921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: September 11, 2018, 06:19:35 AM
Crypto is the future but market due to a lot of reasons and mainly due to its volatility:

- crypto market as many other markets is based on offer and demand. In 2018 the offer remained pretty much the same but the demand is much lower than 2017
- whales manipulations
- bad news about crypto events
- overall feeling about crypto market. There is no more hype as last year
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market dropped on: September 11, 2018, 06:15:10 AM
When market drops it's interesting that investor's logical changes and bases on the following workflow:

- Denial: In this usually short-lived stage, investors express disbelief and incredulity. While temporarily denying reality, common responses include, "This can't be happening" and "I refuse to accept this." However, when reality hits home, most soon move on to think about the implications of "the event."

- Anger: At this stage, investors become outraged, angrily casting about for anyone to blame other than themselves. Often, they become swamped with helpless rage, protesting about the unfairness of the event and its harsh effect on their lives.

-Bargaining: For some, the third stage of grief is the most tragic, because bargaining gives investors false hope. At this point, many remarks begin ruefully with "If only I ... ," "I'll do anything for ... ," and similar pleas. In an attempt to avoid confronting their pain, investors promise to give their life and soul in a futile attempt to make a pact with fate and turn back time.

-Depression: Depression marks the beginning of the end of the grief process. Comments such as, "What's the point of going on?," "I can't live with this suffering," and "Why bother trying?" show a clear need to disconnect from the world and properly mourn. Often, depression is the longest stage of grief, with some investors taking years to clear this hurdle.

- Acceptance: Redemption arrives in the form of acceptance when investors finally come to terms with their loss. In this "light at the end of the tunnel" conclusion, they realize that life goes on and it's time for their struggle to end.

926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum just crashed 10% in 3 hours on: September 10, 2018, 06:05:11 AM
Ethereum is still an altcoin and it will behave more or less like most of the altcoins in a bearish market: they will lose their value more than Btc.

During bullish markets there are altcoins that can perform better than Ethereum. Try to have a look to non-ICO projects (one of them in my signature) and you will be surprised to discover that a lot of profit can be done if you choose new projects but with huge potential.

928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: September 07, 2018, 04:21:42 AM
Why some people want the Ethereum to over come Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profit from ETH or what?

Ethereum will never over come Bitcoin for at least some reasons:

- they are 2 different coins built to serve completely different reasons: if with Btc in some regions you can go anf buy a car (see BMW story), you cannot create smart contracts with it
- it's hard to believe that Ethereum or any other coin will benefit of the popularity Bitcoin be gained within years
- crypto market is cyclic. In bearish periods price of altcoins is much more affected than it can raise during bullish periods.
929  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will actually happen if bitcoin price continue to drop? on: September 07, 2018, 04:13:23 AM
Don't worry too much with the price of Bitcoin. It's the standard market cycle, and that's it.

No manipulation or other conspiracy (outside of the ways all markets are manipulated by traders/investors). Looking at the charts everything seems pretty normal. Volatility is high as it should be in a market of it's size. Price trend is still bearish which isn't surprising considering the minuscule amount of hype and discussion of crypto in mainstream areas thus not much new money flowing into the crypto markets (definitely not enough to support a change of trend).

Some traders are still managing to make money, and most newbies are getting rekt as they do in these conditions.

The good news is progress is being made on the tech end. Now that money isn't the main focus of all crypto discussions the devs can get back to innovating. It looks like there are lots of crypto ATM businesses that are still expanding their atm networks which is great to see. It's nice that people aren't giving their money to shitty ICO projects and are being more cautious with their investments.

Nothing going on that's hype worthy nor many 'bullish' signs but it's all good
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: September 06, 2018, 06:19:21 AM
Definitely not. Most of the projects that do not have a real product behind will vanish sooner or later. It's just a matter of time before this happen and I think this bearish market proved it very well. Most of the bad projects lost nore than 90% from their ICO price.

However, good projects with real utility will become stronger when market will recover. Always do a lot of research before investing in a new coin and don't invest amounts that you cannot afford to lose as crypto is very volatile.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is near to end on: September 06, 2018, 06:06:04 AM
Bitcoin is not near to end, mate. You might think this if you invested more than you can afford to lose and you are panicked now by seeing the price decreasing.

However, in worst case scenario, Bitcoin might transform into a holding asset like gold and not to become a currency for daily usage. But even so, this would not be the end of Bitcoin.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: September 05, 2018, 06:24:09 AM
From my point of view ICO will never die, but their popularity will decrease constantly as more than 80% of ICOs become sooner or later scams.

A much better option is to invest in non-ICO projects. Risk is not that high and usually behind these projects you will find strong and dedicated communities.

