881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Wallet for altcoins on: December 27, 2017, 07:14:43 PM
Hey guys,

I've been checking https://coinmarketcap.com lately and I noticed there are a lot of Alt Coins.

I am wondering how I can find an online wallet for these Alt Coins? They recommend me to download the wallet, does that mean no online wallet is supporting the Alt Coin yet?

I would like to buy some Alt Coins but I'm unable to find any online wallet that supports it.

Can anyone advise me on this? Is it normal that relatively new Alt Coins do not have an online wallet?

Thank you!

Coinmarketcap will contains the list of altcoins which is top 100 by default but first don't invest on all the altcoins are last rated coins in that list. However, if you want to save the bitcoin or the some other altcoins in the market you can choose the Jaxx wallet, coinpayments and myetherwallet.
If you invested on ICO tokens also you will get the tokens mostly supports on the myetherwallet only. Even you may find the most tokens in the which altcoin exchange so you can trade the coin in the market.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why tech giants love BTC and Financial giants hate BTC? on: December 27, 2017, 06:52:13 PM
While tech giants like Bill gates and John McAfee is speaking for Bitcoin and spreading the goodwill, wall street financial giants like Warren Buffet and Jamie Dimon are calling it a scam and has no value other than people FOMO buying it. This will surely confuse new people who interested in Bitcoin.
Also mainstream media like CNN and WSJ speak ill of Bitcoin and they are the first ones to report if BTC falls like 10% for a day, but they are never to be found when BTC gaining ground. Media is doing the same thing that they did to Trump. But Trump won eventually  Grin

What are your thoughts on this media manipulations and financial guys wanting to control BTC?

Financial giants mostly depends on the share market and banking. If bitcoin comes to the market banks usage will not be needed to make the international transfers cost, merchant fees and all other banking services. That is reason they always hate the bitcoin and some set of people additionally put the fake debate on bitcoin like using for drugs dealing and etc. They all knows truth US dollars is widely used in the black market but blaming bitcoin to stop using the potential virtual currency.
Tech lovers always goes with the bitcoin and ethereum because they can learn as well as earn with the blockchain technology by doing the own projects with the bitcoin.
883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITPAY SUPPORT TEAM on: December 27, 2017, 06:36:07 PM
how many days must wait for answer the support team of BITPAY???

5 DAYS NOW AND STILL NO ASWER FROM BITPAY Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Bitpay API is used by the various people but the most of the forum members reported it as the cheap and worst service. They use to be delay always in the responding the people who are all using towards it. If you have the support team email contact means write to them because they may be see that then they can reply to you too.
Support team web page will not be noticed if they do not have the customer support team live in any concern website.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 3 ALTSCOIN 2018 on: December 26, 2017, 01:49:55 PM
I know this is asked quite a bit, but I've already read all the posts and i am looking for new coins or possibly ICOs. I'm trying to find a new perspective. What are some cool projects or technologies that are being worked on?

My 3 are REQ, XLM, KCS

Almost around 10 ICO for a week comes to the market so choose the right one which can show the perfect growth once the coin has been launched the market. Still you may find the more altcoins which gonna comes to the market. Recently viberate coin has been added to jaxx wallet list.
You may find the altcoins already in the market like Neo, Waves, IOTA and CARDANO are will emerge and give the more profit for these coins investors. So check the potential coin and invest to it.
885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning $50,000 into 1M in 365 days- Buy and Hold possible? on: December 26, 2017, 01:31:00 PM
Well,it sounds pretty ambitious but attainable, I will advice you to search for very low supply coins with solid teams and a solid project buy them and hold.2018 is the year of most altcoins, projects will be nearing completion and we will see massive utilty and adoption of these projects too. So buy buy and hodl
That's really a huge target mate road to 1M will be a great challenge, lots of research which is needed to be done, I'm sure it will be a swing venture but if you have a lots of time then everything will be good to go, just find those quality project and also try to have some good ICO project.

