What reports are you talking about? Everything seems fine to me, it's just the beginning. Projects only die when the developers give up on them. Some start slowly, some start with a bang. Either way, as long as the developer works hard and we all give support the project can't die just like that.

This project needs more attention, it would be a shame to let it slip away before it's even started. Decisive action is needed and plenty of promotion. Bounties and airdrops work well for that purpose. Having an exchange is crucial and something definitely needs to be done about the mining pool situation asap.

As above, getting in contact with Educational authorities/organisations could be a very good idea. With the right partnerships and a solid use case for the Educoin currency, this could really take off. Just needs some tlc.

Exactly, premine is essential for a non ICO Coin to be successful, with a few exceptions of course. Exchanges are not cheap. As long as some/most of the premine is used to help further the project, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I can also understand the dev's wanting to make a little money themselves for their efforts.

I'm still mining from time to time. I find it strange how the total hash goes up and down all day, as if a powerful mining rig is going offline every so many blocks then coming back on.

I believe they are trying to find a solution to not being able to have mining pools, so an exchange at this time is probably the last thing that's needed. Gotta sort out the basics first.

Can't wait for November the 1st, definitely going to jump on mining for a few weeks to up my Electroneum stash. I have high hopes for this project.

Interesting project, I will follow the thread to see how it progresses. I especially like the giving back to the community part, not many projects can claim to do that. Too many childish comments in here, happens on almost every thread. There is always a small group of pessimists that want a project to fail. I don't understand why some people make such an effort to be negative about something rather than find a project more suited to them and say something positive about that instead.

Don't worry, you missed out on nothing. Solo mining was always going to be pretty much out of the question. It has a huge amount of hash behind it already. Just join a pool like Yiimp or altminer and get mining.

This is a great idea and I am willing to do the same. I am fully invested in Centra, XVG and a few other alts at the moment and have no free bitcoin. They are all down massively at the moment lol.

I will buy a little Bitcoin or Eth from coinbase when I get paid later this month and send a bit to help out.. if I don't get any offers for 20k HCN.

I am using tpruvot ccminer 2.2.2, intensity set at 20/21 both seem the same for me. I bumped gpu clock by 115, default memory clock, 80% power.

1080 is 43 MH/s? No chance. Getting 26 with mine.

Lol me too, I had 16. I was very disappointed. I will mine on the pool for a few weeks and see how it goes.
