They did not followed updates. First Hard Fork will occur in July to modify the protocol and allow the change in miner reward division to 10% supernodes, 10% securenodes, 10% treasury, 70% miners. Second fork is planned minimum two months after the first one, and it will be focused on the extended transactions confirmation.
Thank you for the correction! Here you can find latest informations, and if you are not sure always ask. ZenCash discord is also very good place for getting information, consider joining.

Thanks MedaR for explanation, I am currently 15 days under the full sync, after I get this wallet to 100% I will install Arizen and try to import keys to see the differences in these two wallets. Arizen is light wallet and there is no need for synchronization, once when it is started can be used almost instantly. I have all those wallets in use, and Arizen is my favorite.

This 51% attack strongly emphasizes the need to fork off the Z9 Asics.
Guess Zen devs could not be bought over by Bitmain unlike Zooko of Zcash, unhappy, they probably started the attack as a warning.
(Complete speculation but it makes sense)
"The Zen team will continue monitoring the network and conducting forensic analysis with the affected exchange. All information gathered will be provided to the appropriate authorities." It is too early to point finger on Asic, we are investigating.

Can you mine ZEN with Antminer z9 mini ASIC?
Of course you can. But on June 26th, you won't be able anymore. Yes It can be mined with Asic. Please explain me what will happen on this date - June 26th? he thinks the fork is on June 26 I think or it will? Please correct me if I'm wrong https://hype.codes/zencash-undergo-hard-fork"ZenCash will initiate a hard fork on June 26 as a response to a production of the Bitmain AntMiner Z9 Equihash ASIC miner" They did not followed updates. The ZenCash network was the target of a 51% attack on 2 June at approximately 10:43 pm EDT.
The ZenCash team immediately executed mitigation procedures to significantly increase the difficulty of future attacks on the network. We are conducting forensics and will forward our findings to the appropriate authorities. https://blog.zencash.com/zencash-statement-on-double-spend-attack/

Guys, do you have anywhere blockchain data file for download, haven't been syncing from last year and now this is taking some time with this latest wallet.
Each initial sync of a wallet also does important work of re-verifying the whole blockchain, with a snapshot this would be skipped. This process, should be never bootstrapped because the nodes do a important work re-verifying the chain. Future developments will mitigate need for full-blockchain wallets. I must encourage you to consider using Arizen except for private transactions, it is more convenient if you asking me. Ok, thanks, my sync is currently on 5th of March sooooo slow . About your suggestion to use Arizen istead of QT wallet, what can I do to import my wallet to Arizen, are they even compatible? Normally it takes on the order of 6-12 hours for full 100% sync. on a PC with relatively good CPU/HDD/network connection. In my case this was 18 hours Swing and Arizen Wallets are not compatible you can't import wallet.dat, but you can import Private keys. Arizen-> * Import Private Key in WIF and HEX format (Compatible with Swing wallet). * Export Private Key in WIF and HEX format (Compatible with Swing wallet).

It have been a long time since i checked out zencash, and im impressed by how it is doing both on development and price. Putting together two rigs now with my friends and was going all out on another coin. But considering risk we may go for two coins, and i think zen is the right choice for number two They improved a lot and are always improving. Better you follow closely this coin if you don't want to miss a great opportunity. Check out their latest update, WP, etc you will understand Yes i have a good feeling about Zen, and have had that for a long time. Been without Zen for too long, and actually agreed with my mate that we will choose Zen for one of the rigs You won't be disappointed with them Main differences in comparison with other projects (except we are not ICO, no IPO nor Premine) are: - This is community project - whole comunity not only node owners, community shaping this project trought proposals, soon this wil be trought voting system. - This team do not make unrealistic promises, instead it is working, and presenting progress on every biweekly. - We do not hype nor we want Zen to be speculative coin, at least we won't encorage this bahaivior. - Everything is transparent, and can be easely checked. - Everyone can join and give contribution. But you are making your own business decisions, so do your own investigation!

Thank you for giving us detailed answer, and clarifying questions. I want to know if I can be eligible for the competition by just depositing required ZEN right before the deadline, and withdrawing it right after the snapshot.
This is a good point and would make a big difference for some users. Also similarly, based on the competition terms, I read it that you need to 'Increase' your Zen balance by 1000 over the competition period. This means if you deposited a bunch of Zen before the competition started, that would not count for this competition and you would need to buy or deposit an additional 1000 to be eligible. Can anyone answer my question please? Will it be eligible for the competition by depositing required ZEN just before the deadline, and withdrawing it right after the snapshot? Users will be ranked based on their increase in ZEN holdings over the course of the competition period. Competition period: 2018/05/26 00:00 AM to 2018/06/02 00:00 AM (UTC). Rewards will be issued within 2 weeks after the competition. You can login and check the ZEN prize via Distribution History > Account Center. It's based on the net increase in ZEN between date A and date B so you can either buy, or transfer your holdings there.
