941  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-29] Russian Hotels to Surprise World Cup Fans with Bitcoin Payments on: March 30, 2018, 09:48:51 AM
I am from Russia and I apparently skipped such news, cause of it is the first time I hear something like that!
But the price for hotels stays attached to fiat price. Nowadays the price for bitcoin fell and such payment is going to be about 0,04 BTC, but the price is not stable and in a short time 0,04 BTC can be 300-600-900$ and above. The idea is interesting, but i would rather pay in cash from the start to not skip possible profit from bitcoin's future raise.
It's nice seeing an answer from a Russian citizen. I got your point. I think it's not only you who would think that way after seeing the news since we saw a higher Bitcoin price before than it is now. On the other hand, we are all aware that Bitcoin price flactuates in no particular time. 2018 FIFA World Cap will be held on June and the Bitcoin price could go higher (though can go even much lower too) on or before that month. Who knows?

I just hope that there will be fans who will still support / use this payment method regardless of the BTC-USD conversion at the time.
942  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange: which one to choose to start trading? on: March 30, 2018, 08:25:53 AM
If you only have 0.001 BTC to trade with, then withdrawal fees actually is a huge part. Most exchanges will have withdrawal fees of 0.0003 BTC or above, even though the actual transaction fees are much lower now. So I'd definitely recommend saving up some more before you actually decide to deposit your money into an exchange to trade, otherwise there is really nothing to be earned as all your profits will be eaten away by withdrawal fees.
[...]
All profits? You should not say that this early because we wouldn't be sure on how well his trading activity will go or how much profit exactly he would have.

Anyway, @_bitnux_ , I'll also go with Binance. I am using different platforms and all is working well with me, but not for others. If I compare them all, Binance has fewer number of complaints/issues. Please double check first all the minimum withdraw amount and fees before making any deposit, better to know ahead. Good luck!
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: March 30, 2018, 05:50:47 AM
On my mobile wallet, I checked chat > Bot Store > SilentNotary ICO

I was surprised seeing that the ICO is active until 15 March 2018 only which I knew to be until April. I double checked it on Silent Notary website plus telegram and the ICO is still on going, confirmed to end on April 12th. Therefore, it was a mistake in the Byteball wallet.

Just letting you know.  ~
944  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nano Deposit Stuck on Binance on: March 29, 2018, 10:46:13 PM
I don't think contacting them again will solve the problem. What you need to do is to wait because most likely you will receive your deposit once they enable the wallet again.

Nano team said that they are working to fix the issue and getting Binance deposits open is their priority in their reddit comment here. I hope it calms you a bit.

946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i add different name debit card for CEX.IO? on: March 29, 2018, 03:57:17 AM
Does that mean you are not the owner of the card?
Before you use a card, you should do the verification first by providing card information, ID, and Selfie. The card holder's name of course should match the name in the ID to prove the ownership. It applies not only in CEX, but also in other exchanges.

For reference: CEX.IO - Payment Card Verification Guide
947  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet issue on: March 29, 2018, 01:02:55 AM
I am on a MAC, the wallet is and has been on my desktop, after it runs and says verified it says create new wallet, it does not ask me for my password
Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Zclassic and check whether the files are there especially the wallet.dat . Be sure to back up the wallet.dat file or the whole folder in other destination (in your pc or external hdd/flash drive) just in case.

Try this. Run electrum and create a new wallet, then close. Go to the path again containing the zclassic folder and replace the wallet.dat with your back up file. Check if it works.

951  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BountyPortals.com on: March 26, 2018, 11:31:05 AM
We have launched our portal today, please visit. Currently, one campaign is running: app.bountyportals.com
So is this a one time sign up now or just because there's only one running campaign? I visited your bountyportals thread, but I have not seen an announcement like this plus a brief info about what's new with the site at the moment.

