and causes the player to make dumb bets.
