If anyone can seem on C Cex asiacoin price is already stablising higher and higher mostly likely upto 1400. 800 short term, once news hits about the fix, more people know, gets listed on Mintpal and all back to 1500.
Another really important thing guys, atm POS interest amt isnt an issue and on behalf the majority i say that 70% should be the interest because this will reduce the inflation as intended and keep total coins close to 320mill which is really important. The interest after that should be 2% or whatever the previous dev had decided because this reward is only for the early adopters. I do not want another POS interest worry after this message.

If anyone wants the total coins to be the original 320 Million after 1 yr, then change the interest to 68% otherwise change it to 5%. However it is adviseable to make the interest 70% because this is what enticed most of the original investors and i feel 70% will help keep us holding because its better than Warren Buffett returns  which is 25%.

TBH we could use more help on the dev side.. we have a few guys who are ramping up. But guess i'm the key dev with experience atm.
The patch in this case is really a security patch. The bulk of which is done.
But we could use help on whitebox testing..
Testing needs some ingenuity because we're essentially testing non-happy path cases.. (security test). Basically have to ensure that the patch to zone off the premine cannot be compromised (through staking or sending). When you don't have access to the premine address...
Also if someone can get onto getting builds working on OSX/Debian/Win32 that could move things along faster..
And if someone can sign up to do the POS adjustment code (that's a bit of a trivial change, but nevertheless still a change).. but that has to wait till community decides what to do with %s..
So yeah.. more help would be good. Testing and code reviews of the security patch is top priority though
summercoin dev did a lovely pos change from 1% yearly to 10% daily for block 17000 to 30000. I think he can come here to help tons. Should i get him here to help? |

Another thing guys, remove all ur sell orders below 1500 where 95% of the ppl bought in at because it helps stablise it higher and please keep as many in the wallet as possible. I actually think 70% interest now is the best because it will make total supply 320mill by end of the year.

I was just contacted by the developer of Bter.com and he showed support that Bter.com will re-enable trades once the issue is patched. we have confirmation from two exchanges now that once we solve the problem, AC will be relisted.
I am very confident that Mintpal, Bittrex and Poloneix will also follow.

Dear CommunitySince we are doing a hard fork, and if other changes to the structure and ecosystem are required, it must be done now. We aimed to be completely transparent and this requires us to really listen to everyone about an important issue: How much should it stake in the first year? Asia Coin was supposed to stake 100% during its first year, that is not possible due to the extra 30 million AC that was dumped from the premined block. However, we can still do a high value (basically 190 million -> 320 million). It is also possible to reduce staking to a significantly lower value. So as a community, we need to decide what to do, and the issue is now up for debate. Please respectfully state your opinions (and reasoning/justification is obviously much better than just stating a number ). Just done some calculations (really should enjoy my vacation) and in order for the total coins to be 320mill from 190mill is 68% interest. However 68% interest is a crazy amt and a reasonable amt is 1-5% interest as many successful coins/currencies dont offer inflation rates more than 5% at the max. 5% would send the total amt of coins to 200mill at the end of the year a very reasonable amt making it very promising. And as to my duties as a Exchange caller i will be doing do later this day once many thins are worked out and im free. |

The interest rate must remain as close to 100% as possible for the first year. People need to stop suggesting anything lower. The point of reviving the coin is to be as close to the original specs as possible.
But dont u think a 50% interest is too much :/ 190,000x1.5 = close to 280,000. A 1% interest coin would sustain itself better with less money being generated. The issue of interest rate is very sensitive because it is linked to the sustainability of the price of the currency in the medium and long term! A higher interest rate further decline in long-term price! And this in an alt-coin can be life threatening in a few months ... I suggest that the interest rate does not exceed 10% +1 |

Is this a trustworthy site? I'm thinking I'll probably buy some back into AC. It's looking like everyone is really coming together to get this going which is giving me some hope to be honest. Guys can anybody try to check that info i look on Swaphole now and i think that AC can trade here. But all my balance is blocked on Cryptsy, Such more than one day(((( I cannot turn back my BTC and AC and cannot withdraw any coin (( If anybody have some coins on "Swaphole" plz try to trade AC))) And one question : "Im one cannot withdraw my balance in any coin from Crypsty more than 2 day. And after trouble with AC im not look on balance 20K AC. and any BTC. And now again Cryptsy pending my 0.04 BTC after cancelled order. On start today i have 0.17 BTD now 0.035 BTD. 0.135 BTD is pending in AC and BTC and i cannot check it on my balance. And mb anybody take a look today before AC trouble MintPal and Poloniex blocked the most of their deposits too,like a Crypsty. That 3 trading platform check out AC from trade list in a few second after its happened,its normal practice? Im new here,but i think its strange a little because Cryptsy not show me my balance not only in AC. BTC too they cannot check on that moment. All exchanges are protecting themselves from potential fruad of premine dumping, until the patch can be released. Cryptsy has already agreed on reopening wallet once a patch is created. we don't know about mintpal yet.. someone will have to talk with them.. I will talk with them lol. It's less than $168 actually, because the transaction fees on both sides come out of your end. BTW, you don't have to sell them to me. You are welcome to find a better offer. However, I'm only going to be offering less later if this situation doesn't improve. So, if you want to hold out for a better price, I wish you the best of luck. There are others that are owning up to their mistaken investment in this coin and are taking their lumps and moving on with their lives.
I dont want to be hatin' or trollin' or nothing. ( I too am stuck holding ac's) However, advocate of the devil... Last known price when exchanges were still up was 5-700 sat (lets say 600) so 500k at that price (3btc) ~ $1300,- // Now Mr Gold here offers about 15% of that,... It is ridiculously low.... yes... but it is something.. Pretty big risk to take for him. If the coin should dissapear he will have lost ajll of his investment... so risk management, cost return etc.... im not saying you should accept the offer... just saying that i get why he's buying so low... i have like 820,000AC in one address and 100,000in another. please dont confuse all big addresses to be the scammer's lol, theres some other ppl whove put like thousands of fiat in like me as well

Excellent job! And if you can keep us informed on these points: 1. State of all the blockchain (If no there are more hidden surprises than the first block). Block explorer will be up so everyone can see in detail and comb through it as needed. When i looked i didn't find anything other than the block 1 premine that was suspicious. But open transparency is the right course. This time though, everyone needs to do their due diligence..  2. The actual amount and exact AC coins in circulation.
Block explorer will show that.. but you will need to minus the premine either manually or we will have to hard code that somehow. 3. The actual amount and exact the hidden preminer sold and unsold.
I calculated this to be 30m AC that was sold. 4. A list of all AC addresses that will be blocked belonging to the scammer and his potential allies.
This.. is not easy to get.. in that we can find where all the premine went, but the people that received them may be honest people. I'm almost sure, that the scammer withdrew amounts for bounty and giveaway system.. saw a bunch of 10k withdrawals, and 100k for the giveaway.. Other addresses are assuredly exchanges, and ppl who bought from exchanges. So we're only taking the policy of blocking just 1 address, where the majority of the premine still lives. 5. Quantity of coins that may be lost held by the public (of the good people)...
