Mithrilman's client is looking good. These kinds of situational awareness and decision support aids will provide human players with a considerable boost versus the 1 in 10 bots (assumed). This is fascinating.

I am wondering if there is a best of both worlds hybrid between man and machine. In a nutshell, the human takes care of the strategy, and even defines some of the routing, but the bot element can take care of AFK situations by the application of some rudimentary 'sense and avoid'. Sense other players in the path or on collision course (vector analysis) = take evasive action.

Huntercoin is going to be legendary within 12 months. It's still under the radar.

We should print HUC T Shirts. Any T shirt ideas?

These bots on a learning curve.. I suppose the funny thing is miners filling the room

in response to why we thought about halving the coin

many people had written us asking us to do it.

so we took it into consideration and then decided to ask the community.

we never intended on halving it but we do like the idea of extended the mining life of the coin.

it had nothing to do with trying to drive the price of the coin up.
What yall doing to the idea of cooperative growing?   I think the work of promise is a good start for us!

When did the max coins get changed from 80 mil to 20 mil?

Still says 250 million on their thread??

he means max coins for DRK

?

Actually, I went to their thread and saw that they decided last night on twitter to halve the rewards and in response, their coins are rising in value.  So they're going somewhere from 250,000,000 to 125,000,000.
Because of the predominant personality of it's namesake, I find this coin to be the most obnoxious of all the alt-coins.

Maximum coins for DRK was changed from 84 million to 22 million on the first page of this thread.

OOOOOooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh!  Embarrassed  LOL

I have NO idea why people say I'm slow.........

Thia kills me somebody.. Crime pays GOD touches it

Saphire R9 290 the model with the one fan. I have 3 of them, same problem. I'm in touch with some guy on windows 7 that has 6 of them (different brand but same design), and has the same problem too.

I can flash any-bios you advise to.

It's 3 weeks now that I'm stuck with this issue.

Is it a reference card? Can you find out if it is Hynix or Elpida memory? You might have to flash the stilt's bios (use the second bios bank). If it is to mine Darkcoin, you can go with the lower voltage mods. Sorry this conversation might be hijacking the thread. You can message on IRC if you want.

The point is: all the cards have the loss on the exact same second, wich shoul mean that it's not some sort of Bios issue, or am I wrong?
If all 290 cards have the loss on the exact same second, no matter on wich psu they are plugged in (I put a second psu for testing), is it not the software that causes the problem?
I have no idea how the program is coded, but is it possible that the miner has some sort of security that only impact the 290?
The fact that the Vdcc is not read and listed as 0 in the miner may be connected? That is the only parameters that is no listed correctly only on the 290.

Anyone who can solve this issue will be rewarded by a bounty payment directly corespondent too the percent increase I see versus mining rewards so far.
930  Economy / Securities / CryptoStocks Indefinite IPO Active Flag on: March 23, 2014, 04:21:14 PM
I have come to find out that if you list on Cryptostocks there is a simple way to set the price of your investment offering permanently by raising an IPO flag indefinitely.  Investors should beware of this since once this happens you do not have access to your original funds and are locked into ownership or stocks you may wish to sell.  Do not invest money you may need since that's how it is and any company listed can do this anytime.  How that this is ok with everybody is beyond me since now I know it is pissing me off since I want to use my money to start my own p2p currency company.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | No Premine | DGW | ASIC Resistant on: March 23, 2014, 03:36:32 AM
Quick p2p pool question.  How is it this (http://imgur.com/kQWUMCI) miner at 2.5ish Mhps all day is getting a 2.5 drk reward all day but the 13.5 Mhps miner is getting .4 drk?

P2Pool pays out on a PPLNS system. Although the 2.5 miner is currently at 2.5, he may have been mining at a much faster rate for the last 24-48 hours and has built up that sort of reward. It's hard to tell from just a snapshot... Try going to the graphs to see what the hashrate was over the last 24 hours.

Others may be able to explain this better, but that is my understanding of the reward system.

Yea So I did look at graphs because this payout has been so persistent and its confusing.  You can see anytime here http://205.186.154.88:7903/static/  It doesn't make sense to me because even in graphs their isn't a high hash.  That 2.x DRK is some magic golden mining with 2.5 MH/s

933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has crypto been overtaken by bleeding heart liberals? on: March 23, 2014, 01:48:51 AM
Yall want to care about how others views in the way it affects a perception of p2pcoin currency specifically Bitcoin.  Haha maybe you should go back to USDs if you don't care about the 6 billion people that are not banked with a internationally trusted and recognized financial system. Treating people as charity is wrong but empowering entire populations to participate in an economic systems. This is the most important invention of the 21st century so far bare none.    Did yall ever stop to think how close minded talking about this makes you seem.  What Bitcoin is to anybody else doesn't concern you and certainly doesn't hurt the adoption, that's completely beyond your simpleness.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [GroupBuy/Hosting] [EU-PL] KnC Titan - 100 Mh/s LTC Miner (100 shares per unit) on: March 22, 2014, 03:15:56 PM
A couple of things:

  • The most profitable alt is not litecoin and it hasn't been for a long time. So all 15 miners will only be mining litecoin? No waffle pool or clever mining? Why not mine these and then just buy litecoins with the bitcoins, you will end up with more litecoin?(it seems you have a thing for litecoin)
  • 12% is way to high and a percentage doesn't make sense for buyers when the costs are fixed. Electricity cost stays the same, and once you set up the Titan's, you pretty much don't do anything besides payouts which can also be automated. According to the Titan listing page, it uses a standard ATX power supply thus limiting power consumption to max 1500 watts.
    • 1500 watts costs about $205 per month at 0.19 kw/h per Titan
    • 205 * 15 Titans =  $3075 Total monthly electricity cost for all 15 Titans
    • 12% of 100 MH/S equals over $940 per month in fees per Titan.
    • 940 * 15 = $14100 in monthly fees for all 15
    • 14100 - 3075 = $11025 in profit for you per month in fees alone, or $735 per Titan.(this is much higher than the 2% premium you are claiming above)
Even if difficulty triples(it won't), this equates to an over 200% markup on the cost to hosting the miner. Scrypt coin difficulty does not work like bitcoin because if difficulty spikes, miners change coins until it drops back down (see this Dogechain difficulty chart for an example). Thus, difficulty is not an excuse and the fees seem shamelessly high.
  • Since we don't get any of the profit from selling the miner, isn't this more like a rental than a group buy? Group buy implies partial ownership and proceeds from the sale of the miner once unprofitable. You are actually proposing a 24 month rental. So basically you are charging a 12% fee on top of a rental that doesn't mine the most profitable coins.

No one in their right mind will buy shares in this because you are killing ROI potential in every stage: only litecoin, ridiculous fees and no ownership. Its been a couple of days and it seems like you haven't sold any shares, do you have any plans to change fee or ownership structure?

lol negotiable
