Ethereum is the biggest smart contract platform with the most people working on it. That alone would be reason enough for me to stay there.
There is a decent chance, that the reason why ethereum looks so full of holes is, that it's constantly in the spotlight and a lot of eyes are examining it closely. Take a coin like counterparty, give it a billion dollar market cap and as many people working on it as ethereum and see how many flaws you will find then.
Just because something doesn't look broken, doesn't mean that it isn't. Maybe you just didn't look closely enough.
Completely agreed, this is how you make things work but well there are a lot of speculators, fud and obviously "bad" news that influence the short term price. Long term we all know that Ethereum is something special and could even overtake Bitcoin or make it obsolete. Not Ethereum itself but all its tokens and ecosystem could render some technologies useless. We know Bitcoin is still king but it hasn't made much progress in terms of adoption and popularity, blocks are full, plenty of different camps. Even if it's rallying right now, we all know it's temporary. The future is full of doubts, we can have Ethereum at $100 and Bitcoin at $2000 and beyond in 2017-18 or nothing at all since crypto projects still can't seem to come up with the killer app for the average user or company. Once that happens (if it happens) then I'm sure we'll all be very wealthy as early adopters of many of these projects. |

This game between Cleveland Cavaliers v Portland Trail Blazers will be close game. Any team which will be the winner is going to have narrow margin to win. Portland Trail Blazers are capable to turn the table that is what stops me to go for mainline. Under 218.5 points @1.80 odds is of what alternative I didn't find for the game.
I agree, Cleveland is playing great but it has been very laid back in some of their games. Lebron is playing well below his playoff efforts and that's understandable but it's also a major liability. Kevin Love on the other hand is doing great. I watched the Blazers last night against the Knicks and they fought hard all game, and it would be a back to back game so keep that in mind in your bets tonight. Lebron's playing performance might be related on how he is tired on playing the game and he just want to play his full game on the playoffs, I also read something about him not starting anymore , even though he is the youngest in the all-time scoring list he doesn't wanna be known for just being a scorer but to be the #1 Champion of all time. And I know he is in favor of reducing 82 games to 62 games a season. For an athlete he is tired of playing games. Wow I didn't know about him considering not starting. Reducing 82 to 62 is completely understandable, the season is too long and it becomes tedious, especially with such disparity among the teams. I think he will continue to start but he will actually play 20 games less kinda like you said. He already rested against the Pacers last week and I think he will continue to rest every 10 games or during busy schedule weeks. |

BTC rally seems to be over. What happens to FCT now?
Pump? I dont see that. To tell u the truth, I do not even know what need to happen for FCT to pumps up again big time. Cause all great news seem to have no effect at all. Its certainly strange that FCT didnt pump when good news was ann but I think its the case for most of the altcoins. Maybe its all related to the bitcoins rise? Now that the price is settling and if M2 and exodus wallet will be implemented then I think we can see a good pump. No one wants to let go of their precious BTC, many think it will pass 1k or whatever. It's just a pump and dump like any other altcoin experiences, Bitcoin is not immune. No real adoption or world usage, improved tech, good news, etc. Just some countries experiencing economic troubles and speculators going at it. It will go back to low 600s before the end of the year and settle around $650 (it would be another year of profit and growth though!) |

this will for sure LAC play great and Sacramento is far from glory days brt options I good and safe by me The Kings just can't figure out how to play consistenly. I think they are just wasting the talents of Demarcus Cousins. They change coach every so often and the players just come and go. They would be better off just trading Boogie away and do a rebuild from top to bottom. Even if it is the home of Sacramento that they will play at, the Clippers would surely look to bounce back from that sorry lost against the Grizzlies. If I could place a bet I would say that Boogie will be traded before the end of the year and it will be a major shock to the league since he could really help a couple of teams achieving a whole new level (especially in the East). Even some up & coming west teams would be a force to reckon with if they can get him. It's time for Sacramento to move forward and let him go already similar to what happen with Minnesota and Kevin Love. Well, if that happens, another power team will be build. What if this guy will team up with Lebron? Is there a chance you can see this happening? On the other hand, I just love what the Rockets have been showing lately and I hate what the Jazz has been doing. Damn, I though Jazz was for real but their losing streak discourage me lot, it makes me think now that Lakers are a better team than them. There were some talks before the start of the season with a trade involving Kevin Love but we all know that's not true. Plus Love is playing great so far, almost averaging +20ppg and +10rpg. I was thinking more along the lines of a Oklahoma, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Portland, Toronto...those kind of teams that are good but not good enough. Having someone like Cousins without giving up too much would be a major shift. I don't really him going to one of the top fours teams (Clippers, Cavs, Warriors and Spurs). |

On my Mac the web wallet just did not sync.

