i think xapo not allowed to use 2fa from other source, he only accept 2fa from xapo android aplication...

You are wrong, read Xapo FAQ. To enable Google Authenticator or Authy, download and open the application on your device, and tap the "+" to add a new second factor code generator. Click "Enable Google Authenticator" from your security settings, and a QR code that can be scanned by the Google Authenticator or Authy app will generate. Go down the page until you see the option to "require second-factor for login". There will be a box next to this option. Click the box and then click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Today I got error message saying that " Sorry, an error occurred while sending the SMS, please try again later. " - Any one face same issue? I even tried to receive a call but not successful so just wonder is it only I got this issue or any of you also facing this issue?

But mobile wallet is still looks working, I haven't tried yet any transaction through mobile.

If you are commonly experience issues receiving SMS 2FA codess I recommebd you to choose Google Authenticator or Authy, a second factor authentication application that can substitute SMS messages 2FA codes. Additionally, you can retrieve second factor codes natively from the Xapo Android or iOS app, by navigating to the options menu and selecting "Second Factor".
923  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: December 07, 2015, 04:43:27 PM
Ive received payment from payment. But its not reached on my xapo wallet.
When i checked at blockchain its still unconfirmed transaction..
Is it normal that unconfirmed transaction wont show balance on xapo wallet?

Don't worry about it, just wait for at least one confirmation. Actually, for transactions between a Xapo customer and non-customer, transactions complete instantly but will be marked as "Pending" until confirmation completes. Xapo requires six confirmations of the transaction on bitcoin's blockchain, which usually takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Transactions between two Xapo customers confirm nearly instantly.

i have a problem with e-coin

when i send BTC from my blockchain to another account in e-coin i got error " invalid address "
i ask my friends to generate more address but the same problem

i try to send from my e-coin to their e-coin i confirm the transection but the balace still the same
for example i have 0.1 BTC  when i send 0.05 the balance still 0.1BTC i didnt see any transection

i have one more question

can i register new account with different email and name in same IP and same computer ?
i want to make new account for my friend and try my self to send BTC

Hm, there is no such problem for me. Yes, you can create as many accounts as you want (even from the same IP in the same computer) and make transactions from any of them.

Sounds like nonsense when you receive email all email from same person are together heading. Email is also more advanced then few years earlier.

You don't know exactly what kind of software, settings and filters Xapo use. Even if all email from same person are heading together, support will need a time to read all of them... So, if the rule exist, you should perform it.
926  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: December 04, 2015, 09:00:04 PM
Please read my post.....I already sent 3 emails to support@xapo with my new phone number ......

Thanks...

I read your post carefully. Sending more e-mails and forum posts does not help much, in fact, it only causes confusion and delays. Just imagine a hundred customers, and all of them send x3 emails (when only one is enough) and forgot to write the subject...
Have you verified your Xapo account?

Hello all

I'am not sure it's the good place to post my request. So sorry if it's not the case.
(@Admin, you can move my post to the appropiate conatainer  Wink)

Is Xapo is a serious company ?

I sent to support@xapo.com at least 3 mails since one week and  I have never got an answer....

I want only change my phone number contact before order a Xapo debit card. I don't think it's a difficult request....!!!!

If I have no answer for a basic request, I don't think it's the appropriate place for me to choose this company for ordering a debit card.....

What is your opinion regarding Xapo ?

Many thanks

In order to protect your security, Xapo will need to go through a process to verify your identity before they are able to change your phone number.
Acording to their FAQ, you should email to support@xapo.com with your new phone number and the subject "Mobile Number Change".
928  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most expensive thing, you bought with Bitcoin? Does price matter? on: December 04, 2015, 02:28:24 PM
The question would be, would it matter if you bought something for say $10 000 and the price of Bitcoin rose with say 300%   Huh It is fine, when you make small purchases with Bitcoin, but does it matter if you

are buying more expensive stuff and the price double or tripple. The amount lost on bigger purchases will be felt more than the smaller purchase. I hear what everyone is saying, and I belive that it makes no

sense to have regrets over something that has not happened or might not even happen.... but what if it does? Would the $10 000 you spend at a price of $300 per bitcoin be that simple, if that amount of Bitcoins

reach a price of say $10 000 per Bitcoin? Only one guy can probably comment on that feeling... Laszlo Hanyecz who bought 2 x pizza's for 10 000 bitcoins in 2010. {At that time, it was worth $30}  Roll Eyes

The most expensive thing, I bought with bitcoin was Avalon ASIC from batch#3, the price at the moment of buy was 74.46 btc (tx1, tx2) ~$5500. Today  it is more than $26000.
929  Economy / Gambling / Re: most populous poker site?? on: December 03, 2015, 04:06:51 PM
Yes you're right but what if I don't want to send my money to an exchange for any given reason? Why should I do what you suggest?

