1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: July 18, 2023, 11:28:14 AM
You don't need Bitcoin first, What you need is a JOB, work on that first.
If they want to have bitcoin, they must get it somehow. From working, faucets, giveaways, airdrops, whatever can help them. Working is the best because nowadays giveaways and airdrops are more related to altcoins, tokens. Bitcoin faucets only allow to claim small amount of satoshi and waste your time.

Working to get bitcoin as your salary or get your salary in fiat currency or stable coin and use it to buy bitcoin.

Not just bitcoin, it applies to every investment when someone have the source of income to meet their daily needs, handle unexpected expenses, and have a safety net in case of any market volatility. The success you made from investing with the money as pocket money, gift or anything small as one time then it all just experimental so this can't serve enough to take the big risk of taking loan and use that money as capital for investment.
Investment means you must have capital to invest. The capital can be from inheritance, salary but most of us have it from our income, salary not from inheritance. Because we must work hard to get capital for investment, we must know how to store our bitcoin safely.

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

But it is interesting now to see what steps Chelsea will take after overhauling a lot of players who were just released. with the fresh funds they have from the sale actually Vlahovic is also still possible to bring in but as you said, there are several other options about this although it is likely that Vlahovic is one of the players prioritized.
Besides, some news about the exchange of Vlahovic and Lukaku is also still quite busy at this time so this can also be used as one of the good and mutually beneficial options for them
By selling some players to Saudi clubs and got big money from them, Chelsea have good transfer budget and no longer have to worry about financial observation and investigation from UEFA against their club finance. It might come back in future but in this summer, they are good and can enjoy this transfer season to rebuild their team.

Between Lukaku and Vlahovic, Vlahovic is younger and can be useful for Chelsea so it is good for them if they can complete the deal with Juventus. I still don't think Juventus will be ready to lose Vlahovic because they know that striker is younger and has a longer career than Lukaku.

Actually, the financial conditions of Inter Milan and AC Milan are both almost the same. i.e. they don't have a huge budget to bring in high priced players. Even Inter Milan also failed to sign Lukaku.
They don't have good transfer budgets but it is because Lukaku has lost his good performance in the last two seasons so none of them want to take high risk with Lukaku. It is a bigger problem because with non abundant transfer budget, they will not want to lose precious fund for Lukaku with doubt that the striker will not contribute too much for them in a new season.

Quote
And currently Inter Milan are trying to get Morata. and I think it will also be difficult for Inter Milan. But Morata himself seems really interested in playing in Serie A. AC Milan, AS Roma and Inter Milan I think it will be difficult to get Morata. Because other news is that Morata was also offered to play in the Arab League. Even the salary offered is quite high. But for now Morata has extended his contract at Atletico Madrid until 2026. So I don't think this season there will be a change of club for Morata.
Morata is like another player from the past as he failed when he returned to Juventus and had to return to Spain to continue his career. He has some kind of good skill but he is bad to deal with pressure, expectation and can not play well in big clubs. Morata is like another version of Lukaku and their careers have many similarities.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not compared to Bitcoin with the best anyone on: July 18, 2023, 04:19:18 AM
I agree also with you. Bitcoin is the King, my advice to you is if you just planning to hold some altcoins, don't forget to have Bitcoins in your bag.
We all know why people love altcoins is because of the ROI, they can get more profits on altcoins versus Bitcoin just incase there will be a parabolic run again.
For an experienced investor in cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin would account for 80% or 90% of portfolio. 10% or 20% of capital for altcoins is enough because investing in altcoins are risky.

Holding wrong altcoins can cause your capital drops to zero, no price, no volume to exit. Many altcoins die after every four year of a market cycle and if an altcoin investor hold a wrong altcoins more than four years, capital will become zero.

Quote
But for long term, I'll choose Bitcoin to hold.
I agree. Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency we can hold with diamond belief. Because only have questions like what altcoins are considered as commodity or security. With Bitcoin, it is not a security, it is a commodity, no need to discuss more about that. No risk from regulation on Bitcoin in terms of being a security or a commodity as it has been confirmed many times.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 18, 2023, 04:11:55 AM
It makes perfect sense, it's not about money but more about the prestige of the League and the guarantee of getting the UCL trophy. Kane has absolutely no interest in moving to PSG, his main priority now is Bayern Munich. Kane can fulfill his wish with Bayern Munich which he could not get while defending Tottenham, the potential to lift the UCL trophy could be the trigger for Kane move to Bayern Munich.
Kane must not pass up this good opportunity to make his dream come true, he deserves something more valuable before his career ends.
PSG at least will help Kane to win titles in France first and pay him high salary. I agree that Kane sees better chance in Bayern Munich because he will be able to win domestic titles with Bayern like in PSG with his opportunity to win Champions League with Bayern would be bigger than with PSG.

