881  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Chess Game on: May 09, 2012, 02:31:30 PM
Back in the days, I ported it to j2me and even the palm pilot. Maybe a mobile client for Android, or so, would be an idea...

I once wrote some Java sources for Chess...if you need help...
883  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Chess Game on: May 09, 2012, 01:47:34 PM
I just wondered, if it might be more fun, if teams could play against each other. Make some chat room for each team, where users would discuss their next move.

Du musst doch aber die Musiker erstmal motivieren, was hochzuladen, bevor man was runterladen kann. Dazu solltest Du ihnen paar Features anbieten.
885  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Neues Bitcoinprojekt: Bitcoins für Musik on: May 08, 2012, 11:32:21 AM

Who would print and send the mail?
887  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Create a game that accepts Bitcoin for currency on: May 06, 2012, 03:36:30 PM
What I don't understand:

- 1. do you want to advertise BTC to some (more or less) computer illiterate people, who have never heard of bitcoins?

- 2. Do you want current BTC users to play your game?

For 2. , I would definitely _not_ recommend any game, that you have to learn for hours and then play for may hours before you get anywhere, because I guess more users would be computer freaks and have better things to do than playing a game for a long time. I would instead recommend some game concept, that you can play during lunch break, or so.

As an example:

It seems, that there is no android wallet yet?
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Mt.Gox Trading API on: May 04, 2012, 11:36:11 AM
I'm working on a private Java implementation, too. There are some problems, like the lack of micro seconds in Java, but I think, I have a workaround. I've just started the UI elements, so it's still a long way to go...
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Litecoin Development Club on: May 04, 2012, 10:59:28 AM
Same here. I just willing to contribute to game, but not really interested in playing it...

Another idea: I learned these days, that we have more than 30 LETS (local exchange and trading systems) here with their own currency. I wonder if some of them might be interested in making their currency convertible to a virtual currency, so they could use features like mobile payment. OTOH I would add much value to those *coins, because there would be so much more shops, where you could pay with them?
891  Bitcoin / Project Development / Looking for Java coder and/or trader for tradebot development on: May 03, 2012, 01:58:09 PM
Hi!

I already wrote some code, but I'm looking for some Java and/or trade experience to further this project.

TIA,
Andreas
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RaspberryPi litecoin CPU and GPU miner bounty on: April 30, 2012, 06:11:51 PM
That was before the reaper LTC GPU miner was released and the LTC rate dropped to nil...
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RaspberryPi litecoin CPU and GPU miner bounty on: April 29, 2012, 09:46:51 PM
Hi!

Why do you want to mine on such a machine? Better use it to run a tradebot 24/7...
894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Bitarb] GET A FREE SHARE FOR HELPING! Bitcoin Arbitrage Bot Trading Fund on: April 29, 2012, 05:29:11 PM

Are any developers working on similar stuff?
896  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: AMD Catalyst 12.4 Released today. Thoughts? on: April 27, 2012, 11:33:51 AM
This is on Gentoo Linux...

phoenix crashed with it after some seconds. Tried it several times. Couldn't get reaper to work with it.

Gave up after some hours and went back to my old driver version. At least phoenix works again.

898  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Bitcoin Rap on: April 26, 2012, 11:09:20 AM
Mach es doch einfach hier im Forum. Jeder soll ein paar Zeilen posten, die ihm gerade einfallen. Mal schauen, was bei rauskommt... Smiley

Ich fang mal an:

Freies virtuelles Geld
Darauf wartete die Welt

...und nun noch den Rest... Smiley
