Its not a shitcoinexchange where you trade in microBTC-sizes.
So the comparing of Networktraffic wont show comparable traded volumes.
Buying/selling 20BTC is nothing at Bitfinex.
At Cryptopia, you are a whale with 20BTC.

Again: The price of the token at exchanges has nothing to do with the profit of the closed fund.
Maybe you dont understand the nature of taas...

From my amount of BTC-Funds at Cryptopia 14% were taken.

I didnt even know any BTC were stolen, thought it were only ETH and ETH-tokens.

scorpio hat unrecht. Es gibt keinen geschenkten Kredit (negativ Zinsen).
Im übrigen ist es wirklich nicht so daß "keiner mit den Banken arbeiten will".
Crypto ist vom Volumen und der Marktbedeutung her ungefähr ein Fliegenschiss im Vergleich zu Fiat und damit auch dem Volumen der Banken.

Es gibt kredite von Privatpersonen, zB auxmoney und viele andere Platformen.
Aber auch da wird man eher nix bekommen bei 2%/Jahr. Noch dazu ohne Sicherheiten.

Ich würde auch niemals zu so einem Zinssatz Geld geben, schließlich gibts ein sehr hohes Ausfallpotential ;-)

@Scorpio: bitte sag mir mal, welche Bank für negative Zinsen Geld verleiht.

Kenne nur neg. Zinsen bei Autokrediten, die sind aber immer zweckgebunden und die Bank verdient
am überhöhten Warenpreis.
Sprich wennst mit Cash ein Auto kaufst, bekommst 20% Preisnachlass.
Kaufst per Finanzierung, bekommst du vielleicht 1-2% negative Zinsen, zahlst aber vollen Kaufpreis :-)

Dann ist die Sicherheit der vorzulegende Einkommensnachweis ;-)

Ausserdem ist ein reiner Konsumkredit nicht für 2% zu haben...

A financial fund has to keep its promises,
that means quarterly reports and transparency about the holded assets.
Taas never promised profits and I dont blame they didnt generate some the last 12Months.
Everyone in the crypto world lost money in this market...
But I expect PUBLISHED REPORTS. But I dont find anything recent on their website.
This smells fishy.

The balance is from before hack.
It says nothing about the current status,
anyway cryptopia didnt publish yet how they will handle the losses.

Full Refund?
Distribute the losses to all users?
Leave only the users holding affected coins with the losses?
Create tradeable Dept-Tokens they will change slowly to coins?

Nobody can use cryptopia now, its read only and it shows only the balance before the hack,
so nobody knows how much is left NOW.
But anyway thats a positive step forward.
Sure many will use it after the hack too.
Almost all exchanges were hacked already,
it depends how much they learn and how they handle the loss.
At least if they come back, its almost a proof that they were not the scammers.
At least no exit scam.

Because thats a proof that they are legit.
Sure their way of communication with their users was terrible.
Let us wait without notice weeeks...
That was unprofessional.
Their exchange-website was not, dont understand how anyone could say its a unprofessional site.
In the altcoinworld it was/is one of the big players.

Anyway, nothing is 100% safe from hackers.
Almost any big exchange was hacked already.
So if they learn, its good.
And if we lost onedigit percentage, its at least no total desaster.

Dont tell me the story of your keys-your coins .
Everyone has a slightly different usecase for exchanges.
With my usage, I cannot keep my coins home and safe.

Anyway we will see monday thats their schedule for reopening...as READ ONLY

Its not only the loosing funds because of falling markets. Everybody lost,especially the ICOs, so i dont blame.
What I miss is communication and quarterly reports. They are not on the taas site.
Also I dont understand how I can see what values they really hold.
If it would be a real world(fiat) financial fund , simply not doing reports, it would have been closed by authorities since long time...
To me there is a bad taste of shady...

...but its true, if they are not shady and will recover, now is a top timing to buy because its undervalued.
I dont understand how the management of a fund is not interessed to lift the exchangeprice of its shares by more transparency
and reliable communication.
Any Fiat fund does that and wants to see the value of the shares go up.
