901  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] Topps Allen & Ginter Reference Thread on: September 30, 2018, 08:02:21 PM
Is anyone else here doing BGS grading on all the various types of 83 cards? I've never done it before and not sure how to label the cards on the form etc.    Huh

Thanks

Personally I prefer PSA over BGS.  BGS gives out 10's like they're giving out candy, so the graded 10's end up not being as rare vs PSA 10.  Just my thoughts from the things I've read on forums.

I assume this is a reproduction giclee print on canvas approved by Trevor Jones. Did he also sign the COA?

It is.  His original oil on canvas has now sold (at around 6k pounds I think it was?), and he's partnered up with us to offer a reproduction of it on canvas limited to 21.

Please check his Tweet for confirmation:  https://twitter.com/trevorjonesart/status/1042826858319040514

The cert is simply signed Lynx, with the details noted that the art is created by Trevor Jones and offered exclusively through Lynx Art Collection.

by the way, for more pics, there's about six different pictures of the physical completed canvas on our page here:

905  Economy / Collectibles / to the community - Re: quality, standing behind products, & TeeGumes false FB on: September 26, 2018, 01:17:51 AM
Some people may think I shouldn't post this, should move on and not pay attention to it, but I choose to do so because the community should hear my voice on both the subject of TeeGumes as well as our own products.

I have done business with multiple, multiple people in this community and none of these issues have ever arose.  This is clearly targeted harrassment because TeeGumes did not get his free panel.  He said himself in his other comment reply "had you sent me the free one (and let him keep the other), I would have bought more things."

After TeeGumes decided to leave me negative feedback because I would not send him a free item, I figured it was best to not only expose this behavior, but inform you of our company, our products, and me and my family's stance behind these products.

First and foremost, TeeGumes had a 'slight print error, but not very noticeable' (quoting), and we told him he could mail it back and we'd send a free replacement (typical protocol).  He then said he wouldnt worry about it, that he really liked the piece, would keep it, and that we could send him the new 'Roots of Energy' panel for free, to "make up for it."  Sorry, but that is not how returns worked.  So this escalated to him leaving negative feedback and making false claims that "panels warp."  One panel has slightly warped out of hundreds sold.  This was from BitcoinNewsMagazine's panel after he placed it under an AC vent.  We mentioned we'd be more than happy to stand by the product and issue a replacement or a refund on this, as well.

and this quote is inaccurate:
"Buyers have had to craft their own straightening mechanisms"

No.  One buyer did, BitcoinNewsMagazine.  None of the other 200+ metal panel buyers have had to craft anything.  Nor have complained to me about anything.  I do imagine if you directly blow cold air on aluminum, it has the possibility of bending.  That does not mean that having the aluminum inside your air conditioned home will cause the panel to warp.

I find it very odd that TeeGumes (of all people) has a panel that has suddenly warped directly after I refused to send him a separate item as a replacement.

About Us:

My wife and I started our company in 2012 and began offering space and science artwork, eventually travel, quotes, etc.  We partnered up with large sites like Touch of Modern, Art.com, Space.com, Discovery Channel, and more.  I've worked my butt off attending tons of conventions across the country and have met thousands of smiling customers.  And over the years we've been featured in numerous press articles and have shipped thousands upon thousands of posters and now hundreds of canvases and metal panels.

I'm sorry that TeeGumes does not "believe" our items have ever sold out.  I find that a bit funny.  You can go to the website and search by "best selling" to see which items are selling the quickest.  Not to mention a lot of our pieces are partnered with other artists.  They are owed proceeds.  It would make no sense for me to sell only one item and pay them their net profits for all ten that "never sold."  This is very silly.

We stand behind our products 100%.  I have a 7-day return policy on all of our work.  So if you open your box, as he says, and you are not happy with your piece, you can send it back for a full refund.

I've never once denied a refund or a replacement to a customer in six years of operating this business.  Not one single time.  My wife and I believe in quality control, positivity, and high customer service.  This is rare to find from a company and that's why we choose to be different than others.

