Saphire R9 290 the model with the one fan. I have 3 of them, same problem. I'm in touch with some guy on windows 7 that has 6 of them (different brand but same design), and has the same problem too.
I can flash any-bios you advise to.
It's 3 weeks now that I'm stuck with this issue.
Is it a reference card? Can you find out if it is Hynix or Elpida memory? You might have to flash the stilt's bios (use the second bios bank). If it is to mine Darkcoin, you can go with the lower voltage mods. Sorry this conversation might be hijacking the thread. You can message on IRC if you want. Edit: This is what you can start with http://1drv.ms/MAPU6v"-I 22 --thread-concurrency 32768 -w 256"

The point is: all the cards have the loss on the exact same second, wich shoul mean that it's not some sort of Bios issue, or am I wrong? If all 290 cards have the loss on the exact same second, no matter on wich psu they are plugged in (I put a second psu for testing), is it not the software that causes the problem? I have no idea how the program is coded, but is it possible that the miner has some sort of security that only impact the 290? The fact that the Vdcc is not read and listed as 0 in the miner may be connected? That is the only parameters that is no listed correctly only on the 290.

If it's dropping back to idle clocks, it might not be at full load for some reason. Are you cpu mining at the same time?

I not cpu mining. The clock does not change, the load does not change, nothing change...except after 10 minutes, all at once, on the same second my 3 290 looses 10% hasrate. I have a 270 on the same machine that is not impacted. It happened only with darkcoin mining and not scrypt mining. Only hint I did not explore is the fact that the vdcc of my R9 290 is listed as 0 in sgminer.

I decided to dump half my Darkcoins today because of this coin. I fear if legit it could make Darkcoin obsolete and holding it will be toxic. I'm gonna be on the sidelines until I know anything different. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525419Agree or Disagree?

But...anonymous developper...Sending money to receive coins...Receiving coins over ten month (not sure escrow can do anything about such a delay)...no proof that anything is real, from the coin to the anonimity. It mades a few strange things in one single post.

So basically a couple of anonymous teenagers decided to create a fairy tale coin and ask people to buy their coins based on a proof of "trust" model all the while making Jetson age claims of coin uniqueness and superiority of which you decided to slyly present this pseudo advert in order to garner interest for your interest? Bravo. I couldn't have done this better.

Yeah I clearly said 'if' its legit. Keeping answers to what would happen to Darkcoin 'if' they do indeed produce the coin with the mentioned features is the intelligent discussion for grown ups who respect themselves. Act your age people not your fuck wit shoe size kids.

I would never put money into something where the developers want to remain anonymous. This looks REALLY scammy. Even if it is legit, it would be the holy grail of cryptocurrency. But since there is no holy grail, I doubt half of this will be real especially since aurora, aphrodite, spain and whatevercoins there are, I would be really careful with my money