Bayern Munich still have a better general stability than PSG and their dress room is less conflicted like PSG's. Kane with his position as a captain of Tottenham and England teams will not want to stay below Mbappe in PSG. He is not a player with too high demand and ego but staying humble under Mbappe is very uncomfortable experience for Kane.

Harry Kane is one of Tottenham Hotspur's most effective players, and his desire to leave the club will only increase the club's significance. PSG is an elite club, but they lack the necessary team planning to be in a position to recruit the Englishman. Perhaps not every player would select PSG since, while they are an elite club, they are not a winning squad; these are the facts about the Parisians. As for the Bavarians, they're quite competitive in terms of performances and title challenges; let's hope Bayern Munich can finalize the Harry Kane trade soon.
Kane does not have too lower quality and performance than Mbappe in the last few seasons. He only did not have chance to win titles by playing for Tottenham many years. If he moves to Bayern Munich and win Champions League, I am sure he will beat Mbappe to get the Ballon d'Or which is very wanted by Mbappe.

With my view, Bayern will surely be a more favorite destination for Harry Kane than PSG.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 17, 2023, 10:37:10 AM
The new coach turned their games around last season for Sevilla and it was a surprise to everyone with the superb form that the club picked. It is good news that the coach contract has been extended because I believe that this season he surprise the world with the performance of Sevilla. He is a good coach and I think he has target to be among the top for in Laliga coming season. I didn't expect that Sevilla will win the final match against Monaco but I saw how desperate the players were and committed in the game. This shows that their new coach has a good way to motivate the players.
He helped Sevilla to exit relegation zone in La Liga and won Europa League so an expansion for his contract is well deserved. Sevilla are in top clubs of La Liga in the last twenty years and the last season is a warning that they got something wrong in their club.'

Though it is a red flag and they must make a forensic analysis about their problems to avoid a similar situation in a new season, the trophy in Europa League shows that Sevilla still have enough quality players to play well. Perhaps their main problems are not from player quality but about coach tactics and cooperation between coach and players.

I think for now Barcelona have shown their strength in Laliga and I'm sure next season Barcelona will focus all their strength on the Champions League. Apart from that, I think there are things that are interesting for the depth of the Barcelona squad because next season Gundogan will be one of the additional factors for their midfield which will make Barcelona very reckoned with in the Champions League.
Barcelona will need some more seasons to return to top level in Champions League and after Lewandowski, they have another experienced player Gundogan to help their young players growing up more.

Playing together with experienced players, who are already winners in Champions League, will help their young players a lot, in emotion control, pressure dealing which are important to compete with biggest clubs in Champions League.
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 17, 2023, 04:00:56 AM
I guess others doesn't like bear market because obviously, you will see your portfolio going down (if you still have some bitcoin that you didn't sell during the height of a bull run). Nevertheless, it's a good time to accumulate, so for me both are very important.
If you hold your capital in cash, in stable coins in bear market you will feel good. Because during bear market, you will have better discount price to buy bitcoin. With same capital, you will be able to buy more amount of bitcoin, it's good. Your capital will not go down in bear market if you did not use all capital to buy bitcoin in a bull market and stuck in a bear market.

By dollar cost averaging in a bear market, it will help us to have good chance to see our portfolio growth in a bull run.

Quote
And I will advise everyone that it's going to be a good learning experience if you are going to see how the bear/bull market is. You can adjust, make plans and strategized. With that, I will say that both for me is good.
Bear market is good to get experience and see how news is used for manipulation in this market.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 16, 2023, 03:17:40 AM
Less than 1 year for mbappe. PSG is trying to defend mbappe to stay even longer in the club but mbappe has been refusing it. There's no thing that can be done by PSG now.
PSG can only try to give mbappe a chance to pick which was best from him. PSG has been sending ultimatum so many times for him but he is not able to deciding it. I meant mbappe is not even trying to accept psg's offer to leave from the club.

