looking forward to the videos and some photos..

Coming soon.

I spoke with you about three weeks ago. You said you would be posting pictures and a video. You posted pictures of bitfury boards, but no video. If your shipping units, you should be able take picture of what your shipping..
Regards,
Brian

884  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 12, 2013, 09:22:53 PM
So all weeekend testing and big show today and no photos or nothing?

What the hell does big show mean anyway if there's still no updates or nothing to show??

It takes about 2 seconds to take a photo, 5 seconds to upload onto imgur.com, and 5 seconds to paste the link here.

Or better yet. Post a eligius stat page.

I looked at the blog. All I see are photo/demonstration promises and "We have almost sold out of all units. Please make sure to place your order before you miss out!"

Mate you gotta show us something. Anything. Before trying to hawk your product.

And where are you on 55 Cavill Avenue? Which shop listing? 12A 6B 11C 11A?Huh

Andrew, what happened to the pictures/video that were supposed to be released yesterday after the show?

Enuff off the bullshit mate, when you say your going to do something, then farken do it and stop beating around the bush. You are your own worst enemy, please read business 101 manual for help.

You could of at least posted a single picture of your devices over the weekend, anything at all?

even at these reduced rates, will these units actually give ROI?
Regards,
Brian
What makes you think it won't! I know it's just speculation, but, if everything stays normal, which assumes BTC stays here or higher, DIFF goes higher at similar rate, then, yes it will give ROI, that too, easily.

My thoughts were:
I bought 10 shares of R12. So that would be 10% of the units income or 100 GH(I'll use the high-end). It looks to be a profit right now. http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/14549edc12
That is assuming the bitcoins price stays this high and 100 GH hash rate. Or am I missing something?

Brian

couple questions.

Where is the business plan or prospectus?
Clean transactions? So you're policing transactions.
what's with free hosting? Couldn't a business of that scale have private hosting.
How do you justify 60% of the profits or startup cost?

well, buyer beware

888  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 05, 2013, 06:48:02 PM
The annuncment should come for the iceminer asset, so there should at least be an announcement. It will be vague and useless, yes. Then they will "carry on" until december, when they will ship from the 25th to the 31th.

And if they file for bankruptcy we will have the first open source 28nm asic design ever.

Seriously unless you know something we dont, you should take a chill pill.

HF announced a delay, the cause for the delay, a solution for the problem and a new rough ETA thats still a week from here. Whats this panic about?
If you never anticipated these things could be delayed by at least a few weeks, why did you even order? I can understand BFL customers getting upset about waiting over a year and hearing new excuses and delays every other week, but thusfar, this seems a total non issue.

Be honest: are you upset because we are now 5 (!) days beyond their initial shipping window, or because difficulty is 2x higher and growing much faster than you expected when you placed your order?

I believe he is upset because:
1. we are now 5 days beyond the shipping window
2. the difficulty is 2x and growing much faster
3. there is no proof that the devices will be completed any time soon.  No pictures of pcb boards, no announcement of the chips (knc took 2 weeks after getting chips to start shipping)
4. No refunds
5. No communication from Hashfast.  (everything is under NDA apparently)
Well, my order is Batch 2, so that will be delivered on March 2014, I just noticed the fact, really shocked me.
That mean I throw money to water without any sound.
So we will need a layer before they announce anything we do not want to hear?

yes, unfortunately any ROI is going to be minimal (depending on BTC prices. Of course). BFL should be shipping about that time (we'll see). That happens far too often with preorders

I'm a bit disappointed..

Was looking for a long term investment.  I don't particularly fancy being used to front these machines for you guys to keep after 2 years.

unless there is long term dividend on profits, I'm sorry but I'm not interested.

Getting Bitcoin ATMs into some capital cities via crowd-funding is a great idea, but this is more like a 2-year USD-Bond with 300% interest, than an invest into BTC cash machines.

my 2 satoshis to OP:
1. denominate the shares in BTC or some call it XBT now. ( don't use USD )
2. hire lawyers
3. hire an auditor
4. get an escrow to act as trustee and distribute the dividends.

my 2 satoshis to potential investors:
1. let the buyer beware (Caveat emptor)
2. do your own due diligence
3. there's plenty of other XBT investments out there. (just like the ones we in BitAngels see on a daily basis)

Hello,
I would like to see a business plan written up or full disclosure. Such as a prospectus. Guaranteeing a certain ROI is a bit worrisome. I think of the show "American greed". Everybody guarantees a certain amount and we know how that turns out..
Just some random thoughts

PSA was released to the public:

appears to be the site
893  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: THIS question goes to D- Zombei R5, R6, R9 R10, R11,R12 Share owners. on: November 03, 2013, 06:05:37 AM
Bitminter isn't a bad pool, and they also do merged mining...

I'd vote no on R5/R6 with my 5 votes however.  Changing horses in the middle of the stream is always hazard prone.  Of course, if the vote goes the other way, then we'll do it - I'm just a normal shareholder in those 2 GBs just like everyone else.

Don't know how many R9-R12 shares I have - maybe 2 (?)  I'd vote them "yes" since the hashing for those Gbs is still just being finalized.

-R-
as

I have 10 shares of R12. I'd be interested in the difference of speeds. Between the pools.. Before making such a rash decision, LOL.

Brian

Correction: 29 shares are available at the moment.

yes, I bought 10 shares as a trial run. Smiley
I'm assuming we can see the machines hash once they're up and running? You may have covered this before, there's just a few threads.

895  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining Technology (AMT) on: November 01, 2013, 04:34:16 PM
I guess it all depends on your risk tolerance. I run a electronics company that sells items for we'll say $1500. I have had customers that have wanted to pay with a credit card or PayPal and ship it to Afghanistan, Israel, Hong Kong. I usually refuse as the credit card to be stolen and or the customer could say they didn't receive it. Same thing with PayPal.. You can buy a PayPal verified account as well. So perhaps it just out of the company's comfort zone. I have no affiliations with the company or any employees. I'm waiting on the video to see if I should place an order or not.. Perhaps you could buy with escrow and bitcoins?

Brian

I dropped by the website and spoke with the chat operator. He was cool and a video is coming later tonight.
897  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Where are the new Custom Hardware vendors? on: October 25, 2013, 07:36:26 PM
Oh really?  As one of the few shipping ASIC vendors, I think that makes me qualified to speak on the subject, unlike you.  What have you done to bring a new product to the market from scratch?  Oh that's right... nothing at all.

yes, but if you create products that have negative ROI. What good are your products? It shouldn't take a year or so for people to get what they pay for. Anyhow, we won't go there. There is a thread called "BFL fucks everyone over" where your fan base is.

900  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: October 24, 2013, 01:20:41 AM
...I would rather have them to be late than rush and lower their standards such as KnCMiner did. No, no, no, I would rather they delay by a couple of months and deliver high quality products...

You're joking, right?  Would you also rather that KnC shipped a couple of months later, if you were a KnC customer now?

Nope, I am not joking. I am very used to high quality hardware and I see no reason to lower my standards, but pricing of the hardware will be a factor. I plan on running the hardware for years.

that makes absolutely no sense.. What do you work for them? Don't insult our intelligence
