This eBay seller have the best tamper evident security labels available so far, he also does custom prints http://myworld.ebay.com/labelogixusa

If I will get the paper sizes and quantity I can get approximate printing cost.
902  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY: 5+BTC] Open Source (CC) Paper Wallet Kit for safe offline coin storage on: March 21, 2013, 08:22:28 PM
I have friend who is manager in printing shop. I will ask about prices and formats supported. Probably minimum quantity of prints as well.

The main production are eco paper bags but I guess the production line can be adjusted for making various other paper items and kits.

The greatest threat to security for paper wallets are printer memory and insecurity of computer managing the keys. Printers sometimes store the data in own memory. Some printer firmware can be rewritten by anyone on local network. Making paper kit for bitcoin storage is not going to solve any noob problems.

TL;DR

With such large botnet he could become bitcoin billionaire in few weeks. Probably he got aspergers in severe form with slight addition of down syndrome. Pursuing narrow and complicated interest and then screw it all over by simply creating graphic representation of network instead of creating gigantic botnet for fun and profit.

Slowly the times of government oppression return, this time in western world. Will be like soviet union under stalin, yezhov and beria.

Quite likely. Meanwhile, Russia is getting freer. I feel like I'm in an alternate universe.
Not true. Russia always was oppressive and unjust under any rule (tzar, commies, yeltsin, putin). Russia is just lagging behind western nation in some aspects of totalitarianism. Like the password to encrypted files will be beaten out by phonebook instead asked by judge under threat of imprisonment.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing BTC/LTC long term in safe deposit box on: March 21, 2013, 05:07:19 PM
Using flash drives or solid state drives for years is not good idea. Flash cells discharges over time and slowly lose data. According to paper released by HP the time can be from few months with worn SSD drives written in elevated ambient temperature to 8 years (for SLC flash drives) from my own experience. Contrary good quality CD-R stored in controlled environment have lasted 15 years and counting.

Take a look at Armory client with the deterministic wallet paper backup. Print many copies and store them in separate places.

Storing anything in bank is not good idea. It can be confiscated by government, stolen by robbers or destroyed in fire. Hide the paper backups in old way like deposits of gold.

Both are, relative to fiat currency, inconvenient for day to day use
Bitcoin is more convenient to use than anything else. Buying pizza or ganja from your computer without going anywhere and without any fees. Far more convenient than cash.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THIS IS NOT WHAT BITCOIN WAS MADE FOR! on: March 21, 2013, 04:04:31 PM
This is nothing to be worried about. Game crack or launcher will void any DRM. I don't understand why the bitcoin technology is even needed because with unmodified install the plain old client-server model will be as good as it can be.

If the client is cracked, it can install and launch without any network communication and other artificial restrictions. End of all problems.
909  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Ufasoft Coin - Multi-currency Open Source client for Windows on: March 18, 2013, 04:06:43 PM
Ufasoft Coin every time gives unhandled exception error when closing Coin main window while downloading and synchronizing chains. I don't know is this caused by bug in program or weak hardware (Pentium4 2.8GHz 512RAM) that takes too long to close client because it trashes like mad due to 512 MB RAM.
910  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is the core group of developers on: March 18, 2013, 03:29:58 PM
No he is not!
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nope, we're not using a decentralized protocol yet, just a piece of software on: March 18, 2013, 11:46:44 AM
You are wrong about one client. Ufasoft Coin also is full validating node and miner too.

913  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anti-Planned Obsolescence Hoodies on: March 18, 2013, 04:19:30 AM
I need something similar for socks.

My socks don't wear out - but I always lose one. I'd like socks that are quantum entangled, so I'll always be able to find a pair.
Probably then You will lose both socks simultaneously or they will change the lost/not lost state by simply observing them.
914  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you you want someone to prove they are Satoshi? on: March 18, 2013, 03:44:38 AM
Posting from Satoshi's forum account signed message with Satoshi's PGP key is best way to do it.
915  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 2^256 Deep Space Vagabond aka the Lost Bitcoin Finder on: March 18, 2013, 01:54:27 AM
Sandboxie is crap. With default configuration it does not prevent the malware from accessing and reading files on hard drive and doing other things such as stealing wallet file. It only prevents from file creation or system modification. Run any untrusted code in virtual machine such as VMware.
916  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Do you watch TV? on: March 15, 2013, 11:36:24 PM
I don't watch TV. I download series and movies I'm interested in from private torrent trackers and watch on PC. Read news stories on internet. I really don't need that advertising and brainwashing machine.

Used bitcoin.conf to add peers without success. Renamed to ixcoin.conf and it worked! My old RAID0 Raptors are on the way to destruction as blockchain is downloaded. Nice sound.
919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FREE IXCOINS IXCOIN GIVEAWAY! on: March 15, 2013, 10:43:25 PM
I cannot connect to ixcoin network. Can somebody please give me IP and port of running node?
920  Other / Off-topic / Re: Watermelon flavor? on: March 15, 2013, 10:21:25 PM
I have never tasted artificial watermelon taste sweets and bubble gums that taste like real, naturally grown high quality watermelon. I think this means that the artificial flavors are not good at the job.
