941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Imminent ICO suggestions? on: September 03, 2017, 12:27:29 PM
Aventus, ConnectWealth, Goldmint, Viberate, Demeter are my list for now...

Any more suggestions?

Add up on the list  KICKICO  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2046684.0.  this is also a promising project as of now and i did participate on their crowdsale. Reading on their whitepaper i can say that this really have the potential.
942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: September 02, 2017, 06:15:52 AM
hard to tell when u can sell. but if u need money. u sell. if u want take back invest. u sell. or I think u should hold. crypto is just begining. it's will be future of world
No doubt it is just the beginning of cryptocurrency trend, this trend is gonna vest more. Actually people think about bitcoin and as a whole of the cryptocurrency just being a currency but in reality it is not only a currency but a fullfledge financial system. A new financial system introduced to the world which is now gaining popularity with the awareness of it's adequate features.
I think no one now a days will be in mood to sell their holdings of bitcoin due to a significant reason. I have cancelled all my plans of selling my bitcoin holdings currently.
yes i agree holding is the best thing to do at this point of time because it is just only a beggening .i think the right time to sell is done due to the year to year price .it is not  nescesary to sell directly .i   observe that holding is profitable  in cryptocurrency world.
Its easy to say on holding for 1 year but actually this thing wont be easy on most traders some of them would really sell out on a short period of months will pass when they do already see some percentage profits from their investments which isnt bad at all but holding off a year will really give you good returns but not guaranteed because this would depend on what coin you do hold up.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How To Mine DogeCoins Using CPU (PC) on: September 02, 2017, 05:48:54 AM
Nope, a bad choice of hardware to use in order to mine and a coin which is not worth mining.
Dogecoin supports the Scrypt algorithm to be mined, just like Litecoin and Bitcoin. That means, that without an ASICs miner, you won't get much profit, even if you use a decent GPU.

First of all, forget CPU mining, you won't make any money from it. However, with a decent CPU and a reasonable coin to mine (XMR, ZCash and plenty more, just look around here) you can definitely make some profit. They feature other Algorithms, which are profitable by GPU mining, unlike the Scrypt algorithm.
They are on different fields and those coins you do mentioned do have their own respective miners which it can be able to mine them. For DOGE it has Srypt algo which would mainly need respective miner on that one. Cpu mining isnt possible on mining it and would never be profitable even on some coins in the market. Most coins now are being mined thru asic and gpu.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: September 02, 2017, 05:11:10 AM
Ethereum will hit $500 in this week. its predict buy a lot of legendary member also some good trader.so I am not selling a single bit Ethereum right now.I think Ethereum is my future .it can gives me a good and brifgr future.so i will hold all of my ETH coin.

I bet the price will not rise to $ 500. The price will start to grow well when the POS is made. In the meantime, there are many problems and errors in Ethereum. The price will be max $ 400, and then it will start to fall.

I disagree.  I estimate that ETH will hit 400$ by Thursday evening and will have a new ATH early next week.  I would say 700$ by the end of the year.  There are alot of devs working on resolving issues and I believe that ethereum has a very bright future.

Well, that's what I said. The price will not rise this week to $ 700. A maximum of $ 400. If you look at the price graph, $ 390-400, you see the resistance level.
Until the end of the year, perhaps the price will grow to $ 1000, all will be from developers.
I see that there is a resistance between $400 and that will need a lot of hype to break the resistance, With come of the ethereum fork and it should be considered as a good thing to buy the ethereum right now.
Remember we will be facing september which considerable as a big month for ethereum.

Correctly.
We need a large volume (many investors) to overcome $ 400.
But not only september is important for the ethereum, but november too (for bitcoin).
Because they can sell the ethereum to buy bitcoin.

I think your wrong. ETH is now 405 in some exchanges. Bitcoin still slow and there are more huge banks and companies joining the EEA. It just a matter of time for ETH to be at thousands and thousands
That's really a good sign for ethereum holders. I think buy ETH will be right choice, there no point to wait for dips since it's going to go up anyways sooner or later.
If you are a short trader then i would say trading on ETH is somehow profitable since its price do still moves as of now which we can able to hedge for profits but not as volatile just like on other coins we do see in the market.Talking about long term i would say that this coin do really have the potential since from the start. Smart contracts would really be a real life good innovation that would really be used by humanity. This is my indication that this coin do really have the potential.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for September on: September 02, 2017, 04:47:51 AM
Please name 1 ICO to buy in September that can be a gem later?

This project do have the potential and even on pre-sale they did make a good progress and it would end up their sale on September last week this is why its not too late to participate. ICO had just been started. If you dont want to miss the train then join this ICO.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best 50 Coins To Hold 3 Years on: September 02, 2017, 03:21:56 AM
Right now, I have a small portfolio but growing and I'm trying to put together a plan to get to 50 Coins that I grow over the next 3 years.
I'm looking at ICO's as well of course.

Currently, I hold:
BQX
CVC
DENT
DNT
GNT
IFT
MBI
NLC2
PAY
SNC
TIX
PROPY
ATL

I'm looking to expand. I dont want to swing trade as I prefer to buy and hold for future home building plans.

What do you think are great coins to add for long term growth?

If you are looking for some 50 coins, it is better to choose the top 20. You still have a remaining 30 for your personally chosen coins even if they are not from the top. Reserve the 10-20 spots for the newly introduced coins in the exchanges with very successful ICOs. If their ICOs are such success then the project and the team might also be a success. Worth investing therefore.
Im quiet confused on what does he mean about 50 coins? In quantity of coins or number of coins he would like to purchase. If he does mean on buying 50 types of coins then as you said choosing top 20 on marketcap would be an ideal thing since most of them do really have good potential even on 20 down below but i do bet you cant able to afford to put all your money on all of those coins. Most coins have been mentioned out and i do recommend the same thing too.
947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: September 01, 2017, 06:10:07 PM
I believe that both day trading of bitcoin or crypto currency and holding bitcoin are all profitable, but trading is not suitable For everybody most especially if you don't have good knowledge of the technicality involved in trading crypto currency.  So many people lost their money as a result of panic of the event that took place during 1st August.
Both are really profitable if you do really know on how to do it specially on short trading. It is indeed hard and its not really an easy thing and does require knowledge and experience for you to be profitable. This is why some would really fail up on short trading and later on they would decide its better to hold than to risk but i would say its really a nice decision rather than risking on the things that you didnt even know on what you are doing.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: September 01, 2017, 04:45:59 PM
Ethereum will not replace Bitcoin but it will pursue its current role: be the central and driving platform of the smart contract technology.

Yes, ethereum can not replace Bitcoin. But the successor still seems to take a long time, because we know bitcoin as digital currency or its parent coin, so it could be bitcoin will go down but it took a few decades back. It may be hard work to be able to compete with bitcoin because bitcoin is very popular right now, starting from the price and usage every day. I think for this year no one can replace bitcoin position.

I do not think anyone will be able to replace bitcoin, because if eth gets higher, bitcoin will be affected by the exchange trend, some exchanges markets start using eth to pair with fiat, this is their serious step to ready to shift bitcoin in the future, but will not affect bitcoin volume.
Its core no one can replace bitcoin. Since bitcoin is the parent of all altcoins, nothing will replace it. altcoin as an alternative to coins other than bitcoin. in which altcoin moves according to the existing bitcoin exchange rate. Most people use altcoin as the fastest way to collect bitcoin.
You said was right nothing can beat up bitcoin since its the father or king of all crypto but thinking off that nothing on this world is permanent on its spot which means we wont know if one of those alts would potentially overtake bitcoin on upcoming years to come.No one really knows on the possibitilies that would happen ahead.Etherium project is great because of smart contracts but i dont see that it would be a big threat for Bitcoin itself.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if all coins disappear?? on: September 01, 2017, 04:10:27 PM
What you will do if that thing will happen someday??

This is an impossible thing and it will not happened but I case what you are saying is right then I and most of my friends here on this forum will be in deep deep trouble as we all lose huge amount of money.
Not only your friends but all people who do engage on crypto world will surely lose money specially on those investors who put big amounts of money to invest on these field.Disappearing all coins would really be impossible as long there are people who do support it this thing wont really happen at all.Unless if theres a great EMP would hit on earth and do shutdown all electricity which would really bring a chaos for sure but thinking off its an impossible thing to happen.
950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Jumps Above $4,800 for the First Time on: September 01, 2017, 02:06:13 PM
Bitcoin's price briefly passed above the $4,800 mark for the first time today.

According to data from CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI), the price of the cryptocurrency hit a high of $4,802.74, before falling back to levels seen over the past few hours of trading.

Guys what would be opinion upcoming months and what is expected price in upcoming year. Normally price use to bump when we nearing new from Dec 20 to Jan 1.
Checking on the latest price on Preev.com it is already on 4811 range which im sure we do really reach on a new ATH on bitcoins price we im really glad that we did able to break that 4500 resistance and now price do play on these ranges 4800 and below and for those investors or users who did bought on 4400 for sure they are on profits as of now specially on short traders. Bumping up its price surpassing 5k level in next month is really possible we are just only $200 away on it.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: September 01, 2017, 01:22:05 PM
In my opinion, ICO is not the best investment option though a good one. Many ICOs are scam and if you are not careful where you wil put your money it might be gone in blink of an eye. Do some research before investing in ICOs and ask some questions like are the development team of this ICO trustworthy and is there future goals attainable. And if you are not satisfied with the answer stick to holding bitcoin and other strong altcoins.
the advantages of investing in ico are very profitable if the project is a success. You can profit tens to hundreds of times of your capital. but lack of ico also a lot, there are many ico scam that often appear every day, it is not something nice to follow. but do your own research to look where is the high quality ico.
It is really our responsibility for us to research first to find a good project or ICO and yes it can really give you potential profits which could reach up 10 to 100x on your initial investment which is really great if you do hit up the right project but if not then expect the loss of money. This is the risk involved on engaging on these kind of investment but well its really worth to take the risk than doing nothing at all.You wont really earn on that way.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: August 31, 2017, 07:08:13 PM
No, no way. Because even the most promising coins after listing on the stock exchange are losing their value. This comes from sabinosa on ICO. Always buy coins on the exchange.
Well let's still give some promising ICO a try. Joining in iCO that we know can succees can assured our earnings. Before investing in an ICO we should analyze iglf it's applicable to be successful by researching it properly for us not to regret it. Investing in an ICo is indeed worth a yry.
We cannot just pick up some ICO and throw money on it without analyzing unless if you are rich and dont matter on the money you are wasting but as an investor and if you do seek for profits then its really our responsibility to search up an ICO which would really be promising and would really be worth on our money. This is our main target which we do participate, invest on a project which do have real world use and at the same time we would able to generate income.
953  Economy / Economics / Re: Major Gold investor is entering Bitcoin market on: August 31, 2017, 06:35:06 PM
I wonder how much of their investment budget they will put into Bitcoin.
This could really mean a huge push forward for Bitcoin, but I also think that Bitcoin will become even more volatile than it is now.

The use of Bitcoin as a currency is becoming less and less likely for the future. But hey, I'm not complaining.
It would really makes the price volatile for sure knowing there would be active trade off when big players did already join the pack but thinking off that this isnt should be the way on which bitcoin should be treated.Seems like its just like a pool for those who do like to make even more money. Adoption is good but having these kind off add up on rich people would really affect.I think he would put 2 Billion on bitcoin.  Grin
954  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I Need an advice about Signature on: August 31, 2017, 05:07:11 PM
Friend, welcome to this forum. I think all members join this forum only for signature campaigns. Its right you can join signature campaigns. But before that you need to read or go through the forum and understand what all sections or threads are there so that you wont get such doubts  . In this section itself there are many threads regarding this. Go through that and you will definitely get the answer .
Sad to say but the thing you said was true,i do strongly believe on the purpose on most people here are joining the forum because of signature because they know they can able to make money on here with just on signature but as been adviced here dont rush up on joining and better to read things up and learn all the stuff along the way and dont be on rush because if you rush things up without proper knowledge then problem will surely arise later on.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly decentralized? on: August 31, 2017, 04:46:35 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized and it's not depending on any central bank, government or regulatory agency. When it comes to manipulation I don't say there is no chance but I think the possibilities are minimal. Minera could be a different story but still I don't think they influence that much.
Well, I absolutely that bitcoin is decentralized and its not depend on any bank. In addition to that, bitcoin is decentralized you can your own bitcoin and you can also use on any things that you want. Bitcoin is a digital currency and its own power. Lastly, bitcoin do not depend on any bank or government so that you can say that bitcoin is decentralized.
All the things you do said was right.Bitcoin isnt related or not connected on any bank or institutions which it can stand alone without the need of those things. Bitcoin is a decentralized crpytocurrency on which it does give you the full control of your funds and not only that you can make transfers from point A to B without any 3rd party involved and do have less fees which i can say that this thing is really a great innovation on a new payment system.

957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Crypto with Paypal on: August 31, 2017, 02:02:13 PM
Thanks for the replies everyone! I have learned something new in this regard anyway today  Smiley
Ok I will check out Localbitcoins and Paxful, If I dont see anything appealing I will just
Withdraw the funds and buy crypto from my Bank account as normal.
Localbitcoins is the most common place when it comes on exchanging paypal funds into crpyto or bitcoin itself and as being said above just be careful on the users to whom you are  dealing with since there are lots of scammers lurking on there this is why you should really be attentive and if you do have doubts then better stick on your traditional ways on buying coins.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unsuccessful ICO - Terrible experience and what you can learn from it on: August 31, 2017, 11:51:05 AM
My experience on ETT and SONM is pretty worse I lose some capital on these ICO and it's totally a waste of time for spending some bucks on this project. And I think I will never ever do tradeds on this coin again since I think the dev of this tokens are selfish and no plan to give a good credits to his investors.
Sad to hear for your loss and i did lose money on joining on ICO, i didnt remember which coin since there are lots of project i did join and some of them do fail and some comes success. This is why im on break even side i guess. Before investing on an ICO i do usually see first if the developers are active on the community and always giving updates regarding  on their project and mostly i do engage to those who have real life products.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the NSA identified Satoshi Nakamoto on: August 30, 2017, 05:05:08 PM
There's a difference between discovering Satoshi's identity and "catching" Satoshi.

Which is it? Are you claiming the US has Satoshi in custody? I highly doubt that.

As for knowing his identity, it has to be possible to find out. The NSA would have to start with metadata attached to the white paper and perhaps email or forum records. He left a trail on this forum, IP addresses and such (even if using TOR).
Okay. Caught maybe the wrong word to use and should of been not referring satoshi as a pokemon to be caught.
Alright they have Discovered the identity of Mr.Nakamoto.

They mention about "fingerprint" so this might be the way they discovered him to be the founder of bitcoin.
A fingerprint can be left either intentional or by accident in the code he created or the whitepaper he wrote.

It is also mentioned it will be revealed to the world in a months time.
That fingerprint means that it is basing on the actual writing which they can able to trace it out even on how you do write which it is really like a fingerprint. The thing that worries me that government could really able to find a certain person if they want to by just accessing all the possible places even on social medias, emails or any other things which is essential to their investigation.
960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New scheme? on: August 30, 2017, 03:28:25 PM
Pump and dump. All know.

I think something new is coming up. Right now this is being done with Embercoin. This coin does nothing. Execept making some money for youtubers. Cause... they dont get paid shit and thus justifie to themselves doing things like this, but its not right.

So... they spread fake news about "rebranding" and creating fake news around it. Then it shows u can stake this coin with 720% profit... Huh But  what do you get for staking? Exactly more useless coins. Youtubers promote these so they can sell m for exactly that, profit.

What does Embercoin do? It does nothing. Except taking ur money. So if ur not in it, dont fall for this kinda new setup pump and dump. In my view. I was lucky to get out in time with a lill loss but its carnage at Livecoin, people sitting with millions of coins realising this isnt working and invested $1000's. Because: "u have to have more now to get rewards" Then they realise that its not working, and i can only imagine the panic as i had. But... i was a embercoin millionaire  Undecided

Complete ponzischeme really.

It is pump and dump 2.0

If anyone can explain its not, then i take my words back. But get out while u can imo.

Its not actually a surprising thing since this is just a normal thing here on crypto trading world. Pump and dump schemes are usual on those shit coins in the market and if you are careless then you will fall into the pit and would end up on losing all of your capital on severe cases. Embercoin? I have heard such coin but nothing goes into my interest and those youtubers out there that you mention they are just hyping up the coin and its a normal task for them because they do anything just to get buyers on the coin and when they accumulate enough then its dump time.