Actually this is only half the truth. Ethereum has lost little value in US dollars, right. But it has lost much value in Bitcoin. And Bitcoin is the benchmark in cryptoland. Yes of course that's pretty obvious already, ATH of 0.0380 seems so far right now. But oh well, the bottomline is that it's basically fiat which devalues compared to crypto. |

All we need M2 with exodus wallet release then da moon,yum yum.  , My guess is that will take us to around 0.005, real moon is much later when entry credit usage goes through the roof and factoid supply gets sucked up. Agree,in short term your target likely to be happened, not selling a single piece but mid long term 2-3 yrs l ll consider selling a portion. Factom is a solid long term investment imo. 2020 is will be the year for crypto in general to get a healthy mass adaption. good luck. If Bitcoin ever passes the 1k barrier for good and crypto projects start to actually get adopted by companies and used by real, average people I think we'll all be very wealthy no matter the project (well obscure and shitcoins will fail most likely...). Bitcoin at $2000, Factom at $50, Ethereum at $100, etc. And those are very conservative numbers at the start of the real bubble. If crypto truly is the next new/hot thing and not just hype and vaporware, owning 2-3 BTC in both BTC and strong altcoins will most likely makes us rich and that's no hype, it's a fact(om). |

The whole Ethereum project is still doing its first steps and will continue to stumble for quite a while. However the price didn't drop as much as expected and I doubt we'll see sub $5 anytime soon or ever. The reason is that many recognize that even if it's a long shot, Ethereum is one of the only project (gathering a lot of young, smart and genius level people) which can become huge. Accesible prices to easily hoard more than 500-1000 ETH won't be available in my opinion unless something catastrophic happens (and we had the DAO already which merely eroded the price...).

wut? Anyway, I requested the ICN/USD pairing at Kraken and they got back to me already saying that it's being considered but not in the near term. I think Iconomi and Kraken are planning something big once the platform is released, Iconomi will be mostly used worlwide and Kraken will take care of it for US investors, something along those lines. |

Hey guys, i'm so bullish on Bitcoin right now and i think we're at the beginning of a strong demand of Bitcoin. I've got the feeling that by summer BTC is around 1500 usdollar. In this bullrun alts are going down faster than i expected even in dollarprice what's up with that? Miners sell all their alts to get a lot of BTC because mining BTC is too hard. My Question to you guys, if Bitcoin becomes mainstream will Iconomi be able to pay dividends at all? Also the 15 procent cap of one crypto is a question to me it would be much better now for the iconomi index to own a lot of BTC right, why the 15 procent. The index is in a downtrend and if i'm right and BTC continues to go higher also the index will go lower and the price of ICN will go lower.
The idea of an crypto indexfund is great but if Iconomi will keep the boundries of the 15 procent i really don't know.
Bitcoin holds about 85% of the value of all blockchains why not in the Iconomi index? If people outside crypto would invest in iconomi it will be more attractive to buy ICN if it holds more BTC. In the end it is all about making money for the ICN holdlers right so maybe let's rethink the 15% cap of one blockchain. If Iconomi was more in BTC the Iconomi Index would be lot higher.
People at work know me as the Bitcoinguy and more and more people starting to get interested and asks questions how to buy BTC, other things like Ethereum they can hardly understand i can tell. It took me 3 years to get some of my colleages the get some BTC but finally there is some motion in the right direction. For the rest of my coworkers i think it will take about 5 more years depending on what the price of BTC does.
The thing about Bitcoin as the currency i like , it's money where the rules and supply are clear and this is easy to explane to most people and if the price goes up it's even better and it will attract more people to this crypto world.

I doubt Bitcoin would even hit $900, $800 maybe. It's just a pump based on some real world issues and demand but it will be short lived, Bitcoin can't even scale for mass adoption. And the price is very fragile, a hong kong exchange hack bring its price to its knees in a second. Recently an almost bogus article regarding chinese regulation. The only way Bitcoin will break 1k again would be with some actual game changing development or news, if not it will be around $600-800 for a while. The stock market has been pretty bullish lately while doomsayers are silent... |

People should realize that this is a coin/token to hold for long term. If you decide to hold it, be smart and do it at least until the roadmap finishes, that is march/april 2017. Right now the team is ahead of schedule.
The focus of Stratis is on the blockchain for banking, (multinational) companies and government. Those who still don't know what they are trading with it is going to be a token for a ready to use all in one packet fully coded in c language. And on the platform with these tokens they can code, test and deploy their blockchain programs in just about every computer language there is. In order words Stratis is like Lisk but way bigger. Lisk only focuses on java language. 10 to 15% of the banks want to make use of blockchain technology in 2017. They don't have the knowledge and tools yet, Stratis will provide that for them.
Costs and time will be reduced that way for everybody. Just think of the potential alone..
Yes that's correct and banks or companies (Stratis can be used even for book keeping purposes, small to big companies) don't need to mess with crypto, similar to Factom they will buy the service (EC in Factom and STRATS) directly with fiat. One doubt I have is how the price of Strats will affect the business side. In Factom I know entry credits have a very small fixed price so companies can buy as many as they need without being too expensive. Anyone can clarify how this would work in Stratis? |
