It will still be a long way for Bitcoin to match up with Gold, especially in terms of being an investment and the number of user base holders. Gold is being used before by different countries and different eras , also considered a became a currency to countries which is not yet developed. Which means that its community is way bigger than community of Bitcoin which affects its demand. It's a long way but it seems like bitcoin is going to that way in a fast pace. Gold holders cannot say they are more profitable because bitcoin is giving more and their investment are more liquid. They can use it in their daily transactions and they can trade it as well, in reality bitcoin is more useful than gold and in time when people realize its value, it will be considered more precious than gold. I agree to that, bitcoin is more useful than gold because we can use bitcoin as a money to pay and use on different transaction with an easier way than money. Bitcoin is a like a gold but it is more advanced than gold because it is digital and it is more secured than any other investment that we have right now so i think the holdings of bitcoin is very far way better than gold. My vote is also with bitcoins. The holding of bitcoins for few months can produce profit more than gold. Gold is very much stable in price and is not capable of producing significant profits in few months. If digital currency will completely replace paper money then it will create lot of backlog.
People will have to wait too long for transactions.
We don't have very developed network yet still we face this problem but only on a smaller scale.
if people will use credit/debit cards then there are many people who will use only paper money as everyone cannot afford to have credit totally depends on bank procedures, but the majority of the people will continue to use paper money. We can stop the price from crashing by increasing activities with bitcoin. Bitcoin prices would keep increasing if we increase the usage of bitcoin for purchases and daily activities. Without these being done then bitcoin prices won’t rise but fall.
I agree to that we need more activities for bitcoin so we can have a right amount of demand that will sustain the price of bitcoin and probably will pump the price of bitcoin to a higher price. If the demand that we are going to get is continuous and unstoppable then there is nothing to worry about the crash of bitcoin anymore. The demand of bitcoins will keep on increasing day by day because of this recent increase in their values. But still we need to push their common use by paying our restaurant bills, airline tickets etc in bitcoins. For me it is possible for the bitcoin cash to have the same value as the bitcoins did but for now it is a big no. It is impossible for them to surpass or even have the same value as bitcoin with yhese short period of time. They are just getting started in the business, they cannot surpass the bitcoin that fast, they just have a little number of users or holder compared to bitcoins that have all around the world. Bitcoins are still the best and no one can surpass them in this era. 1 era = 100 years, just wanted to accentuate this. If we are considering a century as a time span while comparing bitcoins and bitcoin cash, then we should keep in mind that one century is a big time. The game can totally change in this time span. There is possibility that bitcoins could be over thrown by bitcoin cash or the extinction of latter is also possible. If crashing down from above $400 to $117 is how it’s going to compete with bitcoin, man I will say sorry then, cause it won’t be able to compete, and might fold up very soon. Lol! Everyone rather every sensible person knows that bitcoins are the only rulers of the crypto kingdom and no other coin whether it is bitcoin cash or an altcoin can’t compete with bitcoins at all. We dont really need an insider info to make money on trading and as being said trading isnt just like complete an educated guess because if we do say the word "guess" we are randomly selecting a particular thing even though its educated it cant be considered since we do have basis on why we do choose a particular decision. Its somehow need some luck but most of the part it would really require knowledge. Luck plays role in every part of life and it is nothing different that it is involved in success with bitcoins. If ever bitcoin will be shown in the news, people may easily believe in bitcoin and invest in it because seeing it in the news may seem to be legit for them. I know bitcoin is being talked about in news channels of other countries but I don't know about other countries. It may be better if other news channels start talking about bitcoin. Advertising bitcoins is not a bad idea but you must consider the audience first. Nowadays, it is the aged people who are more into television while the youth and youngsters love to stick around on internet and social sites.
