Also do you know how can anyone set fees on p2pool? You have to hardcode your wallet address to code and then use --give-author?
No, the -a parameter specifies your payout address and -f the fee percentage. If no address is specified (e.g. the yacoin p2pool doesn't accept the -a parameter, which is weird but whatever), the fee goes to the wallet of the coin client running in the background on the server. Can't help much with the networks.py (not the only file that needs to be modified i think), best bet is to donate a little something to Narken and ask him if he will do it.

I thought it was a Novacoin fork.

Type get mininginfo into the console to see the network hashrate.

I've not noticed any difference on may 14th when the N++ event happened.
1) difficulty was supposed to drop - I left nothing 2) GPUs were supposed to take a hit - AFAIK they still own the network.
Answers?
My VPS only makes 230 khashes now instead of 315 before. Not sure if related, maybe the hoster got new customers.

I connected to procrypto's p2pool just fine, so i guess you made a tiny error. Maybe the worker port? This guide has helped me a lot, it's for feathercoin but you'll get the idea: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=182027.0@procrypto: Great, immediately saw my address in the payout list. @ntkrnl: Thanks too! Sent you a tip.

Maybe we will get connections when the sun rises where OP lives.

Maybe if someone donates 10k FC2 to Narken.

Still not seeing payouts Probably because of the high hashing power and low difficulty. Just seems odd to me that it was working fine earlier but not now. There was less people. Pool basically got highjacked by powerful miners, we aren't generating shares as fast as they are solving them Again, one share should count for multiple blocks, especially when the share difficulty is as high as now. Also when i set low difficulty shares by adding +0.00025 to my address, i got payouts, but they stopped, although i still get lots of shares. Even when i get high diff shares i get no payout. IMO the pool has a slight bug. Got similar problems with the yac p2pool btw.

this is how p2pool work on start low dif, getting too fast block, not everyone made a share when next block comes..
I think there's a problem with the pool code. After i set low difficulty shares by adding +0.00025 to the address i got payouts for some time then it stopped, after you restarted the same. Tried without +0.00025 aswell. Is it intended that the pool shares have a harder difficulty than the feathercoin difficulty? That sounds wrong, but i dunno. Also P2pool shares normally count for a few rounds, especially when the share diff is high.

Just starting to recieve payouts again. Riot try a new address, maybe pool is picky. -edit- after some minutes my address vanished from payout list aswell.