It will be so good for real madrid if the club will able to get him for free. Madrid will not need to spend more than €200 m just to buy him only.
Real Madrid have to balance between the transfer cost they pay to PSG and the salary they will have to pay to Mbappe. Because they know Mbappe wants to join them and PSG no longer have control on the player. The very last barrier for the transfer is Real Madrid must convince Mbappe to sacrifice a little bit of his high salary if he wants to join Real Madrid in this summer.

It can be an offer to increase the player salary gradually year by year and I think it is a best solution for Real Madrid and Mbappe.

Quote
Neymar is still long way to go.
PSG does not want to keep Neymar but they can not easily sell him. The player wants to get very high salary and he already won Champions League with Barcelona so he only lack of Balon d'Or and don't have many reasons to leave PSG and join another club which gives him lower salary.
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie - advice? on: July 16, 2023, 03:12:32 AM
If you are a trader and have an opened trading position, you can not forget One of best weapons in trading. Stop loss order is a very important order type to comprehend and practice in your trading.

If you want something better, more advanced, you can consider Stop limit order.

More important than any trading order, trading strategy, you must have a good capital management first. Don't use all capital for trading is a good capital management before you start trading.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 15, 2023, 11:55:58 AM
Osimhen's price is too expensive making it difficult for other teams to get him but it will also be difficult for Napoli if Osimhen asks for a fantastic salary increase, there are several teams interested in Osimhen like Manchester united but the official offer from this Premier League team has not come and now it is reported that Osimhen is ready to extend a new contract with Napoli, this will benefit Napoli but not for Osimhen in my opinion because a player who is still young like Osimhen needs to find a bigger team to be able to support his career.
It is not a problem with rich club and I am sure Osimhen will only move to rich clubs, not poor or average clubs. He moved to Napoli with an expensive transfer too with €75.00m in fee when he was about 21 years old.

After three years in Napoli and with good performances for Napoli, the value of Osimhen on the transfer market increases a lot. With scarcity of good strikers nowadays, any club want to buy Osimhen will have to overpay for transfer fee. The estimated transfer value of this striker is €120.00m already.

Napoli are working on a contract extension for Osimhen. He has drawn the attention to himself quite much after his amazing performance in the previous season. But as his cost is going to be quite high for the other teams interested in signing him I don't know if any team would make an official offer. Napoli must be asking for at least 130 million euros.

His salary is nothing for a player like him now and this gives Napoli an advantage to convince him for an extension. I assume he would demand a couple of million euros rise in his salary and I would expect Napoli to accept that. As he has 2 years left there Napoli had better secure his future there.
Osimhen is smart enough to know that he will stuck in Napoli like Harry Kane in Tottenham if he sign a new contract with Napoli. Napoli can increase his salary but I believe that Osimhen wants more than salary and he will try at bigger clubs to chase for bigger titles like Champions League and want to play in bigger leagues like La Liga or Premier League. So Ligue 1 and PSG likely are not interesting destinations for Osimhen in this summer.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 15, 2023, 11:47:35 AM
Victor Osimhen has been a speculation for PSG as well. Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis made a statement that PSG could even be the only team to afford him now. Their asking price is believed to be around 150 million euros now. He says that they can evaluate the offer seriously if PSG offer around 200 million euros.

Even if PSG meet only the asking price I don't feel like they are likely to find an opponent in this race at that level. It is all up to whether PSG really see him as priority.
I think Osimhen is a perfect striker for PSG and he will be useful for PSG even that team start a new season with or without Mbappe. With Osimhen, PSG will have a good striker who will bring many goals for their team and more than that, he will be able to support Mbappe (if Mbappe stays) and other players by his readiness to do proactively defense at the frontline.

If anyone needs examples for his readiness to do that, look at his performance in Champions League matches with Leipzig. Even when Napoli led with big goal difference, Osimhen still chased the ball around the box of Leipzig.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLACKROCK SPOT ETF DISCUSSION on: July 14, 2023, 03:16:36 PM
It is Bitcoin Spot ETF. The community expect to have a first Bitcoin Spot ETF but there are many Bitcoin Futures ETFs. They hope high because logically Spot ETF is safer than Futures ETF.