I'd also like to say I got into Bitcoin because it is my PASSION.  I did not get into Bitcoin because I'm here to crank out a buck.  If you do not understand this, you simply do not know me, my morals, or previous achievements.  I wholeheartidly believe that Bitcoin is the answer to inflation and the answer to poverty.  I understand fiat, that it is backed by 'faith', and simply cannot survive. And thus I believe that creating artwork for this space allows for further eyeballs and further adoption.  For example, we've had people come into our home (such as pest control), comment on pieces in our office and say "Is that that Bitcoin thing?" and then we get into a discussion about it and I get the opportunity to explain to them what it actually is, outside of the Media's fake story pushes.  And that is adoption.  In addition, I've bought thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of collectibles right here on this forum.  So clearly, I'm not here just to sell things.

When you attack my business, you attack not only me, but my wife as well, and our integrity.  We have always done the right thing by our customers and have always remained professional along the way.  We have gone above and beyond for our customers.

We will continue to create, build, and help contribute to the adoption of Bitcoin and the crypto-space as a whole.

You'll find there are many proiminent people in the Bitcoin space that own our artwork or have happily stood beside it and praised it.

Here's some fun pictures:

Andreas with our Andreas artwork, that he himself approved:

At the end of the day, it's very difficult to run a business.  I personally spend at least 14-16 hours working on Lynx per day.  Whether that is through marketing, customer relations, packaging and shipping, printing and manufacturing, or whatever it may be.  I respond to all e-mails within just an hour because I'm that dedicated to what I do.

The most recent pieces will wrap up our offerings until closer to December, along with a fun Black Friday promo item we have prepared for this community (and several giveaways along the way).

I wish you all the best and I look forward to bringing you more beautiful pieces over the next several years.

Kind Regards,

Frank & Nikki
906  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD OUT] 'Digital Gold' Art Panel (HODL Crypto Partnership), Limited to 10 on: September 25, 2018, 04:03:43 PM
Here you go.

Full disclosure so this community can finally see who you really are.

https://i.imgur.com/sWD5u6M.png

I stand by what I said 100%. As I am an international customer and used a reshipper I incurred extra costs which would have made it easier just to have a new piece sent out. Your solution of "slap a USPS label on it ezpz" just doesn't work, but you weren't concerned about that. If you had ended up repaying me for the customs/duty/reshipper fees then you'd end up losing money which is why I suggested you just send me another piece, I pay my reshipper and customs/duty fees again for something that ISN'T the exact same thing I had already paid for. I was going for a suggestion of "ease" which there shouldn't have been any problem about. You printing a design on a piece of metal and sending it to me should cost the same amount as you printing the EXACT same picture I had already had on the EXACT same size sheet of metal, there would have been zero difference and it would have led to me having more Lynx Art Collection pieces on my wall which people would see and go "hey where can I get one those those are pretty neat". This is what leads me to believe you never did sell out of these. You have one sitting around and it would have been easier to sign it with my number and send it to me (no extra printing cost because it's sitting in your office, but on the website its "sold out"). Purely speculation but it just seems real off that you wouldn't want more of your art seen on a customer's wall.

Refer to my now Negative Trust rating left for you, sharing private communications between customer/business is a nono. I am so thankful I used a reshipper as I wouldn't put it past you and your company to dox someone or keep addresses if this is how you are acting sharing private communications.

Now you're claiming I would do things that I never would do, like doxing people.  Weird.

And your replacement would have been marked gift with an included note that said it was a replacement for a damaged item that you already paid customs duties on.  I clearly stated that there would be "absolutely no charge to you."  was even willing to pay the return shipping charge.

You are being completely unreasonable.

If you decide you'd like to return it for a refund, you let me know.  I will still stand beside that regardless of your putdowns.

I've let you reply.  So I'm locking this thread now.

