I won the Javier Baez (Cubs) blank back card from ToppsVault, and it’s one of my least favorite cards. To be honest, I find it a bit boring due to the blank back. Sure, it’s a rare 1/1 baseball card that will be worth a little profit someday, but that’s all to me. I prefer my various, less rare mini cards.

Sorry my dude, I didn't even know the value of it until I checked Beckett and saw the glow in the dark was priced at $1,000.00. I almost shit myself. I would say that your best bet is to buy the blaster boxes. More packs for your money.
Is there a link to the Beckett prices? I’d love to see how they value all the various #83 parallels. Regards, Me

I'm looking for the the super rare non existent card You must mean this one. Regards, Me

That card has a count of 100. The No Number is 50 and the Brooklyn is 25.
From your finger tips to God's ears my friend. Make us HoDLers rich already :-)
Really? I always read that the mini Ginter X (black) cards were all estimated ~50. I'll make a note. Regards, Me search page one for "blowout". It reads like this. Per Blowout cards, roughly 100 of these cards exist. Source: https://www.blowoutforums.com/showpost.php?p=13835248&postcount=946Excellent! Thanks for clearing up my confused mind. Regards, Chris

I was out of town this morning....missed the whole thing But the X black mini Cryptocurrency card that sold before this last one($310), went for $336.... I'm HODLing most of my Topps A&G crypto cards. Next year, Topps will almost certainly add new crypto/blockchain cards (or some kind of crypto-related cards) to the A&G sets. They'd be fools NOT to do it. The crypto cards have out-sold ALL other cards — Ohtani, Acuna, Trout, whatever — so why not ride the wave next year too? And once they come out with a new crypto card, the original rookie cards will just grow in value. (At least, that's my theory. LOL) Cryptocurrency #83, FTW! Regards, Me ...can't be a whole lot of them roaming the USA...most of the forum member have 5 or 6 of them each I think. If they're really limited to approx. /50, then I'd say 90% the cards belong to a handful of people here.

Devils advocate. But wouldn't a coat of matte polyurethane do the same thing? That, and a ball point blue pen saying "1/1". It's too much like a base mini to tell 100%. I think it's most likely genuine, but then again how hard would it be to fake.
No one will know for sure until/unless it’s sent to PSA for authentication. However, it looks pretty legit, so I’m inclined to believe that it is. Regards, Me

Got mine today. Wonderful quality. My first platinum collectible ever - now I can proudly say it was a BTC-Penny. Thank you for the kind words, Kryptowerk! Just curious... did you get one of the rare variations? Regards, Me

Well ladies and gentlemen, those ginter x boxes took a hit today . I'll take one off your hands at half yesterday's price
Because the 1/1 glossy mini has been found? LOL There are PLENTY of rare Cryptocurrency cards — /1, /5, /25, /50 — left in the wild! (Not to mention all the high dollar /10 or /25 autograph (full-size and mini) and Rip cards for Ohtani, Acuna, Trout, etc! I'll keep my Ginter X boxes a while longer. Regards, Me

Good luck on selling that un-authenticated card with no feedback. The seller would stand to make much more by having someone escrow the transaction, and/or have it validated by PSA first.
Absolutely! Zero feedback history? No, thank you. Send it to PSA for official authentication and/or professional grading. What would that cost? An extra $50 on the low side? Then auction it for a lot more cash! Regards, Chris

Me either, but now that card is like worth half of what it was on the last auction, no?
Baseball card prices always drop a little after the post-season, but they always pick up again at Christmas time. Then they drop over the winter months. Then back up again during spring training. However, these are not really baseball cards, IMHO. These are crypto-collectibles, so they're not subject to the same seasonal swings. Personally, I think this auction ended at a time when most people simply forgot or otherwise missed the chance to snipe. Heck, I almost forgot too. Regardless, someone got a good price on a good card. Congratulations, whomever! Regards, Chris

Only 7 minutes left! Me DISCLOSURE: This is NOT my card, I am NOT seller 25ss52 (although I am fond of palindromes), and I have NO idea who the seller may be. I'm simply giddy when it comes to these cards.

Dann these look sick, and I Love Platinum! Props to you Chris & Bitcoin Penny for doing well over the past few years and growing your business to making platinum, gold, and silver Bitcoin Pennies!
Keep up the great work; I remember when you started on here, I still have one of the first few sets of Bitcoin Pennies. I've been away from the forum for the past couple years (wish I had gotten back on here sooner to get one of these!), not really by choice, and just got back on here recently and it's great to see your and others' success and the growth of both your businesses and the Bitcoin world & economy itself!

Thank you for the kind words, snarlpill! It's good to have you back on the forum. Yes, our little company has grown a bit since our early days, and it's all due to forum members like you who continue to support bitcoin and the bitcoin community. Browse the collectibles subforum, and you'll recognize a few more names of people who still make goodies for the bitcoin collectibles world. And several new makers with new ideas to appreciate and collect. Man, I love this place! Welcome back, snarlpill! Regards, Chris

My 2 ginter x boxes lasted about a week. You have tremendous discipline
I'm opening a box tomorrow. Looking for red or silver Well...? How'd it go??? Today is a long, boring day of cleaning the house. I may need to play with baseball cards to relax. I'll try to focus on organizing my many cards and NOT opening any Ginter X boxes...yet. Regards, Me

I agree that on average, it’s more financially efficient to buy singles on eBay. That’s true for almost all baseball cards, not just this Cryptocurrency #83. However, after all the other Ginter X cases have been opened and the 1/1 silver mini, the few remaining /5 red minis, the remaining /? Glow-in-the-Dark minis, the rest of the /25 Brooklyn back minis, and all the remaining /50 black minis are still missing in the wild somewhere, then my sealed Ginter X case will be worth a small fortune! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! Regards, Me And if you ever decide to crack it and wish to purge a few boxes **coughcough** Honestly, it's a daily struggle to not break it open and search thru every box. Regards, Me