They believe that with Bitcoin Spot ETF, more investors, instutional ones from traditional markets will use their capital more easily and flexibly to make investment with Spot ETFs and increase total capital in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market. It is their style but retail investors, individual investors must be more careful. We can not join Bitcoin Spot ETFs with small capital and we mus lt aware that they will not give us bitcoin. If we need bitcoin, buy it on market and don't buy shares from Bitcoin Spot ETFs.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina Launches it's First Bitcoin Futures Contract, Brazil To Follow.. on: July 14, 2023, 03:02:57 PM
We mustn't view cryptocurrency solely as a realm reserved for economically prosperous nations or individuals. If people with the right trading strategy and adequate initial funds can find their place in this space, they should be welcomed. Additionally, considering that Brazil and Argentina are among the most populated countries, it is crucial to embrace their participation to bolster the numbers and diversity of cryptocurrency users.
You can store bitcoin as your personal treasury if you can accept risk because many things can change with regulations of governments to support or against Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining, trading. It is more acceptable and more easily adaptive at individual level.

Oppositely if you are doing this at a national level, as a government, on behalf of your citizens, you must take a bigger risk. If anything bad happens, the nation will be collapsed financially and it is harder to accept for your nation and its citizens.

Small nations are more easily to take risk than big nations because small nations and if their economy have been in bad conditions, they have reasons to bet with Bitcoin like El Salvador.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 14, 2023, 02:49:21 PM
That's a realty because now players are more attracted towards money instead of fame because in the end the only thing that can be useful in life is going to be money not the fame. Lionel Messi has taken a very mediocre step by not joining Saudi League because if he had joined it then he could also earn huge sums of money without much effort. Other than money they Saudi people also take care of their players by providing them all the protocol and facilities that one can only dream of. The players like Ronaldo are enjoying their gameplay in Saudi League and they are earning enough money to enjoy their lives after retirement.
It is harder to make a decision to leave Europe and join Saudi Professional League if players are in their 23 - 25 years old when they are experiencing best times in their careers. It is easier to convince them if they are more than 30s and like 33 to 35 years old, they will more easily to sacrifice their last 2 or 3 seasons in Europe because they almost won't get any big achievement with last few years in their career in Europe.

Saudi clubs are providing very good offers to convince the type 2 players, old and successful players so those players are more interested in leaving Europe. Messi made an exception by not joining Saudi Professional League but moving to MLS. Maybe it is because of religion and Messi wanted his children will have some years to grow up in the USA. to learn English which is an international language and will be helpful for his children.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 14, 2023, 01:11:43 PM
@Uruhara Pulisic is a very talented player and he was not used well at Chelsea however at Milan we can hope that he’ll be given more opportunities to perform and thus I feel that he’ll definitely improve the team. Furthermore last year the Italian team’s improved way beyond expectations and this year I believe that they’ll continue to push the other league team’s even further because they’ll be hurting from their loss that they suffered last season.
He played well at Dortmund and impressive enough to convince Chelsea to buy him. However his performance for Chelsea is not as good as they expected from Pulisic. When their new coach does not want to add Pulisic into his plan, he has to find another club and it is AC Milan. It is a chance for Pulisic to enjoy a third big league in Europe, after Bundesliga and Premier League, now he will play in Serie A. He is still young enough to think of La Liga in next some seasons.

Italian football does not have too fast speed, high intensity like Premier League and it can help Pulisic to play better. With his vision and good dribbling skills, he will be useful for AC Milan and can support Rafael Leao and Giroud.
1035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BARR Pattern - Best performing chart pattern according to Bulkowski Stats on: July 14, 2023, 12:58:23 AM
Thank you for your explanatory explanation, and I was hoping that you would provide new charts explaining the Bump and Run Reversal Bottom (BARR) in current BTC/USDT chart or during the past weeks, but from what I understood, most of us start this model without knowing, as the resistance points are either momentum points to break the next top or Bounce, volume is a confirmatory indicator in this case.

Using this indicator alone without formulating a general strategy will lead to wrong results, as despite the high trading volumes, Bitcoin fails to reverse its direction, but by following the pattern for a longer period, the closer the price is to the top, the easier it is to break it and with lower trading volumes next time.
Trading volume is most important indicator but a raw trading volume indicator is not enough. I would like to look at Volume profile VPVR indicator on Trading View with a paid account, not free account. It is more helpful to see top and bottom of trading volume and those tops or bottoms will be where the market might have very big movement like break out or break down.

Price tends to move up or down very quickly between two tops on VPVR chart.

