9201  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Q&A][TIPS] Tanya Jawab Seputar Bounty Di Sini on: September 11, 2018, 10:26:23 AM
Mau menambahkan tips tentang penulisan artikel.

See?

9203  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Talk has made me a bit sad today. on: September 11, 2018, 09:38:59 AM
There seems to be an increase in infographics and other annoying ( to me ) images, and these large blocks are often quoted, which magnifies the problem. If you can't understand a concept by reading a bit of text, then what chance have you got of understand the concept of crypto, of course this assumes that posters can produce a coherent description. Images are handy for statistical graphs of course, but there is no need to keep re-quoting them throughout a thread. This seems to be indicative of a drift towards a schoolroom posting community. There would also seem to be a belief that creating amateurish infographics is a way to earn merits.

Definitely what happens in my local board too. Fighting them is a bit tiring as I have to wait 7 seconds before I can report another post. Luckily there is an alternative for that, but the amount of unnecessary images, blockquotes, and so on is definitely annoying. Most of them don't care about anything except money, I can feel what you feel (at least that's what I think).

I'm getting desperate to fix my local board problems, there is only ~5 members who're actively fighting the spam, compared to 300 members who keep spamming every day, cheating bounties and etc. Unless they got red trust (read: can't get money using their account) they won't learn and don't care with the rules.

Hopefully, you won't stop doing what you've done, we need more members like you.

Looks like a pretty solid plagiarism to me. Even his image link is the same as yours, just like you said.

Have you contacted the mod on Bitcoingarden? I think he deserves a ban.
9205  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: One-fund.io - SCAM? - Fake Team on: September 11, 2018, 09:15:46 AM
Your LinkedIn profiles look very suspicious:
Only 16 connections, description of his profile was written incorrectly (not using capital letter). No previous works explained,
- https://www.linkedin.com/in/deniz-yildiz-a39892168/
This is weirder, only 1 connection and he describes One Share in his profile which is kinda weird and unusual for a professional person.

So far there is two possibility:
- The profiles are recently created, before doing this project your team never used LinkedIn and probably didn't have any experience of notable works before.
- The profiles are recently created, but it is a fake person, there is no Joao or his other friend.

Probably need to do an image search.

Recently we, the founders of the ONE SHARE project, hired individuals after an online selection to handle some important tasks of our project. All meetings were done in a decentralized format and online conference.

How did you conduct your "online conference"? Just chatting with each other without further video call/identity proof? It's pretty weird that if you wanted to start your own project you don't even bother confirming the identity of your candidate.

Btw, why don't you post a video or something like that to clarify the situation? After all you've already posted your public profile, so I suppose you don't have any problems 'exposing' yourself more.
9206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We Can't Read News Instead of Social Media Report Spam the Thread on: September 10, 2018, 11:30:03 AM
I don't really understand the reason that some of the bounty managers still stick to 'old' way of reporting which could spam the thread. There are two reasons I can think of, first to prove that the owner of the account really join the bounty and the next one is to bump their bounty thread to the first page.  It's really disturbing especially if there are some users who keep quoting their old post and make a hard-to-read quote pyramid.

9209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What tools do you use for technical analysis? on: September 10, 2018, 05:42:46 AM
On PC I use tradingview on mobile I'm using Tabtrader. Most of the indicators that I'm using is bollinger bands, RSI, MACD, 4EMA(On trading view made by philakone),stochastic RSI.

Isn't using tradingview a bit complex? Where did you trade btw? Why don't use the internal trading tools by the exchange that you use?

Tabtrader is a nice choice, support many exchange sites and you can trade directly with it. You can try FoxyTrader too, however it only support Bittrex account last time I used it.
9210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What tools do you use for technical analysis? on: September 10, 2018, 04:42:24 AM
Looking to get into crypto trading and I'm curious what tools do you use for technical analysis?

Not really sure what do you mean by "tools". Did you mean indicator? Bollinger Bands, MACD and etc for me is indicator/technical indicator, so probably we have a different understanding here.

But if you really mean something like Bollinger Bands and etc, then I use plenty of them. It also depends on your trading style though, do you like scalping? Then BB and StochRSI with MACD is probably a good combination. You should also learn about the timeframe and EMA/SMA as it is important to understand the long-term price movement (probability).

Visit babypips and investopedia, you can start learning from there.
9211  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What about an association between cash and cryptos? on: September 10, 2018, 04:19:31 AM
A common observation can be made by any crypto user: negotiate, acquire or convert crypto-currencies is a long-term, restrictive and expensive process that requires a certain level of expertise. It can be easily observed on trading platform pages dedicated to the 'transaction fees" or "processing times".

Not sure why this point comes up. There are many ways for you to get cryptocurrencies, such as using localbitcoints, DEX, buying directly from a trusted user here and so on. Even If you only use an exchange to get cryptos, the process is not that long and complex depends on what exchange that you use. A basic knowledge about an exchange and how it works is essentially the same as basic knowledge about other things that you must understand before you use it, so I don't understand why it is a drawback.

The concept and functioning of electronic cash have been validated by crypto-currencies’ functioning.  Both are dematerialized currencies which directly contains their own value and serve freely accessible transactions. They both protect their users’ independence and privacy.

Wrong. For any crypto, in order to use it, you don't have to register on banks or something like that. In fact, you can have as many wallets as you wanted and use it freely, unlike that electronic cash or digital money from banks or other platforms.

I am convinced that the Blockchain environment and the real world, together with the crypto-currency and cash currency ecosystems, are meant to meet each other as they share common and often complementary features. They have the same functionnalities as well. A perfect adaptability would also make bridges to between both environment for a better integration.