If you're interested in a grea non-ICO project you can have a look to Staker. (more details in my signature) And don't forget the main rule in crypto: never invest more than you can afford to lose.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment or free? on: September 05, 2018, 06:19:20 AM
I see the crypto market growing more and more with the appearance of more and more coin and projects. Every day there are dozens to hundreds of new projects being established. Most of them aim to call for investment to develop the project but besides that many projects do not call for capital but only distribute their token free through Airdrop programs and bounty. This leads to competition and attracts different users. Do you think free or investment projects will last longer?

Nothing in this world is for free, mate. When you think about investing you have 2 possibilities (3 if you combine the first two):
- invest money, but in this case don't forget to invest only money you can afford to lose as volatility on crypto market is very high
- invest your time, if you don't want to invest money directly. However investing time is still an investment, as our time is not for free. You can ask someone who has only a few more months to live and you'll understand how important time is.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Ethereum on: September 04, 2018, 07:54:04 AM
If you compare Ethereum with Bitcoin, it suffered a higher price depreciation during this bearish market. However, compared with many other altcoins, Ethereum remained rather strong.

If you are looking for a strong altcoin, with an active development and community, great POS rewards and a real product that can succeed even in a bearish market, then I recommend you to have a look to Staker project. (just consult my signature for more details)
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: September 04, 2018, 06:24:19 AM
There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth

From my previous experiences I would definitely advise you to run away from ICOs. Most of them are or will become scams in the shortest time. If you are willing to invest in new projects, I recommend you non-ICO projects.

However, most safe investment these days is still in Bitcoin and it will remain this way for the next years. No Altcoin has the power and popularity to fight against Bitcoin.

If I were you, I would invest ~80% in Bitcoin and the rest in non-ICO projects. And never invest more than you can afford to lose, as crypto market is still very volatile. Good luck!
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is all of the cryptocurrency is down? on: September 03, 2018, 04:10:00 AM
Cryto market is not down, mate, it is all about what you compare with. If you were an early adopter, you might constat that even now you are in a huge profit. However, if you bougt crypto last year at ~ATH, then you most probably still wait for the market to recover.

Don't forget that crypto market is very volatile due to news, political interests, whale's manipulation etc. But nothing lasts forever and bearish market will finish. Just be patient, keep your holdings safe and sooner or later you will be glad for that.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: September 03, 2018, 04:04:00 AM
Hello all.

The current situation of the market is not so good. I believe that some of you are panic, some are giving up, some holding to die.  Cry

Could you please share with us your current investment strategy so that everybody can learn from your good practices and overcome this tough time?

Hi mate,

What I learned from almost 2 years of crypto experience is to never panic sell and never invest more than I can afford to lose.

Regarding investment strategy, I keep ~80% in Bitcoin and the rest in altcoins based on non-ICO projects. (we all know what happened with most ICOs last year)
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: August 31, 2018, 02:24:24 PM
Central bank Governor of Spain has told the cryptos bring more risk than the benefits to get. but I believe on more risk more gain theory. If you can not trust crypto, you will not be able to see its value. Risk is associated with all kinda business. It just has to be calculated properly that which one would be profitable for you.

please share your thoughts in favor of mine statement or against.

There is no benefit without risks. Crypto market by definition is very risky due to its high volatility. However, high risk can come with huge profit or loss, this is why one of golden rules in Crypto is to never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Regarding benefits, timing is also extremely important. On the same market and with the same assets (ex: 10 BTC) someone having bought btc in 2013 has much more benefits than someone having bought the same amount of btc a few years after. Even in this bearish market you can have huge profits if you just sell what you bought earlier than 2016 for instance.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin and investment on: August 30, 2018, 06:28:26 AM
Being a newbie, I'm looking for a good direction on learning about the markets and trading. How would you decide which ICO to invest in? Cryptocurrency is too volatile, but so there is still many people who go into investment that goes even in the newest coins which are similar (not same) in the functionality that they offer (e.g. anonymity). What is the possibility on any of these coins (or digital currency in general) being successful (or profitable)? I'm also not clear on how does the value of coin inflate or deflate; especially when the flow is controlled by the developers?

tl;dr Any resources or pointers on the topic are appreciated.

First, I would not invest into an ICO based projects, but non-ICO. Just make some researches to find how more than 80% ICOs became scams.

Second, always do a lot of anlysis before making any investment. Be careful at following key points:
- social media activity
- Whitepaper
- milestones (respected or not by Dev)
- team experience
etc.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are you still believe in ico's?? on: August 29, 2018, 04:09:23 AM
Personally, I don't believe in ICOs anymore. I'm sure there are exceptions and still good projects behind ICOs, but the risk that an ICO project to vanished right after getting the soft/hard cap is very high, so I prefer to stay away.

I would recommend you to take into account non-ICO based projects, or to invest into tokens that already proved their utility for at least 1 year.
