Shakhtar Donetsk have lost so many players to other teams due to the ongoing war against Russia. There were really skilled players like Tete among those players as well. It hasn't been easy for them to make progress from that situation so far. They are doing well in their domestic league actually and I can't say they are in too bad condition in the Champions League either.

Therefore I'm surprised with this sacking by Shakhtar Donetsk. I can't call his period at this team unsuccessful honestly.

There is a really interesting situation for Ireland in Group B. I don't know if you have heard but Ireland still have an opportunity to qualify for Euro 2024 on one condition. The condition is that Ireland need to lose to Netherlands on November 18 to gain a play-off quota for the UEFA Nations League.

In this way Ireland will have an opportunity to join Euro 2024 from there. The change in UEFA rules gave Ireland one last hope for this.

Because there are technically two ways now to join Euro 2024:

- The qualifiers
- UEFA Nations League

Here is another one of my betslips with a free bet I had.    These days things are going on really well for me in betting. However I'm still afraid of losing this amount I won in a short time.    Being greedy can be really dangerous in betting. There is a Chelsea - Arsenal match closing in on us. What are your thoughts about it?

Personally I think that Chelsea's job is still very difficult in Stamford Bridge despite the progress they made in their last 2 matches. Those wins are important to start believing in themselves more of course. But still they were wins against smaller teams. It is a mystery what they can do in this big match while Arsenal are in great shape. Arsenal got past a bigger obstacle like Manchester City in Emirates. I think that they are the closer side to win the match against Chelsea as well.

Chelsea need more contribution from their attackers. And I feel like this can only happen after Nkunku starts training with the team.

Yeah we have entered another race week and there are going to be 3 races in total in the 3 weeks ahead. This must be great news for Formula 1 fans surely. 

Verstappen was the winner of the last Grand Prix organized in the United States. I don't expect a much different result than that. The difference might be the winning margin this time. Because I think that it will be another very comfortable race for Verstappen. He has already announced his 3rd title though but he wouldn't lose anything in his ambition as usual.

I think that Kevin De Bruyne's absence will be felt even more in the Champions League. I mean that the group stage is comfortable for them of course as they don't have very tough opponents. But when they face title contenders in the later stages they would feel the absence of him surely.

Because there has been a really great cooperation between him and Erling Haaland especially. He has been creating so many goal chances for Haaland so far. He is an amazing player with his passes and impressive shots as well. Foden is trying to make up for De Bruyne but their playing styles are very different. Foden is more selfish than De Bruyne.

There has been a really huge improvement in the performance of Fenerbahçe's domestic players as well recently. And this has been reflecting on our national matches too. Especially İsmail Yüksek is playing at a really high level these days. He is very successful when it comes to one-on-one challenges. His successful tackle percentage is quite high.

At the same time I really like Ferdi Kadıoğlu's performance as well. You know that it is really hard to find a good Turkish left or right-back. This has been like one of the main problems in Turkish football. We just can't grow good left or right-backs many in number. For example Ferdi also has been grown from NEC Nijmegen Youth.

I agree about Croatia. They wouldn't lose their hope until everything becomes official. After playing bad against Turkey I was expecting Croatia to wake up and give their everything to get that needed win against Wales. They still couldn't prevent a loss by 2-1. Now they have equal points with Wales which made things harder for themselves.

However I think Croatia can still defeat Latvia and Armenia both in their remaining matches. Their situation is dependent on Wales' results from now on.

To be honest Wales can lose points in at least one of the matches against Armenia and Turkey. This would be enough for Croatia to qualify for Euro 2024 together with us.

Ange Postecoglou has made a huge change in the team after taking the Tottenham job. Tottenham are playing at a much more different level now compared to last season. They are able to play like this even though Kane has left the team. Because it has always been about team play. If you don't play a good football as a team then it doesn't matter whether you have a world class player in your squad.

What do you think about Tottenham's look in general of the season? Do you think they can really be a title contender this season?

Returning to the Super League with a derby match will be really exciting. Maybe Fenerbahçe can benefit from this match week as well. But I doubt Beşiktaş a lot in this derby match. Because they are going to be the away side and their current condition isn't very good. They are having tough days recently.

After Şenol Güneş has got sacked I wonder what they will do with Burak Yılmaz in this temporary time period. I see Aboubakar performing really great these days so Galatasaray would need to focus on defending him strongly.

I think that Galatasaray are highly favourite side to win this derby match for now.

Italy - Malta can really be one of the most interesting matches recently.    It might seem to you like Italy had many goal attempts during the match. However most of them were ineffective ones. Despite scoring 4 goals against Malta their goal expectation was below 1.00. Maybe this would be enough to explain what I'm telling you.

It is a solid win for Italy anyway of course. While they are having tough days this kind of a win was really needed for them. Thanks to this goal gap another one of my bets in my parlay won as well.

I really don't understand why Paul Pogba made this kind of a simple mistake. He tested positive for doping as you know. He was expected to get a four-year ban from professional football after this incident. He is banned for now but I can't see the duration of this ban for now. If it is really 4 years then I assume Juventus would terminate his contract soon.

A ban of 4 years could mean the end of his professional football career at the same time. Because he is already 30 years old now. He might just return to football to play for Saudi teams for money maybe but not more than that.

Group B is going on much more different than I expected. I would have never expected Arsenal to lose against Lens in the first place. They weren't like this against PSV actually. But Lens somehow found a way to counter them. However I'm still favouring Arsenal to finish this group as the leader.

When it comes to the team finishing right behind Arsenal it is difficult to predict for now. It is up to Lens' performance in a couple of more matches.

I didn't expect PSV to make a this bad start. They have 2 consecutive matches against Lens now. I think PSV will win home but I have big doubts for the away one after seeing Arsenal fail. 

Lastly I think Sevilla will still finish this group as the 3rd team and move on to the Europa League where they have been very successful in the recent years.