Full disclosure so this community gets to see things objectively:

908  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD OUT] 'Digital Gold' Art Panel (HODL Crypto Partnership), Limited to 10 on: September 25, 2018, 03:46:07 PM
No problem now. Sheet aluminum can be sensitive to temperature changes and the slight warping might be due to my chosen mounting location. I get many compliments on the piece from friends and it is not going anywhere but I do appreciate your standing behind your products 100%. I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Thank you.  Smiley  Happy to hear you get lots of compliments on it

IMO I am probably not the only customer who may experience panel warping. With respect: consider instead of just using four mounting blocks glue half inch thick hardwood mounting strips routing the top one for mounting. Suggested design drawn in red. The mounting strips should not add much weight at all and would completely stiffen the panel, should prevent anyone else experiencing the warping I had. Just a thought.

Have you addressed/fixed the problem here frankbitcoin? Nowhere on your website do I see a disclaimer that this may happen to these high quality metal sheets. ($899)

At least now people don't look at the offcenter image on mine, they just see the ends curling up and the crease forming in the middle of the bottom.

Edit: Oh retalitory feedback aswell.. including quotes from private messages. Interesting.

That was not retalitory feedback.  It was feedback because you left me neutral feedback after I clearly said I would replace your panel.  For free.

You then said you wanted a different design for free and that you'd "just keep the one you had."  Sorry, but returns do not work that way.

You then called me a prick and told me to f off.... after I offered to remedy your issue ... at no charge...

A bit odd, no?

And honestly I'd almost venture to say that you bent yours intentionally to make this post.

I have 20 of these panels hanging in our office and have absolutely no issues.

Quoted so you can't ninja delete this.

quoted again.  I have no reason to delete this.  You're childish, volatile, and a threat to this community to be quite honest.

I suggest no one does business with you.  I'll go ahead and post up the conversation where you told me to screw myself after I offered a replacement.
909  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD OUT] 'Digital Gold' Art Panel (HODL Crypto Partnership), Limited to 10 on: September 25, 2018, 03:43:10 PM
And it should be noted that we've now sold these panels to hundrends of customers and, the only time we received this complaint, was from BitcoinNewsMagazine who said he had placed his directly under an AC blower vent.  And, now, ironically, from you, the one customer who has given me one of the hardest times on this forum.

I said I'd replace your previous concern, which you said was a slight alignment issue.  I said I'd do that for free.

And I'm still happy to have you mail this back for a full refund.

I stand behind my products and will always continue to do so.

Here's an image of some panels that have been hanging in our home for nearly two months now.  Taken down so you can get a good look.

I notice nothing:

911  Economy / Collectibles / [NEW!] HODL Crypto, The Separation of Money And State Art, Limited to 11 on: September 25, 2018, 02:33:59 PM
I am thrilled to share this one with you all.  It is one of my absolute favorite pieces we've released to date.

This piece will begin shipping on October 1st, 2018!  Order now to reserve yours before it is sold out!  Our last currency-related pieces from HODL Crypto went in just a matter of days!

We are pleased to present our latest piece in collaboration with HODL Crypto - 'The Separation of Money And State.'

This metal panel is limited to a production of only 11, never to be offered on this medium again.  Each panel is hand signed and numbered on the back.  Panel measures 20"x30" inch and includes 1/2" wood spacers to allow it to sit away from the wall.  Panels are highly reflective.

The quote created by us and HODL Crypto that is placed in the center of the artwork reads as follows:

The Freedom to CHOOSE YOUR MONEY is one of the most fundamental freedoms we can have in any free society. When money is used as a form of censorship, it leads to the formation of sovereign entities with immense power and influence over the people through total currency control. Those who control the money devalue it through the intentional inflation of printed currencies, and in doing so, have influenced the perceived value of the people’s time and energy. The issuing power of money should not be controlled by banking institutions, but rather by the people whom it serves. As the people have fallen under the domination of total currency control, they have been crushed under the burden of debt and have long sought after a viable escape. This escape has come in the form of provable and irrefutable math through Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s monetary policy is written in open-source code and it has displaced the banking system’s monopoly on the control of money with a new system of decentralized, censorship resistant, and cryptographically secure currencies. Bitcoin gives people the freedom to transact globally and effortlessly, without the need for a third party control system, fear of censorship, or revocation of rights. When people use Bitcoin, they are choosing a new paradigm which restores the people’s fundamental right to a money free from the control of the state. The time has come for the separation of money and state.