Which DEX would you recommend? Usually DEX have a very poor liquidity and only work on one blockchain. It means you need to use bridges in order to convert the cryptos you want to exchange in wrapped tokens onto the blockchain supported, if they exist. That's usually not easy and smooth at all and you have to pay premium for that.
Using cryptocurrency bridges is risky and bridges are targets of hackers. Many big hacks on cryptocurrency bridges and the latest hack on a famous bridge tool Multichain is a hottest.

Paying very expensive fee for your bridged transactions and face with risk from bridges as well as the token on a side chain will be less secured than on its main chain. If you want to have BNB, buy it on Binance Smart Chain, don't buy it on Avalanche, Harmony, Arbitrum if BNB exists on those side chains.

1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding Bitcoin's Potential Realistically on: July 13, 2023, 10:53:46 PM
Bitcoin is not like a God, a magic stick to change the world, life of everyone or replace everything, every fiat currency on the world. It is helpful but has its strength and weakness so please let's be realistic.

Being excessively optimistic like Bitcoin will replace all fiat currencies, gold to be a world standard, eradicate poverty or being too pessimistic that it will die soon are wrong thinking. It will not die but will not have such a Goddish strength to do everything as you wish or believe.

If you are exscessive optimistic, you will be like a blinded supporter and a gambler to bet all you have in Bitcoin.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 13, 2023, 03:30:53 PM
As far as I know PSG have decided to play heavy and will probably sign Victor Osimen
next year he will have a very performing team, who knows what to do in the Champions League, by the way did he qualify for the Champions League?
I do not remember
Why next year but not this year?

PSG likely will lose Mbappe in this summer as they can not convince or force him to sign a new contract and they don't want to lose him as a free player next year. So the only option is selling him in this summer and when they sell him, they will have money. It together with their needs to find alternatives for both Messi and Osimhen, will give them enough big reasons to buy the Nigierian striker.

Will they bring both Osimhen and Kravatskhelia to Paris to replace Messi and Mbappe?
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 13, 2023, 03:24:14 PM
Yann Sommer and Sven Ulreich are also 33 and 34 years old, so of course Bayern Munich really have to think about a suitable replacement for them. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has 2 young goalkeepers in Alexander Nubel and Johannes Schenk, but both of them have not received much trust from the coach to appear with the first team.
They bought Yann Sommer as a temporary replacement for Neuer but both Neuer, Sommer and Ulreich are old so Bayern Munich will have to seriously think of young goalkeepers who will be grown up as their main goalkeeper in future like 2 or 3 more seasons.

Bayern has a tradition to use many German players and they will try to maintain it. Honestly I don't hear much about good young goalkeepers in Germany recent years. If it is true, Bayern Munich will have to find foreign goalkeepers from the market. Meanwhile, they can use Neuer and Sommer in next few seasons.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 32nd Binance Launchpad Project Arkham on: July 13, 2023, 10:57:40 AM

I agree. Like I said, with Binance handling the token sale on its launchpad platform is enough reason to exponential increase the pumpamenntals. The narrative on crypto twitter has changed now about Arkham. I believe their CEO held a space and explained a few things. The overall sentiments right now is bullish. For a team that reportedly raised over $150M prior to this launchpad sale, I expect the token to do a minimum of 5x from launchpad price.
Those projects have big money from their fund raising but using those funds wisely to develop their projects well after that is more challenging. When the hype goes away, if they can not have good tokenomics, good ideas to develop new products, their projects will be eliminated as cryptocurrency space is very harsh.

With those Launchpad projects, pay attention on their tokenomics and their token unlock schedules. Tokens will probably be dumped by investors who bought cheap tokens at different seed rounds.
https://vestlab.io/

This is a very very risky statement, I hope you are careful. If you think that it will do a minimum of x5 after the launchpad, then you are going to invest heavily if you can, of course if you can reach it at the right time. But also remember that even if it goes up after the launch, then it could crash a lot with people taking their profit.

Remember that not everyone is in this for the long term, some people want to take that x5 profit and leave, which will crash the price and we are going to be hurt if you keep it long enough. I would suggest that if you really want to get involved with the launch, then you should get out after a while so that you are not holding it for too long and make a mistake of getting too greedy and lose.
Such tokens usually have pump and dump schemes and if investors or traders are not careful, they will stuck in a trap of pump and dump. Hold or buy more with pumps and panic or impatiently, disappointedly sell with dumps.

Many examples but I will use ICP (Internet Computer) with all time high more than $400 and now is just more than $4. This token has a classic pump and dump scheme so do Launchpad tokens.
