divs tomorrow

We are complaining about newbies that post relevant, structured, funded information.
However, when a Hero member posts two words without any further information, nobody complains :-)

What does it mean to be a Hero member other than that person has the gift of gab?  The quality of the post doesn't derive itself from the user status and keep in mind that these member accounts are bought, sold and traded.

I would like to continue but have not received any payment, though others have apparently?

People who signed up before you have received payment...there's a list on the first page.

I would say the month ends today so you should see it soon.

I`m waiting for a refund for over 140 days
I had a real problem as my father needed a kidney transplant and asked for a refund on 30.04
Call them , explained them my problem , send them medical leather with the translation of my sister diagnostics and medical problem  (the whole family has health issue ) .
They did not refund me , is the same answer over and over again .
I`ve sent email requesting assistance to over 15 Swedish lawyer with no response .

This is the worst company I`ve ever encountered in EU.
I had enough .

Hey, I just stopped back by on the KnC forum and saw that things have not got any better with the refunds.  This worked for me, but ymmv.  File a complaint form with ARN.  On their website, they have forms for english also.  Now I did receive email from them in swedish and had to translate it, but otherwise everything worked fine.  I just filled out the form, attached my invoice and copies of emails from KnC.  KnC waited until it was time for ARN to have a hearing and then refunded my money.  Good luck on your refund.

Perhaps you are referring to ARN Magnusson the Knight Templar?  I don't think he's been around since the 12th century...
Care to share a link to ARN? It would be greatly appreciated.
ARN is also Arlanda Airport in Stockholm... still searching

Underbart!!  Here it is - http://www.arn.se/

I looked at this pool too.  But at 60 Th/s the likely hood of hitting another block is pretty slim.  I mean hitting the one on 9/11 was miracle really.

On average it should take 25 days to find a block with current difficulty.  I wouldn't call it slim but at the same time, I don't like variability all that much so I prefer to pick a larger pool and go with the 1 coin per day.  In the long run, it should all work out the same but mmpool gives the block transaction fees as a reward to the finder.

Has anyone received their bonus Neptune yet, or had notification of shipping... or heard any news?

I keep banging on about it, but as a CA batch (batch 0) customer, I had expected to get my bonus Neptune last month.

Batch 3 is still up for sale on their site.  Not good news for people waiting for the bonus miner or a refund.

I bought some Cabot Habanero cheese in Vermont and it was awesome!  Found some recently at the Hannaford's in Watertown, NY - I'm lovin' it Wink

how can we order ? only from that semi english/chinese site ?

are you in the usa? there is a usa seller or two.

Ma indoiesc ca este in Statele Unite.  Cred ca locuieste in Romania pentru ca este in legatura cu Forumul Bitcoin-Romania.
8629  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner Tube Sales Information Thread [Round3, Price at <1btc per TH/s] on: September 14, 2014, 11:59:39 PM
Is shipping from Europe,USA or from China?

CN

NO way buying from China. My customs will rape me. They need to open store in UK.

OR you could move to the USA.  You might save enough taxes to buy a nice little house there too depending on the number of tubes you order.
8630  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner Tube Sales Information Thread [Round3, Price at <1btc per TH/s] on: September 12, 2014, 11:53:51 AM
This is probably the wrong thread, but I can't find the right one.

I found someone advertising this thread in a non-visible section of their signature:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778953.msg8783030#msg8783030

And? Seems like there should be a second half to your post.

I think AM / friedcat / the signature sales manager (can't find the AM sig thread) should be notified, in case the signature rules have been violated and that particular user should not be paid.

*edit* found it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=739269.0 and sunxiaoxiao should know about the sig thing.

I'm sure they are watching for such violations as  I am not being paid because I altered my sig.

can you post a picture with packaging of assembled miners?
are they safe to throw?
do they have thermal pads attached?
what is fan position and where are ivory washers placed?

i am wandering should i order assembled or not Smiley

I put two of them together.  It wasn't hard.
Thermal pads are not attached, they come in sheets - 4 sheets per miner.  You lay the sheet onto the heatsink  then place the board on top and screw it down.  It's as easy as making a sandwich.
Washers are to raise the fan shield so it doesn't contact the blades of the fan.

Not sure what you mean by "safe to throw" but I would think that would be safer than trying to catch one.

After 3 days I will get around 50 fibre coin (1fibrecoin=0.0002btc on cex.io) I will exchange it and I will pay you ,so if I will loose also than also no problem for you.thanks.

