PoS is obviously the coin of the future. The days of wasting tons of energy on huge hashing farms is going away. In two years a pure PoS coin will take over BTC.

I'm not sure why more people are interested in Blackcoin over Mint? Someone tell me please, is it the 0% Premine? Since my time here, I've noticed the devs are very committed and hard at work at making this a good coin, yet Blackcoin is getting 1000 BTC volume everyday while we are getting less than 50. BTW, i fully support mint just bought 1 mill more because i think this coin has a good future.
It's not that people are more interested in BC than Mint, it's got a lot to do with "Market Manipulation". If you look (and watch) the BC market for any given amount of time, you will see that the total BTC traded may be a high number, but it is actually a deceiving number. For example: I have .05 BTC and I buy X BC with that, then I place a sell order at a 50 to 75 Satoshi higher price than I payed. Once they sell I again buy X amount of BC for less than I just sole for, and then again sell for 50 to 75 Satoshi gain per BC. Each one of those trades (buy and sell) are recorded as BTC volume, which is actually inflating the real amount of BTC being traded. You can also look at the amount of each trade (buy and sell) and see that there are very few orders that are above 0.05 BTC. People are using BC as a means to pump the value to en inflated price to earn fast money, just like many of the other altcoins. Don't look at the markets to see how popular Mint is, look at the community and the things being done in the community to further the viability and acceptance of Mintcoin as a TRUE Crypto Currency. That makes a healthy market with high liquidity. It's what you want in a coin! I hope mint gets more liquidity soon/ |

The same person or group has been dumping at just under 9k for 15 hours now! They stopped for an hour a couple of times. That is one hell of a lot of blackcoins.

Now there was a better time to buy  Agree.. I need to have more patience; gained a few bc @88 - 81; could have been a bit more. If you got back in with a few more BC then it was worth it IMO. I would rather buy to soon than miss the rocket. But try to not let your emotions control your buying. Harder said than done. |

For those interested in day trading, this is a bullish candle.  Its a pretty picture, but my BC is way to valuable to 'wager' on taking a little profit now. None of these charts has witnessed the pool running out of startup/beta stage. The pool could produce hundreds of bTC worth of BUY pressure in the next two weeks (at least) You can could me a little profit now, just as easily as you could miss out on the real gains tomorrow, or next week. In a bleak world of Alt coins, BC is the only coin that is getting ready to buck the trend. And if we do who knows what will happen. Day trading with less than 10% of your holdings, you are not going to miss out on much and the potential gain is unlimited. Each to his own. plus day trading adds liquidity to the market which any serious investor will want. |

I bought my BC high (6000-range) and I'm daytrading to cover from "the losses" If you bought for long term, I would put 90% of them away and day trade with the remainder. I'd be nervous waiting for my coins to buy in this cheap Good luck to you, sir!  Yea, I sold BC at 9000 and buy back at 8000 Which is why I recommend that guy wait and not buy on new highs. Great. In that way you can make nice amounts of money . It's quite Obvious that BlackCoin will hit the 9000 again as it went to 8000 in my opinion, so you could increase your amount of BC or BTC by doing that  . I am primarily interested in increasing my BC holdings. But I would be scared of stuff like yesterday.. When it went from 7 to 9k so if you sold at 800 you were fucked. Is it then that it always like after a 2k increase it corrects itself first? That a pattern you follow? Or when it went up so much it stabalizes a bit then you decide to sell and buy back lower not scared that it will increase? After you have stared at forex charts for a couple years you start to learn by looking at a chart when it is getting over bought, or oversold. So far I have always got my buy orders filled after selling BC. Like now I will not sell BC until it breaks to new highs. Go look, I said a couple days ago that it needs to test the 4000 and it did within days. I sold from 6000 all the way up to 9000 and then bought back on the way down. Right now, until I see a clearer direction I will stay long until new highs. |

No one knows; i just know i bought myself a top 700 spot @ 1500 and i'm likin it I bought in when it was 20 times lower than today. And I'm not even thinking of selling. Maybe when the market cap is close to LTC I might consider selling half. But I to have a small stash that I use for day trading. Buy low, sell high easy BC for the taking. |