Investing on bitcoin alone it may become possible as he wish bro. Most of the traders are now holding the bitcoin price fluctuate more in the price chart. I noticed that many people expect the bitcoin value would be touched that 20 to 25k USD in the next year first three months.
So I am sure it turns to 1 million usd but however, it is some how 50% and more profit with this investment. Don't divert alts when you are aiming big profits.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties - how do they work? on: December 26, 2017, 07:59:31 AM
If the project is not good even if you receive a good % you're wasting time.

And even if the project is great if there's already 100 people in the signature bounty, you're making peanuts.

Look for decent projects with few participants, that's my advice

Few participants just mean that the project of that bounty has no future. It's the opposite because if there are more than a hundred participant like in their signature bounty then I assure you that it's going to be successful.

What you said is about the participants work for the bouties bro. but are expecting the members who gives more bump to their announcement thread and promote with the signature in the multiple with the resonable post.
So they use to pay in bitcoin or tokens. This how they design the payment option weekly. You have to get the tokens once the token sale has been over.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips on choosing the right ICO on: December 26, 2017, 07:33:48 AM
How to choose the right tips for choosing a good project?

The most important thing to choose a right ICO is to make a research about there good credibility in the market and roadmap project, and also check there whitepaper good ratings and successful project and also their member and dev have a greentrust and capability to handling a project, because some ICO is only a scam they are only wasting your time effort to promoting there project.

Fake road map also they may provide to us. White paper only will gives the more information what is the project relenvancy and future growth and etc of the project, so you will be able to make the more money once the coin has been launched in the marketplace in any trading site. Mostly don't go to high capital ICO because those coin value will dumps once the coin launched. So need to check the developer team information as well.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [IPL] InsurePal | Distributed social proof insurance on: December 26, 2017, 07:10:32 AM
Most trusted of this month we will find the great growth after the coin has been launched as well. It is different view to make peer to peer insurance for the social guarantee. As mentioned in this is the first time I am seeing the social proof insurance with empowered to the internet. White paper information also seems like most trusted one. Investors can grab the opportunity soon.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 25, 2017, 06:41:40 PM
I noticed an interesting trend: as soon as the capitalization of the crypto currency is growing at a rapid pace - immediately there are reports of "cracking exchanges by hackers." May be. it's just human greed and the owners of the exchanges only pretend that they were hacked?

This could be human greed and they may name it a hack  Ideally I think that such things only demoralize the people to buy/sell from exchanges but nobody is sure that some other website may take their bitcoin and runaway. Thus some solution should be implemented in order to avoid such things happening in future.

Have you faced any hack issue from your wallet or somewhere in exchange first. Mostly hackers try to hack the exchange site to loot all the funds of traders you have fund in that site. You may hear about nice hash hack also recently done. These will be done most of the time. I have lost some bitcoins using the blockchain wallet from the past 2 years and I lost moly fund when I am try to log in using the Google search option.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: December 25, 2017, 06:26:11 PM
Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks

It is completely risk only. It is not only applies for altcoin. You have to think that bitcoin investment with the all fiat also risk or not. Keep some funds on fiat as well as in multiple crypto currencies. You will be able to make money if the value of crypto currency bumps moreover when you invest on multiple cryptos it balances the price fluctuatations too.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo is Dead on: December 25, 2017, 06:09:43 PM
shitty coin, it has no potential

Have to checked the complete dashboard information of neo price movement bro. Keep understand what are all you check while investing on any crypto currency. Neo, waves and tenx are the best cryptos which are emerging in the market now. Due to dump in the bitcoin and other top cryptos people now turns very cheap coins and that is the reason we find the moderate price altcoins. Will all things turns back soon.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell or hold bitcoin cash ? on: December 22, 2017, 08:12:12 PM
You should not sell it now because its price is very low. you should buy more and wait until it recover soon. Dont do anything. Be patient and wait