Define complementary and common features, please?
9212  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good Bitcoin Articles (more than 350 articles organized by topics) on: September 10, 2018, 04:08:19 AM
The list is quite good, most of them is an article from a news site, steemit, medium etc. Not pretty bad for a start, but you have to understand some basic knowledge about crypto to prevent getting the wrong idea about what is being talked about. Don't use the list as the only source to learn about Bitcoin because it was written by a person who has some tendencies.

I personally like this link: https://github.com/cmahon/awesome-cryptocurrency. It's a list on its own and it's pretty good.

I don't know why it's receiving so little attention, perhaps you could post the full link instead of a bit.ly as it's never clear what's really on there  Roll Eyes
and maybe it'd be a good idea to make an actual list here to make it more discussable?

Have you even clicked the link itself? The list is quite broad.

I actually have gone through the list and most of the article re route to the third party sites. I think that might be a some kind of turn off, We have already so many good articles created in this forum , they have discussion on it by various member that prove/verify the idea present.
But in third party site there is no discussion/ no counters and I have no idea if the article has real facts or just rubbish so I avoid these kind of list and articles.

Finding the 'article' in this forum is quite hard because of spam. You can look for the opposite view on Google if you want to double check it I guess. Takes more time though.
9213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your Public Key is Your Identity on: September 10, 2018, 03:51:14 AM
So does it mean that we can't just easily signed an address or else bugs will just compromise the message? Huh

You can, pooya is telling you about the chance that some altcoin software might have a bug and that not everybody here owns that, so using that signed message has some inherent risk. Unless you trust/already review the software and unless there is other member who also use that software, there is no way using that signed message is good enough.

Regardless which own you're using, signed message/public key is not that relevant anymore because somebody can just sell it alongside the account they're selling (happened many times). This is probably one of the reasons why account recovery takes a very long time.
9214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake team VS no team on ICO. on: September 09, 2018, 02:40:55 PM
Few scammers defending on scam accusation that some ICO never used team. Also we are not exposing them who have no team on website. Let me give answer who is like to defend fake team. To be honest Fake team is more dangerous from no team.

I'm surprised if there is really a member who defend an ICO with a fake team. Sometimes I think they're paid by those scammers too.

Using a fake team is not only dangerous for potential investors but can also spoil others reputation. They're literally using other photo/identity and make other people think that the ICO is backed by some great people. What happens if there's an exit scam? Like it or not, the real person will likely get questioned. Unless s/he can defend themselves, it's quite probable that they'll be considered a scammer too.

I actually think that fake team is more or less like there is no real team behind the ICO, as it is impossible to sue them unless we can get their real identity which is also quite hard to do or even impossible (when they're using stock photos).
9215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Simple information for beginners on: September 09, 2018, 05:53:18 AM
In fact, in this forum, have a lot of information that is rarely known by beginners.

It's useless to share any info when they don't care at all. What you mentioned is easily accessible when they want to spend ~20 minutes of their time to read and browse pinned/sticky thread on whatever sections you visited. There is no need to create another thread to inform about this.
9216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: September 09, 2018, 03:26:47 AM
I think a lot of the success of an ICO depends on whether they can deliver on their promises. No unrealistic promises were made and action is better than words.

Definitely true. Action speaks louder than words, I personally tend to be pessimistic about any promises from any ICO, as most of the time it won't come true because of many things, delayed, market conditions, advice from an advisor, and etc. I believe all of those promises were only marketing strategies to attract investor/bounty hunters if that counts. Let's see how BQT turns out.
9217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your Public Key is Your Identity on: September 09, 2018, 01:36:13 AM
For me, Privat e key is much better if you create your own key not from your identity,

No. If you make your private key your "identifier" in this forum/other crypto space, then you're essentially giving away your assets and your wallet. It makes me wonder did you really understand private key at all, 'cause you compare it to your date of birth or password.

I think verifying bitcoin address is only useful when it comes verifying someone's identity. Nowadays, signed bitcoin address does not help bitcointalk users recover their account when it gets hacked or stolen.

That's because recovering an account needs extra work. Sometimes a hacked account was sold alongside the address that was signed by the previous owner.

Anyways, is there a possible way to also signed ETH address?

Yes, it is. How long you've been in the forum and how much you've learned?
9218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: September 08, 2018, 09:52:39 AM
Afaik they have institutional investors during the private sale and now during this pre-ico I think participating in the Blockchain Summit helped too.

That's definitely awesome. There aren't many projects who perform quite great in this current market, only BQT and some other project that I know of. I heard that the team is currently attending several blockchain meet-ups too. Expecting other millions to jump in here.

It's definitely a good sign, I'm looking to participate on their bounty too to get their tokens Cheesy

9220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Retweets disappearing on: September 08, 2018, 04:53:13 AM
Before you guys spread wild accusations and speculations about what's happening to your tweets, have you f'ing read the article that has been posted by terrific above?

Quote
We only display your 3,200 most recent Tweets.

Source: https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/missing-tweets

So the answer is simple: your retweets/tweets that got 'deleted' are out of that 3,200 tweets. Use IFFT or Tweeteraser to keep your own retweeted links if you have to.

I have critical issue regarding Twitter Campaign, I am doing daily tweets and retweets for more than 20 campaign.

Assuming one campaign requires you to do 5 RT per week and do 1 self-tweets, it already amounts up to 120 tweets per week IF you only join 20 campaign. It's pretty reasonable that after one month your past RT will get canceled by Twitter as you might produce at minimum 480 tweets monthly. If you want to know the exact reason, contact Twitter directly.