This makes no sense. Why would you even bother paying anything back when you can just abandon that account and create a new one at no cost?
I didn't get what you are trying to say.so can you pls explain. Thanku

I will explain it to you for 50 fibrecoins.

Ha, really, FC effectively holding the BTC hostage so we can't cash them out prematurely really is a stretch Cheesy It's a joke of course, still a funny thought! People who are weak anyways, are going to sell their shares and lose even more Cheesy

For the sake of all that is profane!  Investing is not about strength or balls or masculinity!!
Many weak and yes even weak-minded people have invested profitably and many of the world's strongest and brightest have lost more than you can fathom in markets.  GIVE IT A REST!

MMpool.org. Did it used to be called Bitparking?

do not know but ghash went down so i joined it today.

i just wish the controller had two lines and allowed auto switching

Why would you join ghash because it went down?
I wish I had known about the controller issue before I purchased.
Ghash.io sucks and we're forced there.  Come on friedcat!! Fix the controller!

Sorry I'm off topic.  Needed to rant ;(
I think he saying he joined mmpool because ghash went down

My apologies.  I guess it's time I learned to read!  Thanks for the schooling Wink

Just read the newsletter in my email.  Was the Arctic cloud hosting a joke?  It's nowhere close to April Fool's.  You can buy so much more BTC than what those hosting plans will ever buy at current rates.

A massive joke, indeed!

But have a look around. All of the other legitimate cloudmining operations are way overpriced too.

Lucky for them, they don't really need to sell contracts because they'll just mine for themselves. Unlucky for us, we'll never get an opportunity to continue mining once we shut down our @home rigs. Cloudmining will never make sense for people who are capable of basic math.

On a side note, my PBMining contracts that I started in the spring actually have a positive ROI now. Smiley
Although I don't see that happening for newcomers now.

On another side note, I lost 4.4BTC on the Lunamine scam. And I lost a considerable amount on CEX.io too. So I'm batting .333 on cloud mining ventures.

I mourn the days of lucrative mining hardware already. This sucks!

There is lucrative mining hardware but there is no one willing to sell it to you at normal profit margins IMHO.  The Neptune pre-order was sold to returning customers for 10k USD and to new customers for 13k USD at the same time.  I've been looking at intel CPUs and even the latest-greatest-bleeding-edge chip goes for ~1k USD.  If you also take a look at Asicminer, they were selling 10 pack u-build miners for 10.4 BTC and then two weeks later for 7.9 BTC but those chips were a done deal in June.  It seems that people are getting wiser and not coughing up the money for inflated-price miners.  Hopefully the same holds true for the Artic Cloud - we took your chips and said we ran out, oh yeah and your refund money too p.s. thanks for the loaner you silly fools - hashing project.

So I saw there was a guy who was removed from the campaign, does that mean there's another slot open, or has it already been filled?

Actually there were two removed.  Those spots are filled.

ASICMINERTUBE

Does anyone think the faded 'E' in the logo might signify weakness and could aslo be read as ASICMINER TUB in some light conditions, which is not very appealing!

Here's a simple suggestion, strong, bold, hot, and more consistent with other branding:

ASICMINERTUBE

ps this 'meta' post needn't add to my post count

Yellow symbolizes optimism, clarity and warmth but it does seem a little odd fading from red to yellow.  What if TUBE faded in from yellow to red?
8640  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 31, 2014, 03:07:22 PM
From the tube sales thread:

Price adjusted to 7.9 btc per set.

Round 1 purchasers get a coupon of 0.05 btc per device. (0.5 btc per set, 0.0125 btc per hashing unit)

Round 2 purchasers bought at the price before price adjustment get refunds of the price difference, preferrably to the payment source address.

All coupons and refunds happen only between our direct purchasers and us.

Very generous to the customers. But I am afraid this means less income for the shareholders.

Fostering customer relations though. Which other company gives refunds they don't have to give?!

The reason they are giving refunds is because there was a delay in the shipment of the first batch due to a technical error and the promised shipping dates were missed.  FC is showing integrity and gaining trust and respect in the process.  Would you prefer, he take the path of BFL, KNC and others.  He needed to give refunds.  He did the right thing.

Yes, agreed absolutely. I did not intend to criticise that move at all.

But the reason you are stating is not correct. Just a few shipments of round 1 were delayed.
And if your reasoning was correct, there would not be any refund for round 2 customers. Wink

Actually, the round two price was adjusted downward after the round began.  The refunds for round 2 customers only apply to those who purchased before the price adjustment.  So there are two different reasons and two different values for the refunds.
