9162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: February 25, 2018, 07:42:49 AM
I know we all can make a good profit when markets are going up but since last, one-month markets are down. So how is your portfolio is doing and are you selling or holding?
just watching everything since i have nothing to do th this dump, but today its getting worst because after recovery and hitting $12,000 now dropping again at $9,000 i really dont know whats this mean.because unstable and unpredictable the movement of all coins now
9163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: February 25, 2018, 06:43:44 AM
This is a mistake a lot of us make. If you track btc every minute you are more prone to panic selling. Btc has a lot of ups and downs, if you are in it long term the short price has little meaning
wow this is just a simply but valuable advice,as myself always checking price everytime i have a chance and right,i mostly tempted to sell on panic and that attitude makes me do such action, having this in my mind now will help me lessen the chance of thinking this kind of issues.thanks to you mate for this one
9164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 25, 2018, 06:36:16 AM
I have been investing in cryptocurrency for 5 months . I am buying some icos and holding coins. I started with 5000 usd. And sometimes my balance went up to 30k and down to 12k . I feel very uncomfortable when my balance is dropped.
So i want to know is there any strategy to protect your balance before the dump?
Anyone can help please.
Thank you so much.
you ok?if we does do you think we will have some losses?no one knows everything even dumping or pumping, the volatility of cryptocurrency is the main reason why this kind of things are being denied for us.i wish someday we can find ways to have access in such,so we can manage losses and winnings.
9165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good bounty campaign to start right now on: February 25, 2018, 06:19:43 AM
Please suggest some bounty campaign name to start. I want to participate from the week 1 or 2 (if possible ) .

Question:
Is there any website to detect the actual running bounty campaign .
what do you mean actual running bounty campaign?and why needed a website?you can check thousands of bounty campaign via. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 There you can find all the bounty campaigns thats going now.though you need to be more observant in regards to choosing respective campaign, and the managers that would be running the campaign, reliability is the key to find a good one
9166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 25, 2018, 06:07:33 AM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?

As you mentioned many are selling altcoins to buy bitcoins. I'm one of those. Because altcoins in my opinion only for savings/sideline and because i only focus my budget into bitcoin. But not all altcoins i sell so fast, one of them Ethereum. I make Ethereum the second coin i care about most and Ethereum is also what i make as trading. Bitcoin i will use completely when the price reaches $35000, after that i will make Ethereum as my main coin and Bitcoin as trading.
what if bitcoin didnt reach $35,000?for i think another five years?can you still survive?never put high speculation because we really dont know what would be the price in future, and that expected amount is really too big for holders to wait,i am a bitcoin supporter and my folios fund is half in biticoin.but i dont want to wait for a hige pump,i am contented even to gain atleast 30-50% for my holdings, and i will again when price drops
9167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 25, 2018, 05:46:24 AM
Hard time haven't passed yet so I would recommend you to wait for a couple of week. It would be more safe for your investment.
yups, since as of today prices is really unstable i guess even if the payments of the reward for ico has been distributed but when it comes to the market the price would dump all the way.so better wait for atleast couple of weeks or a month for the market gets stabilized
9168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im afraid of Hackers/Scammers! on: February 25, 2018, 05:02:38 AM
Hey guys.Im a newbie on crypto world. However i started doing my first money 1 year ago using e personal method. However i have improved and now i have like 4-5k worth of alt which i keep on exchange wallets. Are they safe?Or should i get anther wallet?

And yes,I have 100 % secured with email, number ,long password and 2FA but im still afraid
i guess its better for you to keep it on multiple wallets and exchange.the more you keep the safer you will have, since hacker is always on the run so better we must have precautionary measures and this way for me is the safest way, this is what i have doing now
9169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: February 25, 2018, 02:45:32 AM
I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.  Huh
How about you, YES OR NOR ?   Huh
nah, maybe theres some of them are scams but the totality is bringing big income to us,inhave known lots of bounty hunters had been richer now because of participating in icos either investors or campaign participants
9170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: February 25, 2018, 12:52:50 AM
Avoid, new precedent trying to be set, the more people the give in, then you'll have to give you info out for every single airdropped/bounty out there.
It's very dangerous for you to trust these non-reputable individuals with your information and for the future of cryptos as a whole, yet no one is discussing this.

You can blame Polymath for this, they don't want to work harder filter to filter puppets, so instead they want your ID.

Edit: There is probably nothing we can do to stop this, because the vast majority of people trying to do airdrops are very likely to hand over their info without a second thought. This has major repercussions, some of the worst repercussions we will see ever in crypto.

