In trading how do you know if it is time to still hold or is it the right time to sell? Do you go buy your profit margin or actually wait for the highest possible peak?
For example if you're earning like 10% of your investment, would you just sell or would you be interested in waiting and seeing if it goes more up so you could earn more, in doing that its possible that it may go down and you then earn like 5-8%
But what is your process in this? How do you go about hold and sell timings?
Just hold on for now! There is no possible way that Bitcoin can crash anytime soon. The only way I can see fit is if it gets overtaken by another cryptocurrency, such as etheruem. But I doubt this. Bitcoin at this stage I not would consider it as a trading platform, but rather an investment. People want Bitcoin, and we can see this from its ever increasing popularity. It would be dumb to sell now and loose the possible profits. We can also see that bitcoin is going to stay here for a long time as a huge array of companies have heavily invested in it. One of these is Amazon. If they though bitcoin was not going to sustain itself, they would not accept it as a payment form today. Bitcoin is essentially a much more convenient form of payment that people in the 21st century would want - it'll stick around for a long time. Amazon doesn't except bitcoin for payment as far as I know. Please prove me otherwise. |

Komodo is turning into a monster  I totally agree, and yet I feel few even know about it. The reddit forum for instance is kind of quiet. I just watched the recent presentations and are so excited about this platform. Do you think this KMD will be a second ETH platform after next 6 months? ETH has been rising up from 2$ to 50$ in nearly 1,5 years and now it's at the price of 280$ . I think KMD will become true in next year. I will keep 4000KMD for at least 1 year for getting a good interest. Actually KMD seems to offer much more than ETH, and it along with supernet could be crypto market protocol layer. It's potential is amazing. Still they are still in rapid development phase, but if they pull it off I would expect a very substantial value. They are true visionaries and have a deep understanding of crypto. Yes I would HODL. |

Holding altcoins for long term is very risky as you never know when its price will crash so the best way to play with altcoins is to sell them when its giving you good profits but when it comes to bitcoins then I prefer to hold it for a long term as price will surely go higher in future.
That depends on the quality of the alt-coins. If you are talking about shitcoins then I agree, but their are a lot of quality alt coins that could go up many times higher than btc in a shorter time frame. Well to find out the bets alt coin is the difficult task other than ETH. You need to diversify whenever you are investing in alt coin. Only project which have good management team, who spends on campaigns, make payment on time, have some good features about coin should be ideal ones you can look to invest in it. Actually ETH is one the altcoins I sold. It went too high too fast and lots of ICO ETH will unlock that can be dumped. |

Yes, because this a coin many want which is why it is up an impressive 30% in the last week while most other coins are down 30%. Antshares is essentially ETH for China, since China always like to support it's home grown products it has a great future. It is hard to predict the next few months, but a couple years out this coin could be worth hundreds. Plus you can earn ANC/NEO just by holding it - essentially 10% free interest. |

I dont have to keep the ANT Wallet open to receive AntCoins right? So lets say i wont open the wallet for a month, I still can claim all coins i got from that month right?
Entirely correct. It is all about ownership of ANS/NEO, not the actual running of the wallet. Only those who leave their ANS/NEO at Bittrex will lose out as then Bittrex claims it as its own. Of course those who have 10,000+ ANS/NEO and decide to set up a bookkeeping node can earn network fees on top of that, but in that last instance, the node should be kept running. A bookkeeping mode with 10,000 Ans. Do you know where I can find more about this? |