I think, I already answer to your question in second part of my previous post. With bitcoin debit card you don't need to send your money to an exchange, simply spend your coins just like fiat money in any site or store. With E-Coin it is absolutly safe since they use incorporating BitGo into their service, the best security standards in the industry.
930  Economy / Gambling / Re: most populous poker site?? on: December 03, 2015, 03:29:28 PM
I checked on their site but they don't directly accept Bitcoin and OP was asking about playing with BTC, they accept neteller so maybe incidentally they accept BTC but I can't tell because I don't use have a neteller account

There are so many exchanges today, I don't think it is a problem... Personaly, I prefer to use a bitcoin debit card from E-coin for this (virtual one costs only 3$ and available almost instantly).
931  Economy / Gambling / Re: most populous poker site?? on: December 03, 2015, 03:09:52 PM
I think, it is 888poker, initially known as Pacific Poker, the third-largest poker site in the world. The graphics are excellent, they use one of the most player friendly and easy to use poker software platforms around, and as such you will be very hard pressed to find a better online poker site at which to play.
932  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorite strategy for dice? on: December 03, 2015, 02:28:44 PM
That startegy consist of aligning only the dices of 60 points, as well as the green symbols of 120 points. This guarantee numerous small winnings , but added together allows to gradually increase your capital of credits.
933  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: December 03, 2015, 10:44:26 AM
If my registered name was "Jo Average" and the name on the card was "Anybody", what should I enter in the name field when using the card (online purchase)? Can I just use ANY name?

In the name field when using the card for online purchase you should enter the name as it written on the card ("Anybody"). The registered name/First Name & Last Name ("Jo Average") will be used for card verification, in order to upgrade your status/increase the limits.
934  Economy / Gambling / Re: What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘gambling’? on: December 02, 2015, 11:10:13 PM
The only thing I get in my mind is loss of money. Gambling is made to take away your money.

As for me, the word "gambling" is associated with bets and addiction, with persons who take a risky action in the hope of a desired result, always involving money.
935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get coins from paper wallet/cold storage back onto exchange to sell on: December 02, 2015, 05:39:28 PM
8. Chose Import Directly, wait for transactions loading.
9. Click on "Send Money", enter your Bitstamp BTC deposit address, than click "Send Payment".
10. Wait until 6 confirmations and sell your BTC on exchange.

I did step 8 correctly, there are now zero coins showing at my paper wallet Public Key address.  But there are still zero showing in my Blockchain wallet.  Is this a normal delay?

Re: step 9, I can send to Coinbase just as well right?

Step 8. Zero ballance in your Blockchain wallet means that you not did step 8 or that there are no coins corresponding to this private key. Zero ballance in your paper wallet address means that you/somebody already send this coins. You can check all transaction history here: https://blockchain.info/, just enter your address and click on "Search" button.
Step 9. Yes, of course, you cand send them anywhere.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: December 01, 2015, 07:55:46 PM
Avoiding situations that have previously led you to problem gambling is critical for your long-term recovery. Doing so will require open conversations with family and friends, self-exclusion from gambling sites and changes to your lifestyle.
937  Economy / Gambling / Re: When do we have to stop before experienced loss? on: December 01, 2015, 01:27:07 PM
Limits should be set before starting to gamble. A person who chooses to gamble should set time and monetary limits and adhere to them. Money spent on gambling should be considered the cost of entertainment. We should gamble only with money we can afford to lose.

You can use blockchain.info to import the private key into their online wallet

Can you please dumb this down for me?  Is this right?
1. Go to Blockchain.info
2. Wallet
3. Login
4. Import/Export
5. (ominous "Advanced Warning!" message).  Click "I Understand"
6. Import Private Key

Is that right?  I got through Step 6 and then after that it started recommending that if the Private Key is from a "shared source" I should Sweep instead of Import Directly.  It is not from a "shared source" so I chose Import Directly, but then it gave me another ominous message that basically forced me to click Sweep.  I did and then I got pink highlighted message in the top-right corner of the screen, but nothing happened.  I just checked my paper wallet and all coins are still there.

Huh

Continue with following steps:
...
6. Re-enter your main password.
7. Import -> Import Private Key -> Enter your private key (or scan it with webcam) and click "Add Private Key".
8. Chose Import Directly, wait for transactions loading.
9. Click on "Send Money", enter your Bitstamp BTC deposit address, than click "Send Payment".
10. Wait until 6 confirmations and sell your BTC on exchange.
