341  Other / Off-topic / SHA256 checksum of Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.117 on: November 03, 2013, 04:36:14 AM
This might sound as odd question but can some well known members here post checksums for full installer of latest Adobe Flash Player? The plugin version full installer, not the web installer crap. And sign the message with known address they control.

presstv.ir works fine from here. https://www.youtube.com/user/PressTVvideos also have videos. I agree that sing 3-rd party service is bad. Self-hosting is the solution!

I only seen the original Pebble printer in action. It makes pretty good plastics. Yes they are expensive but they will return the investment in no time if they are used.....

Today homeschooling crackpots, tomorrow bitcoiners homes can be invaded. This is exact reason why every person should have FAL rifle ready at hand at all times. Legal or illegal does not matter as long as you are the person controlling the trigger.

Armed persons against children are overkill.

This is exactly the reason why NSA PRISM exists. People searching regular web for illegal advice.
347  Other / Off-topic / Re: This string crashes apple devices on: August 30, 2013, 10:43:40 PM
I wonder what would happen if some forum member with lots of posts would put that string in his signature  Grin
I think I won't recommend it xD
Done.
Oh wait....maybe I now have a virus......   Smiley
From what I read it will not allow memory access so there is no remote code execution possibility. So no virus for now.
348  Other / Off-topic / Re: Storage with 0% chance of failure? on: August 30, 2013, 02:14:53 AM
I recommend against flash storage because over years it can lose charge. I have 14 years old 1st generation CD-R that is still defect-free. And 15 years old floppy diskette that still have games on it that I played on 80306. But don't trust nothing more valuable than warez or porn to these devices. Nowadays they are of lesser quality.

Making multiple copies - one on CD and one on computer's harddrive is enough for every person who will not misplace or scratch CD or neglect the failing signs of harddrive.

Is there a "true" random password generator that can be done offline, from mouse entropy or something?
Keepass password generate function is great. Customize the password length and chars needed, collect entropy from mouse. Open source.

chances are... they know... who your mother is..  Tongue
now that's information worth governmental funding! I know who my mother is too!
350  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does the NSA know who Satoshi is? on: August 30, 2013, 01:37:30 AM
In game Battlefield 1942 there japanese bot called Satoshi. Forget his full name. Stop inventing deeper meaning to what was intended as cool sounding pseudonym. Like there is no really deeper meaning in Seppuku Fujitsu. But someone still might find a way to connect Seppuku Fujitsu to NSA Cheesy

If NSA knows who Satoshi is then it might be safer for him to reveal that to whole world.

Hmmm what could it be? Large MITM attack against SSL encrypted web traffic using certificates signed by root authorities? Pay millions $ to everyone involved to both keep enthusiastic and keep mouth shut. Thank You America!
352  Other / Off-topic / Re: Syrian uprising, what is it? on: August 29, 2013, 05:08:32 PM

P.S. I'm not against the fact of using a gas. In WW1 the gas was used by both sides. There is no difference as long as result is death of enemy. USA and Israel uses banned weapons and tactics all the time. Why everyone could not use the most effective means to kill enemy?

Poison gas is a horrible way to die. Generally, war is pretty horrible, but poison gas is even more painful than most ways to go. Perhaps we should just ban all forms of war and violence?
Not all gases are the same and plain old rifle can be just as horrible way to die. Maybe we should attempt to ban wars and violence in the same way than USSR attempted o ban a sex for pleasure?

The problem is not death or wars as long as the right side wins and all enemies are killed. Suffering is optional bonus that some enemies might deserve.
353  Other / Off-topic / Re: Syrian uprising, what is it? on: August 29, 2013, 05:05:20 PM
How wold you like if USSR would be still around and getting into wars just to show how powerful they are? Or Chinese doing the same?

Why USA and Israel is allowed to do shit that nobody else is doing?

PGP Web of Trust is for preventing use of "fake" keys. It is unnecessary for end-to-end encryption as long as the key fingerprints are verified offline or some other reasonably safe method.

Basics of GPG is no so difficult to understand. The problem is lack of software that uses it by default. To use it one need to install Thunderbird, configure POP3 access, then install GPG and then Enigmail. And configure all of this and store the e-mails on his own computer's harddrive. This process filters out large portion of users who don't care about maintenance of his computer or only use webmail from random computers.
GPG PGP has it's shortcomings also ....
Everything has it's shortcomings. When used properly GPG will protect the contents of the message. The sender and recipient still be known to NSA.

And since multiple messages are encrypted with the same static key, if the key is ever compromised, all prior communications are compromised.

It have easy solution - don't let the private key to be compromised! Seriously, if encryption secret key is compromised then it is game over.

How full of total lies yo can be?

Assad is democratically elected president. Assad is from Muslim Shia minority but he is secular president. Majority of Syrians are Sunni Muslims. Assad is backed by Iranian Shia regime and Hezbollah movement of Lebanon. Assad is anti-western and he is not a puppet of western world. This is why USA and Israel with all their puppet states wants him to be removed from office. They already succeeded in greatly reducing Syrian support and presence in Lebanon by killing Lebanese politician in false flag operation.

Living conditions in Syria is better than many parts of European Union. The war is fought because of ethnic and religious conflict. USA and their puppet states gives clandestine support to rebel groups no matter what they are fighting for as long as they are fighting against Assad. Some of the rebels are even ready to eat heart of killed pilot.

The uprisings succeeded in Libya and Egypt. They already attempted the same in Iran but it got crushed really fast. The Syria is holding up desperately and it is no surprise that they used poison gas. Although I'm still 50-50 who used the gas or was not it a USA or Israeli false flag operation.

P.S. I'm not against the fact of using a gas. In WW1 the gas was used by both sides. There is no difference as long as result is death of enemy. USA and Israel uses banned weapons and tactics all the time. Why everyone could not use the most effective means to kill enemy?

1) Most everyone around us already wears pants. Anyone who doesn't faces social (and probably legal) repercussions.
2) Most everyone has been taught to wear pants from a very young age. It has become habituated.
3) There are advertisements everywhere making most everyone think that they will be sexually desirable if they wear the right pants.
4) Most everyone already has a pretty good idea how to use pants.
1) Some of them will find it in hard way that encryption is a must. Our president's adviser found it in hard way http://www.dzeltenais.lv/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/rgle.png and this is he most decent picture that was copied from her hacked e-mail.
2. Let's teach our children how to use encryption from very young age. Let us be the last generation of neanderthals who run around without pants!
3. Let's advertise that 4096-bit RSA keys are more sexy than 2048 ones!
4. Using PGP is not harder than squeezing into pants. At least for person with 130+ IQ

and keep all your vmware or virtualbox images inside truecrypt containers

Why? If my host OS is compromised everything is goatsed. I use full disk encryption in case of hardware theft. Additional layers of encryption inside this full disk one are pointless, it degrades convenience and performance with no real additional security.
