Come on guys, link articles etc. so people don't think your crazy.

Messing with video games won't make me violent, however if you touch my porn you better pray to whatever gods you believe in.

I think the only thing moderators should be doing is stopping spam bots and virus posters, usually if you pay attention to common sense that's all you need if you get a block function.
8823  Economy / Economics / Re: The Collapse of The American Dream Explained in Animation on: December 12, 2012, 02:11:23 PM
The money and debt video overall is exactly the same as this, the only difference is the way it's presented, also, you should compare the price of Bitcoins to dollars in the stores you see, it shows exactly what is wrong with our current system, it's actually crazy seeing the prices as they are now and to think it will get worse than this is scary.
8824  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why does December get so damn boring? on: December 12, 2012, 01:10:37 PM
Hah! Tongue Not drama, just general activity, it's like everyones buggered off for the end of the year.
8825  Other / Off-topic / Re: PayPal balance: $1,382.12 AUD on: December 12, 2012, 10:48:06 AM

8826  Other / Off-topic / Re: PayPal balance: $1,382.12 AUD on: December 12, 2012, 10:26:29 AM
..... You've saved up all that money and you're going to spend it on gambling? No wonder the Bitcoin economy is growing so slowly.
8827  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why does December get so damn boring? on: December 12, 2012, 08:47:39 AM
I'm not in Russia, I'm in the most boring city in the world in the most boring country in the world. Cheesy
8828  Other / Off-topic / Why does December get so damn boring? on: December 12, 2012, 08:22:21 AM
It can't be just me, I guess it's because a lot of people are forced encouraged to visit their families and socialise with them but hell it's boring towards the end of the year, even I'm going to have to be made to socialise with the family members visiting even though by popular opinion we've managed to weed them down to just a few as opposed to everyone coming each year and irritating the living daylights out of me while I'm trying to work/relax. Everyone disappears, even the people that keep me entertained like Jon Stewart etc. and there are also no new game releases or anything like that.

Anyone else get bored? Sad I've noticed it gets better towards new years but ARGHHHHH! I'm actually doing a lot of work on my manga now just to keep me from going crazy which I suppose is a good thing but still Cheesy

8830  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAMMER] Jessica - Do not deal with on: December 12, 2012, 08:12:56 AM
How do you guys get scammed so easily? If someone is selling pirated games or online accounts then it's obvious that they're going to be shifty, you can download the majority of this stuff off bittorrent for free.
8831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The french exchange partnership with banks on: December 11, 2012, 04:32:15 PM
Please make a better poll than this, when looking at some of this stuff I keep getting the feeling you all watch too much Fox News.
8832  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins Can Inflate Too - Stop worrying about deflation. on: December 11, 2012, 02:54:54 PM
You could just copy and paste the numbers that the person has asked for rather than write the whole thing in the Bitcoin client, it isn't that hard, oh and deflation isn't a bad thing, for one thing it makes it far easier to live because prices fall, the people who bitch about deflation are likely the same type of people who invest in real estate etc. and hugely benefit from inflationary policies like interest rate fixing and money printing.

Oh and by 'invest' in housing, I mean they buy a dirt cheap wreck, make it look pretty for cheap and then charge an outrageous amount of money that's several times higher than what the house is actually worth.
8833  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Using renewable energy to mine? on: December 11, 2012, 09:41:21 AM
Yeah that's the only trouble, how to deal with radiation, that stuffs pretty nasty so I'll take a lot of time thinking about that before I actually try anything, the thing is though, if the government are going to be obsessed with weaponry then who else is going to go after the stuff that isn't as harmful?
8834  Other / Off-topic / Re: [poll] % of sick bitcoiners on: December 11, 2012, 09:31:36 AM
You aren't alone! Had a horrible flu/virus/cold thing these past couple of weeks, I'm recovering every time I sleep now though.

LOL I love the way they attached a playstation controller to the gun turret.
8836  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin-Central, first exchange licensed to operate with a bank. This is HUGE on: December 10, 2012, 09:54:25 PM
Do you understand how bitcoin works? Bitcoin is already in a bank, and you owe the private key to your funds. That's it. Your bitcoins are secured in the blockchain.

If you want someone to keep a record of your private password will it make it more secure?
Maybe not everyone wants to be their own bank...

Pussy
8837  Other / Off-topic / Re: Strange noise coming from the sky on: December 10, 2012, 03:36:37 PM
I said UFO sightings you muppet, that doesn't necessarily mean aliens, for all we know it could be military prototypes being tested that people are all seeing.
8838  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Using renewable energy to mine? on: December 10, 2012, 09:24:33 AM
LMAO I'll get the Ministry of Defence visiting me if I try that Sad Tongue
8839  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Using renewable energy to mine? on: December 10, 2012, 08:51:30 AM
Never tried it before but it sounds like fun lol Tongue The problem with me is I have plenty of ideas I want to try but I need my own plot of land and a bit of cash to do it, so that's what I'm working on right now, trouble is that the coming depression is making things pretty difficult.
8840  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Using renewable energy to mine? on: December 10, 2012, 07:36:19 AM
LOL I think I'm getting obsessive about Science now, I know fuck all about equations etc. but I find it really interesting, I wonder if it's possible to just experiment with this stuff through trial and error? Here's something I found on Thorium Liquid Fueled Reactors just now.

http://slowfacts.wordpress.com/2011/08/27/thorium-nuclear-reactors/

Imagine having one of these babies hooked up to a Bitcoin farm Cheesy..... I think I could build that actually with my limited knowledge of welding... All I'd need is some Thorium.....