Yes! On this portal, you will have to signup once and then you can join all the bounties by bountyportals.
Actually on this portal currently only one campaign is running. More are coming soon.
That's great. Does it automatically count regardless of how frequent the user is logging in his account? because as far as I remember, the last time I used the old version, users are required to log in everyday in order the stakes to be counted.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit blocked my account for using chat to promote my coin and froze my funds on: March 26, 2018, 10:19:40 AM
No i did not post any link, all i was saying that was that Mlite coin is all green today and rising, buy to make profit, like everybody else was doing, That's all.
I dont know what to do
I hope if anyone could help me out with this. Instead of saying nothing i can do about it.
I don't think anyone could help you here anymore. If you just chat without link and not do anything else before you have been banned, maybe yobit see some suspicious activity or is just banning random accounts. No one will know unless they respomd in yout ticket.

Wow okay, I had no idea yobit thread has been locked for so many months already. And I see confirmation from this thread also (but I can see posts there from this year? So maybe it is locked and unlocked at certain times).
I don't think you visited the ANN thread because the last post there was from December 2017.
953  Other / Archival / Re: Merit Abusers on: March 26, 2018, 02:38:39 AM
Just because the user has sent merits to the same members that he received his merits from doesn't mean that he and the people involved are abusing the system. You should look for more proofs to support your claim. By checking his posts and the merits, it's legit imo.
Well, okay if that's the reason. I'm just trying to help the forum better.
You have a good intention, however, for me you should not accuse anyone without strong/enough proof. If you found the same case again, don't just focus on the merit page, check each other's posts that have been merited before making any claims.

What a copy paster, a little effort exerted indeed. Others do care to post in other thread to hide their doing, but this one is different.  Roll Eyes Please see this account thomaseco.

Do you think it would be a good idea? Before taking any initiative do your research more, gather more knowledge and have the clear vision of the scenario. So that you don’t have to regrade in future.

That can be a good idea. Because Regional Language Managers will able to communicate with those people who has less knowledge over English. It will add up more people in crypto world. That will increase the value of crypto little by little.

I wonder why he copied both from the same user.

This is really a serious matter and it seems that several accounts are sending the same message here in the forum. Everyone should be very cautious.

Btw, this thread was shared to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3190111.20 in the reputation board. EcuaMobi and Vod will surely tag the account like the other one reported in that thread. Much better if you also click the Report to admin link in the lower right corner of the message.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I want to ban users who repeat registration to Telegram. on: March 25, 2018, 10:54:35 PM
What do you really mean with someone repeats registration by changing accounts? Please explain further with what you asked in the registration and how the users repeat the process. Also, in the title you've mentioned you want to ban, but in the content you just ask how to prevent it.

If what you want is to allow only one response per user, it is possible using google forms. The thing is every user should sign in their google account before the registration. The owner of the account should not worry as their email address won't be recorded and will be used only to restrict registering again with the same account. The cons is, it is still possible for a user to register again by using a different google account.

For more detailed explanation:
Restrict Google Forms to only Allow One Entry Per Person

PS. If you could explain more, we can think of another solution.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: password myetherwallet on: March 25, 2018, 04:05:26 PM
It is not possible to recover or reset your MyEtherWallet password in any way.
Knowing that now, what else do you wanna ask? If you want to know if it's still possible to access your wallet with just private keys, then the answer is yes. Afaik, MEW does not require a password to access your wallet using the Private Key, you just have to be sure that you're in the right site/correct URL before unlocking it.
959  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does CoinMarketCap (CMC) manipulates the market? on: March 25, 2018, 03:02:23 PM
I agree with the wrong circulating supply.

One coin I was following has a wrong circulating supply detail on CMC. It was reported in the coin's Main Thread here and the team said that it was a mistake by CMC so they sent a request. That one wrong detail affects the Market Cap info as well (Market Cap = Price X Circulating Supply so meaning Wrong Circulating Supply = Wrong Market Cap).

CMC should prioritize updating the coin/token details with the true/accurate info as it was the main reason why people are using it. On the other hand, users should do some research as well, obviously, most people barely verify the data they see on the site with the coins dev/team, so most likely it would lead to a wrong decision.
960  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Problem with Coinapult.com on: March 25, 2018, 07:55:48 AM
It was recorded as cancelled on your Coinapult deposit history?
When did you contact the support? And is it through email or what?

Seems that it's really a problem in the site as several users experienced both deposit and withdrawal issues before as well. Good thing that though it took some time, their problem got solved in the end. Check the links below:
