961  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join best bounty and earn money? on: August 31, 2023, 10:46:27 AM
Someone who deals in cryptocurrency trading should have at least a little understanding of the concept behind bounty campaigns. Unfortunately, we once again see how the influence of social networks brings people to the forum with only one goal, and that is to try to earn something, without actually doing anything but copy/pasting links from morning to night and hoping to get the promised reward.
The concept behind bounties is their teams use tokens that can be minted from thin air to run their bounties as bounty rewards. Even bounty hunters receive those promised tokens from bounties, they still have risk that those tokens mean nothing on the market in value.

A bigger risk for bounty hunters is, teams are free to run away and refuse all responsibility to distribute tokens at the end. If their fund raising process is failed, if their project is flagged as scam by communities, they will have no reason to even spend ETH or BNB as transaction fees to distribute zero value tokens.

Quote
I know that some will say that there are bounty campaigns where you can make some money, but that's like looking for a needle in a haystack - not to mention the moral side of promoting such projects that mostly fail or turn out to be scams.
They do this because they think it is easy to complete bounty tasks and hope that tokens they receive will have high prices in a bull run but they must know

How many cryptocurrencies have failed?
962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spot Bitcoin ETF Approval Odds Rise to 75% (Bloomberg) on: August 31, 2023, 01:36:52 AM
This is important information here. Reading only the title of this thread can be misleading. Balchunas thinks it's almost certain that spot ETF will get approval, but it's a question of when not if.
It is a question WHEN, not YES/ NO question. I agree with you that Bitcoin Spot EFT will be approved in the USA. People are only speculating when it will be approved a first time.

Quote
Also, BlackRock has an almost 100% ETF approval rate (>99.8% per quick google search) and I don't think giants like them would even bother filing for it if they didn't know it'll get approved.
It's reason to hype the market latest months after BlackRock applied their Bitcoin Spot ETF. The hearing of US Congress against SEC Chairman Gensler and his failure to response to questions, give the crowd more belief that SEC and Gensler will have less freedom to arbitrarily regulate cryptocurrency market as well as make decisions on approvals of Bitcoin Spot ETF.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 31, 2023, 12:50:58 AM
Benjamin Pavard was under contract with Bayern Munich and he had one year left of his contract with this team but he wanted to leave Bayern Munich, that's why this player left his team for Inter Milan. According to the last news, he was doing Medical tests to sign the contract with Inter Milan. Lothar Matthäus, the legend of Bayern Munich said Inter Milan had a good season and they were in the Champions League final match but leaving Bayern Munich to Iner Milan is not an upgrade.

https://football-italia.net/matthaus-bayern-to-inter-not-an-upgrade-for-pavard/
Pavard and Hernandez joined Bayern after World Cup 2018 and after 5 years, their time in Bayern Munich is counting down. I agree with Matthaus about his opinion on this transfer and career of Pavard. Inter Milan only suddenly got a successful season in Champions League and they are like other Italian clubs, hardly to repeat success in some consecutive seasons with their limited player resources and transfer budgets.

Italy always has good coach brains and they are genius in tactics but Bayern Munich surely are stronger than Inter Milan and they are more competitive in Champions League. So if Pavard leaves Bayern to join Inter Milan for an upgrade in his career with titles, it seems not correct. However, if it is to upgrade his defense skills, it is his good choice. He will learn more about defense in Serie A with Inter Milan.
964  Economy / Economics / Re: BRICS has become eleven countries instead of five. on: August 30, 2023, 09:39:17 PM
Establishing new economic partnerships is never a bad idea. Joining BRICS does not mean severing relations with the United States and Europe, or even challenging them.
Agree because we see even inside NATO, Turkey did not choose side between the USA., NATO, Russia and Ukraine. They have trades with all those nations and they are still in NATO.

Quote
The United Arab Emirates found itself for the first time in an alliance with its neighbor Iran, despite the dispute between them, as well as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
UAE have trades with many big nations that try to make their influence on UAE but it is not easy because UAE knows that they can work with all and should not make any harmful decision for their future relationships and trade chances with any big nation. Like after the Russia-Ukraine war, the USA, China and Russia all had some conversations in the UAE.

Quote
In fact, we do not know what criteria were agreed upon to choose to invite any of the countries, except that the process was in the form of suggestions from the first members, and not based on requests to join.
I also believe that BRICS has become a media phenomenon that is given more than its value in assessing its capabilities in reality.
A first criterion is not be a member of NATO because BRICS is created and expanded to build up a multipolar world and to compete with NATO. Other criteria, to be honest, I don't know but likely they are prioritizing nations with big economy sizes.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 30, 2023, 09:29:45 PM
Luis Enrique started his first season at PSG with two draws from three matches. That's not a good statistic as fans expected more wins from Ligue 1's best team. Ligue 1 may not be considered difficult by some people, but in fact PSG still finds several good teams to become competitors every season. PSG's squad depth this season is different compared to the last two seasons, so I don't think they will really completely dominate Ligue 1 without increasing the quality of play and squad depth.
They have warmed up yet for this season and with PSG, when they are on fire, no clubs in Ligue 1can stop them in previous seasons. This season can be a different one after they let many star players go in the summer. I agree with you about their squad depth in this season, which is less depth than the past, and it will cause them more trouble when they season goes more.

Is it coincidence when PSG started to win in Ligue 1 with return of Mbappe on field? I guess it is not coincidence and only shows the considerable and important role of Mbappe with them in this season.

Quote
This week PSG will travel to Lyon. It should be an easy match to predict the outcome, but Lyon could surprise even though they haven't won a single match in the last 3 matches. PSG have struggled to score goals in the last 3 matches, but Mbappe's return to the squad will add to their attack power again.
Lyon is a name from the past. They actually dominated Ligue 1 in the past and Benzema is a young player who debuted in Lyon. I see similarity between Benzema and Mbappe even Benzema left Lyon at a younger age than Mbappe. He joined Real Madrid and became a legend in Bernabeu so it is interesting to see another player with similar importance for club will join Real Madrid from a club that has been dominating Ligue 1 last decade.

Spot Bitcoin ETF Approval Odds Rise to 75%

Bitcoin ETF Odds Jump Again Following Grayscale Victory
SEC did not approve any Spot Bitcoin EFT so far in the USA. and the latest lawsuit against Grayscale does not mean SEC will approve Grayscale Bitcoin Spot ETF.

The Odds rise only reflects that more chance to see a first Bitcoin Spot ETF in the USA. with approval from SEC but we just don't know when they will have to make such approval. It's interesting to see the odds rise and positive thinking in the community. I believe it will come but not in this year with only 3 months left. If it comes, it will come next year in a bull market because a first Bitcoin Spot ETF in the USA. will be a very big positive news for the market. Logically it should not come in a bear market like this year.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin movement: my thought on: August 30, 2023, 01:39:44 PM
To the people who know the use of Bitcoin it is a good convenience to them because they don't need to make another transaction into fiat currency just deposit immediately and they can make a transaction of course it's different because there's a fee unlike paying into fiat currency that is 1:1 or an exclusive VAT or not or included with tax.
This kind of news can be a big deal because they adopted the use of Bitcoin known of it is rising again and people can accept this as their payment and possible price movement again if a large organization accepts this.
At the moment, you can not pay everything with your bitcoin but the adoption is better than a couple of years ago. I expect to see better adoption in future for bitcoin so we can use bitcoin to pay for more services and things in future too.

The world will continue to have existence of fiat currency and in future, we will also have CBDCs. They will be used together with bitcoin and cryptocurrency in societies. With Bitcoin on chain transactions, you will have to pay transaction fee that can be more expensive than with bank transfer.

If you care about privacy, you will choose Bitcoin  network to use and pay on chain transaction fee and don't sacrifice your privacy to use banks with bank transfer.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 30, 2023, 01:12:00 PM
No matter how experienced they are, players need some time to get adjusted to the conditions and team tactics.
Conditions mean many things including league style, favorite tactics in the league, tactics of a club and team mates as well as environmental conditions like temperature and moisture. It's challenging for players from Europe to adapt to temperature and moisture in Middle East and they actually need time.

Quote
And this is exactly what happened to Ronaldo during last season. He didn't got enough time to build a bonding with other players and initially he struggled to get adjusted to the ground and weather conditions. However, Sadio Mané didn't faced any such issues ever since he started playing for Al Nassr. My guess is that he got adjusted quickly because weather conditions at his home (Senegal) is similar to what they have in Saudi Arabia.
Al Nassr in the last season and now is very different. They already have some players to improve their midfield and attacking areas so Sadio Mane actually has better conditions than Cristiano Ronaldo months ago. As a player from Africa, Mane has better ability to adapt to Middle East temperature and moisture than Cristiano and he is younger than Ronaldo which is another better factor he has.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 29, 2023, 10:32:12 AM
Yes indeed, it is very rare for Atletico to win with such a big score. What's more, in the previous two matches also that Rayo Vallecano can win with clean sheets. But who would have thought, on the third mathday Rayo Vallecano was actually beaten by Atletico with a score of 0-7.
Such big defeats usually occur when losers entirely collapses in a match and they give up without any effort to pull the match back. Not only Vallecano but we barely saw some big defeats from big clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal or national team like Brazil lost against Germany 1 - 7 in World Cup 2014.

