At the current hash rates the mining pool generates 35-60 BTC a day. At the current price that buys roughly 200,000 coins a DAY.
So with a LIMITED SUPPLY of 74 Million coins at the current price the pool will BUY THE ENTIRE MARKET in one year.
I want everyone to repost this so that it really sinks in.
Dumpers or not, if the miners HOLD they will push this coin much higher than it was last week. Even in 3 months, they will have bought 25% of the entire supply. By that time im very certain that the price will give way to the pressure.
I didnt realize this, but this makes much sense, im moving to the bcmultipool right now, only 4mh/s but if theres 100 like me reading that message of you and realizing the same as me theyll also point their Miners to the bcmultipool right away! We should really tell everybody about this fact this is great You have missed the fact that each coin you buy pushes the price higher, so the next time you come to buy you get fewer coins (and so have less impact on the price). So over time, your influence on the price diminishes and at this point miners are more likely to leave to chase the next 'most profitbale coin'. Unless you have some other features to keep them. This is not entirely true! Because if the price drops, the miner buy even MORE of the coin. So all they have to do is maintain their position. If the price doubles or triples we can easily see more miners and most importantly at the current price, they will buy the market. One last point... if the miners bought up 25-50% and held it would cause this price to do a lot more than double. Because there are probably another 25% of the holders taking long positions! and with the new blackcoin atms being launched this summer as well as Tim Hortons jumping on board, this is gonna be HUGEWhere is this news from? |

PPC has estable prices and also a good potential of growing, also what makes BC different from Mint or ECC?
BC has a short block time. PPC 10 minutes, BC less than 1 minute. BC is pure PoS coin and PPC is not. I'm not sure if PPC will ever be pure PoS BC will not be as stable as PPC due to BC being only 1 month old. Wait 3 years and see how stable BC is. |

It seems every post in here about the price but what is it about Blackcoin that is going to make it more valuable than Peercoin over the next 1-3 years? Or do most see it as a speculation coin/pump and dump? What makes Blackcoin different? Who are the devs and what do they have in testing? Sorry if this has been discussed earlier  Maybe do some studying of your own. One advantage for me, is the faster transaction times. How has blackcoin overcome computer the latency? Transactions may be 10 sec but how many confirmations are requried? Once again, all this information is freely available. It is 10 confirmations recommended. So why would you feel for people who think they can play the game, buy like greedy idiots at an all time high and then panic "as soon as possible"? "Never sell lower than you bought" isn't a difficult thing to remember, and if you can't afford to lose ALL your investment, you should keep your hands off. The biggest thing I try to tell new people is do not buy when everyone else is buying. Investing 101. Remember, buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying. Hasn't failed yet. |

what i don't get is how is it energy efficient ? when the multipool is hitting any profitable coin out there. using a lot of electricity
to pay miners with blackcoins+sustaining the coin's virtual market cap - takes a lot of energy
Once the other coins die, (POW) I suppose multipool will die too. But BC does not need energy to keep its network running secure. |

I have never seen a pump of 110 BTC, after 40 BTC buys on iXcoin, EVER. And let's not forget someone bought 500,000 IXC on Vircurex just 3 or 4 days ago. So I don't know what to say, but I'm glad it's FINALLY happening!!! So that was a fake buy wall? Price does seam to be picking up a little. |