Now the correction almost take part on the all top coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bch and etc... So in this holding this BCH in the sense you may loose the money continously because all the times we find the bump again in the bitcoin alone not with the splitted coins and all.
Or if you feel that you will get the returns as you said keep holding it for a month, you will got to know that what is happen in the next year. Almost price correction has been done from the Christmas onwards we may find the bump in the btc chart alone.
893  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Adult services for btc on: December 22, 2017, 07:45:20 PM
Looking to get started in adult entertainment but PayPal isn't an option since their policy forbids it. Are there websites specifically for this? Any advice/info is appreciated.

Vkcams is one of that and I have noticed some of projects already came to bitcoin forum itself as a paid service with the bitcoin. Kindly check those using the search bar in the forum you may get the information about it.
I am not sure whether it is right or wrong investing bitcoin on the adult related service but it will helps that economy also to boom more with the bitcoin. Since price is low keep holding it for sometime and then you use for it.
894  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase fees reach an all time high on: December 22, 2017, 06:30:29 PM
I'm not sure if it's all coinbase fees and not fees paid to the miners to process the transaction in the network. either way, it does sound ridiculous.

Not only bitcoin fee even ethereum gas price also increased. Please ignore the transaction now it will again increase the bitcoin circulation and that will also decrease the bitcoin price.
You will find the transaction fees on every online wallet provider site. So nightmare for bitcoin transaction done by every network pool demand. Keep hold it show the bump again guys. Try to make demand on btc.
895  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LTCMiner.io is a scam <<< BEWARE on: December 22, 2017, 04:23:02 PM
100% True. LTCMiner.io is SCAM. I requested payout 5 days ago, perhaps its just 0.01LTC, I didnt get nothing.

And yea do not invest on these websites as it always smells fishy, go with the free plans 1st in case you were tempted to test it out.

Cloud minimg and peripherals of mining resellers will be always scamming here. That is reason many people fear to invest on mining platform. You have to check about the GPU mining and ASIC mining as of now these both only profitable in mining.
Now if you want to start invest on miningcdo with the claymore dual mining for ethereum you will get the returns very soon when the price bumped again.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Segwit2X hardfork will be held on December 28, all about new Bitcoin fork on: December 21, 2017, 07:10:38 PM
The Segwit2X hardfork will be held on December 28, all about the new Bitcoin fork

It seems that the implementation of Segwit2X's hardfork will still occure, in less than seven days. Block number 501451, which will be mined approximately on December 28, 2017, can become the defining factor for the new - old fork Segwit2X and a kind of "Christmas gift" for the entire Bitcoin community.

"Commission and transaction speed within the Bitcoin network reached incredible values. The last month the average commission of the network is 15-20 US dollars, and the confirmation rate can reach several days. Bitcoin is simply impossible to use as a means of payment

Source: ICO and crypto news telegram channel.

Guys are you aware of it.  I think this is the effect of bitcoin price dump we are finding now.

Investing on bitcoin will double time profit again. My speculation about the btc  price on the chart may touch up to 25k USD. So what is yours.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin is the best for cpu mining? on: December 21, 2017, 06:30:00 PM
You'll want to choose something that is CPU exclusive or doesn't favor GPUs. Cryptonote coins are going to be the most popular suggestions. At the moment, Electroneum is still profitable, but much less so than it has been. I've been switching between Intense Coin (which I'm probably now bailing on, as it seems like they've sold out. So maybe, it would be profitable to keep mining, but it doesn't feel right.) and Ultranote. I have moderate hopes for Ultranote, it seems cooler than a lot of projects where I can mine 1000s of coins with my CPUs. Verium is CPU only, but the rewards are really slow at this point. Could be worth it in the long run, though, as it seems like a legit project.

Other potential things to investigate, though I don't recommend them in any way as I've never tried them out and they could be viruses wanting to get up in your business.
-ROI coin
-Iridium

Try and find the newer coins out there. Easier said than done.

