Hiding in my room now, locked door, loud music playing and trying to find something to do to keep me occupied until it all ends, probably going to start working on an animation of some sort now, must sneak out to make sure they can't hear me so I can get food.

lol I just found out they offer up the source code, that's exactly what I was looking for awesome!
I know what you mean but it's just one of those things where I feel better if it's all under my control, I'm a bit paranoid I guess when it comes to that you have sites that are talking about perfectly normal things to us which get taken down because some pressure group screams a lot etc. or if people talk about torrents.

hmmm >_< I wanted one I could put on my own website that couldn't be taken down without my permission, I do like the IRC Freenode, but I just wish I could host it myself.

I'm on a quest right now to find a nice, simple chat room that I can upload to my site but there's a problem with that because almost all the chat room solutions I've come across are filled with bloat ware or they spew logos all over them or make you install unnecessary plugins etc. to get them working. Is there any place I might have missed that's really obvious which would have something like that? I just want something simple to upload to my site so that users can chat to each other I did find a script that did the basic thing of what I wanted but the window is small and I don't have any idea of how to code an ignore list onto it because I hate programming. http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/javascript-ajax/how-to-create-a-simple-web-based-chat-application/There must be something out there that I've missed that's really obvious but I've tried looking for awhile now :p

He could be just an admin or scientist that has his hands on a supercomputer and is using it overnight without anyone in the building noticing lol

That letter seriously reminded me of a Dave Chappelle video I saw once, nice to see a woman saying this though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymNdfdQvdVcI have a friend in the Philippines I regularly chat to and she describes it as "Princess Syndrome"

If you guys stop acting like evangelicals then we won't even need to say anything to get people to accept Bitcoin, taxes and government debt will bring them to us all by itself and it's already working because people are looking for alternatives.

Maybe I should test it to see which ones you can get banned off the easiest first

That can't be real LOL I'd have to see way more photo's of it and visit the person selling it before I'd bid on that and look at the price too, it's scary what inflation does to your money.

Okay, I figure now is as good a time as any but as you may have gathered I'm starting up in Jewellery making and I'm wondering how I'm going to protect my business long term from inflation and I think now is the best time to look around because I can see the crash coming next year and I don't want to end up completely slaughtered by Gold and Silver prices. Would anyone be interested in talking to me about a long term deal where I can buy Gold/Silver sheets cut to my specifications? I've seen bullion dealers around so maybe this is something you can diversify in a little bits. Here are examples of what I'm on about: http://www.cooksongold.com/Sheet/-Alloy=Silver_Sheet/-Thickness=0/-Type=0/&prdsearch=yWhile I could go pestering suppliers to take Bitcoin I know that isn't really an option and that will certainly just irritate people who know nothing about it, as I said, this is a long term thing, no purchases right now but I want to see if anyone out there is interested. I'd be happy to even pay for postage if it's international just because it would help me keep away from inflation, silver is what I'm most interested in currently because of its price, it all depends on how everything goes.

Every time I see a human do something stupid and they pay for it or learn from it, that and I've also seen how animals are actually getting used to cities now, even cats where I live have adapted to learn how to listen out for a car engine so the moment it starts they dart off rather than just get confused by the noise.

Maybe you should let people voice their opinions on their own rather than just making it up like a Journalist normally does.

Why is it that you lot are jumping to conclusions and just making up an imaginary conversation you had with him?

I'll have to do some digging around to find stuff like that but right now I need another coffee

It could be either way but unfortunately we may never know because everyones too focused on inanimate objects to care, I know I'd go psychotic and start shooting at people if psychiatrists forced drugs into me.

pffft you don't need to be a scientist to question everything, how do you think Socrates got killed?

If we're going to talk statistics, then some citations for your allegations would be handy. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18559_162-525965.html Shawn struggled with learning disabilities and significant emotional problems. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-arizona-shooting-gabbie-giffords-20121108,0,4209374.story After the shooting, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and underwent forcible psychotropic drug treatments. http://abcnews.go.com/US/seung-hui-chos-mental-health-records-released/story?id=8278195#.UNV0NjkU-Uk Cho had been admitted overnight to the hospital after his roommate became concerned when Cho threatened to take his own life. I'll find more if you like, but these are of the most memorable shootings and in all cases they were clearly having severe problems with their mental health before the shootings happened, when the media reports on the shootings I've noticed they barely talk about the fact these people very often have mental health problems and the people who do point it out ( I saw this on CNBC news ) are often given small segments where they are pretty much ignored. Sensationalist and over-charged arguments about gun control get more people riled up and watching the news channels than rational talk about the fact these people all had serious mental problems and were often having people taking care of them before they decided to go on a rampage, you can even see in the news articles for the current times that the mainstream news barely talks about the mental problems they had and prefer to just scare the living shit out of people instead.

I hate to say this but while you could indeed be correct you're not providing any way to determine which are useful stats and which are not. I would tend to believe you more if you were able to provide an insight into how you determine which statistics are correct, and which are not. For me, if proponents of both sides of an argument agree on the data, then that's a good start. After that it's all about the analysis. Which brings us to ..... If we're going to talk about gun control, the one thing that has been repeatedly proven in these mass shootings is that the shooters in the majority of these cases were complete maniacs and they often got their guns due to other peoples complacency and negligence. Like I said, rely on math, if you can't do that, rely on repetitive results, the more these situations repeat, even terrible situations, the more we can look at the patterns of what caused it and find a solution. Unfortunately we can do very little to stop human negligence even if we educate them on it because that's in our very nature, we all end up doing stupid things every now and then.