Quote
In addition, about Atletico next match which will play at home against Sevilla, at least I think it is not a difficult match for Atletico. Because after all, the fact is that Sevilla is currently also at the bottom of the La Liga standings because Sevilla has received three consecutive defeats. With the poor record that Sevilla has at this moment, then I personally firmly believe that Atletico will still win in the home match against Sevilla in the next match.
Sevilla got bad results in previous matches and it looks to be a good chance for Atletico Madrid to get three points from Sevilla. Though Sevilla are in a very poor form, Atletico Madrid should not play carelessly in that match as Sevilla still have many good players and they can bounce back to beat Atletico Madrid.

Seven goals from six players is impressive. It shows that Atletico Madrid has competent strikers and is not depending on any player.
It's impressive and shows that Atletico Madrid can have goals from many players. They don't rely on a single player to score goals but as a big club, they need to have an outstanding striker to win titles. In La Liga, they are still weaker than Barcelona and Real Madrid so even they won big against Vallecano, I don't feel positive about their chance to win La Liga.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 29, 2023, 04:12:32 AM
Will the loss of Messi and Neymar affect PSG performance, which will end their dominance in Ligue 1, which they have controlled for the last few years? Enrique came after PSG fearsome trio had broken apart, now leaving only Mbappe who was supported by players who had just been brought in. Two draws and one win are not great achievements for a team that always finishes at the top of Ligue 1.
Messi, Neymar left the club and a missing of Mbappe in early matches by internal ban on him affected PSG a lot but they should get rid of dependence on Mbappe. A strong club is a club can play together as an united and strong team that is not what PSG have over recent years. They are showing that they won't get rid of such dependence in this season so logically they won't get better results in Champions League.

Quote
This season the competition in Ligue 1 is getting livelier, Luis Enrique must show his quality as an experienced coach who has won several prestigious trophies to keep PSG on the path it has taken in the last few seasons.
The competition in Ligue 1 became more interesting since the last season and sometimes PSG made us feel that they would have lost Ligue 1 trophy in the past season. They won it eventually but they may not be able to win it in this season if again they more focus on Champions League while their player resource is no longer good enough to dominate Ligue 1.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 29, 2023, 03:58:53 AM
It seems there is bad news for Al Ittihad and their fans because Karim Benzema one of the most important players in Al Ittihad is injured and his situation is still unknown for the next games. Today Al Ittihad won the game against Al Wahda but in the first half Benzema got injured and he had to leave the game.
Since the next game against Al Hilal can be a head game for Al Ittihad, that's important for them to have this player.

It is bad news for them as their most valued player got an injury and they still have to pay him high salary. Benzema is no longer a young player so any injury from minor to serious will take more time for recovery than young players. It will take him a few weeks to recover and Ittihad will not have him for coming matches. It likely becomes a bigger issue for the club than usual as after this summer transfer, more clubs in Saudi Professional League had more star players from Europe and they are stronger and more ready to challenge Al Ittihad.

Before the arrival of Karim Benzema Ittihad FC was already a strong team and their striker Abderrazak Hamdallah became one of the most productive strikers in this league, so Karim Benzema's injury will not really affect their appearance, especially so far Karim Benzema seems to have difficulty adapting to his team
The appearance of Benzema in Al Ittihad is similar to the appearance of Cristiano Ronaldo in Al Nassr. Both clubs had good strikers, Hamdallah and Talisco before two European strikers came.

They can use those strikers when Benzema or Ronaldo misses a match by a suspension or an injury but in a long season, contributions from those star players are important for Ittihad and Nassr. They made the league more attractive and more competitive from club to individual races, from a league trophy to an award for best scorer.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No, Elon Musk's SpaceX Isn't the Cause of This Multi-Billion-Dollar Bloodbath on: August 29, 2023, 01:46:02 AM
Whenever the price of Bitcoin goes down ,there are endless rumours in the market . Whatever news is there ,not a single news on social media proves that the price of Bitcoin has decreased because of this .Yes of course it will give us all a joy which is going to happen soon if it becomes an ETF proof then Bitcoin will become a legal asset if it happens then it's price will go into million which we all Bitcoin will give you a very nice surprise. When Bitcoin becomes a legal asset, all investors will jump on it , then Bitcoin making it a shining of star .
You always have reasons why market goes down as market makers will give you news to find reasons. Social media is their tool to spread their prepared explanations on reason of market movements that is part of their plans for market manipulation.

Market can go up and down with many news, Bitcoin Spot ETF approval or rejection is only one of news types and actually is not real reason of market movement. Market needs to have cash flow in and out to make up its momentum. If it does not have enough fresh capital in, it will lose momentum and price will start to decrease after that.