The best thing you can do if you're reading this, is to not give in to these new information whores, who are more than likely to flip your IDs on the darkweb for a profit.
never thought about this, just now having read this things..why was not th topic being tackled when every single details about segwit has done explaining.and this kyc about bounties not?mate was right  that this should be addressed as the future is the target of this issue.wondering after 5 years more accounts will cry about being hacked.
9171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Checking crypto prices on: February 24, 2018, 03:46:20 PM
94% of those who own crypto currencies check them daily. I'm interested to see who often most prople here check.
why are you interested if how or when we check our cryptocurrencies?will this answers change the way you look in everythings?will your world becomes wealthier becausof this?i checked my funds every seconds would you believe it?lol
9172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC right now on: February 24, 2018, 03:15:57 PM
What is your take on BTC as of right now? Are you buying, selling or waiting?
If you are waiting, which price are you waiting for?

I am waiting for BTC to break 9,5k or to go through 7,5k. If it goes through 7,5k I'll wait to see where it ends. Above 9,5k I am in.
it does 7.5k anit even got to 6.6k in the last drop.so if you follow your expectations maybe you earned 80% when the price hit 12k ,hope so because i did it.but now I don know what to do since the price cant even stabilized in 1 week for a certain price.
9173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: has trading become difficult? on: February 24, 2018, 02:54:03 PM
These days the bitcoin prices are rising and falling over 1000$ in just minutes and have become highly unpredictable way more than before.
Does this make trading more difficult right now?
are you using bitcoin for daytrading?well if does thats a difficult trading i guess since bitcoin is best for holding not for trading.and price of all coins are really unpredictable because if we can predict the prices maybe all of us a richer now dont you think
9174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the worst trading decision you've ever made? on: February 24, 2018, 02:33:14 PM
My worst trading decision ever is when I sell my gvt token at a low price and after a couple of hours the price start to pump up and now the price hit up to 20$ Im so mad that time because I miss the opportunity to earn a huge profit, now I learn the leason holding is the best way you can do if you want to earn good profit. Hahaha
sad to hear that mate, but its part of investment to fail..and holding today is riskier than the past because more of the ico now wasnt concern about the token, instead only concerns for the profit after the token hit the market, they were just selling all the tokens and then leave all behind
9175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can we convert ETH to BTC with less transaction fees on: February 24, 2018, 09:36:39 AM
You want to exclude any fee that is not necessary so basically anything but network fees and since exchanges have trading and withdrawal fee, It would be better to trade with individuals from the forums directly instead of using a service.
this is one good point, but in this way escrow will be needed, ofcoure you dont want to deal with scammers since you only want to convert ethereum to bitcoin.and the wallet transfer has a big bee rtoo.other than that those legitimate exchanges.
9176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: February 24, 2018, 09:25:48 AM
Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 10 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ??   Huh

and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly"
you know what mate?what i can suggest you is READ AND RESEARCH first before putting such kind of thread like this.dont you even know that bitcoin was accepted by japan and i guess Russian.but the best thing is more countries not banning bitcoin instead supporting
9177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: February 24, 2018, 08:46:04 AM
I have 20$ of bitcoin. What should i do with it instead of spending all.Tell me Pls. Cheesy
Have an advise for you bro! As long as you've bought only for 20$, go and find some money and buy more Grin
this one comments made me laugh, but the truth is this is the most reliable devices,$20 dollars is nothing and should not expect from this amount.so whats better is find more funds to added investments ai can find the trust i OPs part towards bitcoin
9178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: February 24, 2018, 08:29:16 AM
What will happen??

No one will have the BTC address. Hence will them isolated?

In FIAT, people can handover money to someone.. So, i predict BTC will be disappeared gradually.
if a person died with bitcoin, the coins will die together with him.unless he entrusted the passwords of the funds, and he had told those trusted pern about claiming or withdrawing the accounts .but much better if they will continue the legacy of the dead person
9179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: February 24, 2018, 07:45:08 AM

Seems many people treat bitcoin like an asset given how much it's gone up over the last year or so. But some academics disagree with that assessment. If it is to be treated as a currency, it will need to stabilize to be of use.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/24/nyus-dean-of-valuation-says-bitcoin-is-a-currency.html
i dont care what other people think or treat about bitcoin, but for me this is an asset and currency in one..asset because in time this can bring lots of earning most specially when the price pumps, and currency because anytime i can pay my bills using this and some online transactio