Thanks a lot informations!
I'm trying Intense Coin, and it seems good for now.
After mining other coin that you informed me, I decide to which coin is best matching for me.

You're welcome!
Also, a couple other things you could look into:

1. Using miningpoolhub.com to mine Monero and autoexchange it to DGB or just something cheaper than Monero.
2. I'm going to try mining BBR today and see how that goes.

I am new to mining side alone. I recently started the 8 Rx 470 cards rig in my he itself. Now I mine the ethereum with the nanopool and using awesome miner to mine. So I see around 15 to 18 USD per day. I do like monero and I wish to mine it. What would be best suggestion with the cards I have. How many hashes it produce for monero mining specially.
898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why altcoins traded in Bitcoin and not in $ ? Tricks to save money during drop on: December 21, 2017, 06:13:21 PM
Hello everyone,

1) I would like to understand why altcoins are traded in Bitcoin and not directly in dollar ?  Huh

it's really a problem that almost all of altcoins depend on Bitcoin price because when Bitcoin price drop, altcoins drop too and conversely (that's what happening right now) ...while if altcoins were traded in dollar, each crypto were independent...

If tomorrow Bitcoin totally crash , altcoins will crash too...

2) What are your tricks to keep monney when bitcoin pump and dump ?

For example, you buy 100$ of myaltcoin at 1$ (so you have 100 myaltcoin), one month later, myaltcoin price is 2$ (beause of myaltcoin rise and bitcoin rise), you have now 200$.

Now, you want to keep your 200$ to continue trading. There are two solutions :

- Exchange myaltcoin in Bitcoin and keep them
- Exchange myaltcoin in Bitcoin and exchange them in another altcoin

But for example, Bitcoin drop of 50% few hours later...

In both cases you lose 100$ and your return at 100$.

So, how do you do to keep max profit ?
Do you exchange your currencies in dollars as soon as you have a profit ?

I have seen that TETHER guaranteed his value at 1$ but i have seen too that it's a scam...

Thanks for your comments !!  Wink

Today also I met one altcoin trader who is trading multiple coins on polenix but he does not know difference of the multiple wallets like desktop, hardware and online wallets. This is traders understanding about the crypto currency.
Other than trading there are fiat trading site you can find the seller who can give btc for the fiat you have. Utilize that site to take the bitcoin inside the trading site. Due to the transperancy with the anonymous way is always find on bitcoin only not with the cash or banking.
899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin going down? on: December 21, 2017, 05:47:45 PM
They are natural corrections, we have seen them in the past, in this world they will see this type of falls on a regular basis, but after that comes the new rise surpassing the last high price level.

You are the one perfect in your answer. I believe that we will find the bitcoin price boom again. This is how price recovered last time hard fork again and time BTG splitted as well.
You will get the profit if you invested on the bitcoin you will get a 2000 USD profit in a week. Please if you are able to invest on bitcoin try to grab the situation again.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitconnect Speculation on: December 21, 2017, 05:26:48 PM
I'm finding this project really interesting right now. I think it has a good development team, and that its simplicity leaves it with a lot of room to expand. I actually find it refreshing that it doesn't exchange on Poloniex or Bittrex. This reduces it's volatility while it still maintains a healthy volume and price trading on it's own secure and well developed exchange.

What are everyone else's thoughts on Bitconnect?

It's a terrible investment, it is a ponzi scheme and will be one of the first to go bust as soon as cryptos hit a bear period, the money will dry up and suddenly they'll disappear with all of the investments.

But bitconnect price alone grows that more like bitcoin everyday. Even in August 1st fork dumps the bitcoin but bitconnect is only coin in the top 100 list you will find bitconnect alone not dumped in the chart.
I think they are sending mails to many people to invest on bitconnect trading platform and some said me that they have scammed them but I am not sure that it true or not.