People who don't have enough experience will feel very excited with news about Bitcoin Spot ETF approval and highly disappointed or fearful when a rejection is released on social media. Approval or rejection, the market is still lively and continue to grow more so if they don't read news on social media, they will feel better and won't panic sell or FOMO buy.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 29, 2023, 01:33:03 AM
This 16-year-old player is performing very well at this age and he can even have the potential to be the next Messi for Barcelona, game against Villarreal he had an amazing performance, and even Xavi talked about this player at the conference after the game.
Lamine Yamal is a younger player who played for Barcelona in La Liga in a game against Real Betis when he was 15 years and 285 days old.

I watched some highlights of Barcelona matches and Yamal's performances, that are impressive from the youth player. After Ansu Fati, Gavi and Pedri, Barcelona has another talented youth players. In the past, Barcelona had some such talented players who had good starts with them but later seasons, they failed by pressure, injuries or not enough good growth. Those players are Bojan Krkic, Giovani Dos Santos, Alen Halilovic, Lee Seung-woo and Ansu Fati and I hope Yamal will continue his growth.

Hopefully he won't have failure like Ansu Fati who inherited the number ten skirt from Messi but failed to have good contributions for Barcelona last two seasons.

975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 28, 2023, 10:58:50 PM
Al Ahli, I think they have a very good squad in the league. Firmino is effective in the forward zone. They also recruited Merih Demiral as a defender. Demiral is 25 years old and an ambitious defender. Against the strong forwards of other teams, your defenders must also be good. You have to have good defense against Cristiano Ronaldo or Benzema. I think Al Hilal will get an easy win in the match.
Ah Hilal has a good summer to enhance their squad with some star players from old to young players. However I disagree to call Demiral is an ambitious defender as if he is ambitious, he would have not joined Saudi Professional League. The biggest reason he joined the league is money, money and money.

It is hard to convince others that your participation in Saudi Professional League is because you are ambitious and want to win titles there rather than in Europe with biggest leagues of football globally.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hong Kong officially launches its first Bitcoin and crypto trading platform on: August 28, 2023, 03:36:41 PM
Good news for bitcoin enthusiasts and crypto investors in Hong Kong after the government launches its first bitcoin and crypto trading platform.
Hong Kong has their government so any centralized exchange in that country will be regulated by their government and local laws. They can shut down that exchange any time.

It will be worse if Hong Kong be invaded by China mainland government and that scenario can not be excluded with more harsh activities from China mainland government recent years as well as the policy of their President Xi JinPing.

Hong Kong will not be the last if this experiment succeeds. The rest of the countries will find an opportunity for more tax money and will follow the example of Hong Kong if the idea finds a successful application.
Their government is friendly with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency now but they can change their policies and regulations in future. Like India or some nations in Europe, governments have lot of power to change many things in their nations.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Electric Supply to Bitcoin Mining Operations in Laos on: August 28, 2023, 02:02:59 PM
Laos is a small nation and it follows communism so its government can do many things while their citizens have very power to ask for their rights.

Cambridge Bitcoin Electricity Consumption Index and Bitcoin Mining Map show that Laos is not a big nation in Bitcoin mining. In Bitcoin Mining and Energy Statistics does not have description about Laos in Bitcoin Mining.

It had Bitcoin mining but is small in hashrate and it won't impact the Bitcoin network a lot.

What do you think, are we looking at a passing fad, something that gets "re-branded or re-invented" after the hacks settle down, and/or is DeFi currently on a path to keep getting stronger?
DeFi is a mess because it has a model that promises you profit, APYs that are usually good in their White papers.

If you have good basic knowledge about finance, you will realize a hidden fact. They only can give you APYs if the balance between cash inflow and cash outflow, capital in and capital out of their DeFi platform is positive. When the balance is negative, APYs will vanish in the air.

With DeFi, you will have risk of impermanent loss as well.

Cryptocurrency job list which has about 15 to 20 freelance websites for you.

The list is long enough to scan through and have ideas on how freelance jobs are in cryptocurrency and what types of job you can work with what skills you have currently. You can use those websites to focus your learning on some skills and come back to find jobs.

You can work remote with most of jobs.

I would not agree with that assumption, because even though this may have been the case in the beginning, now these investments are less and less (if we look at the amount of BTC purchased) and have almost no influence on the price of BTC. Likewise, Saylor is not one of those who knows (or wants) to hit the dip, but buys when they have enough cash, regardless of the price.
Likely Saylor and MicroStrategy only did Dollar Cost Averaging when they had new capital for DCA. They don't care what is price of their buying and I remember I read that after MicroStrategy buyings, Bitcoin usually have dips.

Check some in Bitcoin Historical price and events. #211 shows price dip a few days after MicroStrategy purchase.
