961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 06, 2023, 09:18:46 PM
What a recovery in the final minutes for Arsenal.

The draw was deserved and they won the lottery of penalties.

Congratulations to Arsenal. It's always nice to open a season with a cup. They won 5 of last 10 cups and totally dominated Community Shield last decade.
I hope they recover quick from last seasons trauma and be competitive this season in Premier League. My favorite is Manchester City again but I'd like to see similar competition this season as well. One team's dominance kinda ruin the fun.

I'm also happy about Arsenal's win of today and I wished they had won the Premiere League last season but today's win for me was also a bit of a mistake by Guardiola. He probably underestimated Arsenal because in a game like this Bruyne has to be in the starting line-up and not come on as a substitute in the 64th minute. 10 minutes after being substituted on, he immediately made the assist for the goal.

I often talk about how exceptional De Bruyne's assists are at Manchester City. Who would have thought that when he was substituted in the 77th minute, he would do something truly remarkable? Even though Haaland had been on the field for 10 minutes before De Bruyne's entrance, Guardiola noticed that nothing significant changed. However, once De Bruyne stepped in, he made Arsenal concede with an incredible assist. Currently, among English teams, he stands out as one of the most prolific players in terms of assists. Last season in the Premier League, he contributed to more than half of the goals that Haaland scored and he has already showcased great quality in the preseason matches, setting high expectations for the upcoming season.

On the contrary, Arsenal performed exceptionally well, and their display today is convincing, they may be on the right track to winning the Premier League this season. Their ability to seamlessly combine defensive and offensive tactics is something that few players can achieve, when Guardiola noticed the effectiveness of their strategy, he made the great decision to substitute Haaland. But, when Haaland's impact wasn't enough, he brought De Bruyne off the bench, which proved to be a well-deserved Community Shield victory for Arsenal, let's see how the season welcomes them in the Premier League
962  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Private keys on: August 03, 2023, 01:40:49 PM
One of my friends said he understands that If you give away your private keys to someone, they can basically be used to drain your wallet of all its holdings. Which makes private keys so much so private and should always be stored securely and never shared. But something is not so clear about this keys as in the statement below:

"for Non-custodial wallets, it is required you to store your private keys, as it gives you sole responsibility over sensitive data."

First, are private keys for Non-custodial wallets to be looked out for and stored/saved just like the seed phrases? And

Secondly, what other times would a wallet owner need to personally use the private keys aside from its primary automated role of authorize transactions?

With your seed phrase ( either the 12 words or 24 words), you can easily manage plenty of private keys but in a situation where you have your fund stuck in a single private key, you have to back it up and keep it safe just the way you will handle your seed phrase, your main priority is to avoid bad actors from getting access to them.

Other than authorizing a transaction with your private keys, you can sign a message with a private key to prove ownership of a wallet address, For instance, if you are very active in this forum, it can bail you out if your account becomes hacked or when someone changes email and password of your forum account. If you have not staked your wallet address in the forum, please do so here

Hello Everyone;

As per my understanding, the lighting network adds a feature where you a payment channel between to individuals where nothing is transacted until the payment channel is closed. This is to reduce the fees on individuals and number of transactions on the blockchain.

When you make a payment in a channel, payment is recorded in the node interacting with the channel, nothing is sent to the Bitcoin network except for the first transaction when you open a channel and when you close a channel, there are situations where a third transaction may come in when you want to close a channel and remove the BTC that is committed to that channel.

Quote
I know you can run a BTC node by running the original Bitcoin wallet. So I assume the BTC lightning network is on the blockchain.

Since if it is not that would be a vulnerability.

Thankful for any info.

Lightening Network is a layer 2 network, it means everything that happens on the network is not recorded on the Bitcoin main chain itself except for when you open and close a channel, and there is no vulnerability of any kind except when you used a custodial wallet that you may not have access to the private keys or the mnemonic seed. You can choose to use a non-custodial wallet like the SPV wallet and still use your wallets without running your node.

You are missing up somethings.
*You use payment when you are sending bitcoin on Lightening Network (layer 2)
*You use Transaction when you are sending Bitcoin on Main Network
964  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are exchanges evading proof of reserves unsafe for users? on: August 03, 2023, 01:12:28 PM
Proof of reserves is designed to get exchanges demonstrate transparency by proving that customers deposits are safe in their possession. In an industry riddled with uncertainties and fraud, the need to reassure investors that their funds are safe cannot be overemphasised.

In a bid to raise transparency and trust in cryptocurrency exchanges Proof of reserves allows customers and auditors to indeed verify that exchanges retain the funds they deposited in them.
Unfortunately only a handful of exchanges currently offer any kind of proof of reserves for their customers; while some cite security, cost and competitive disadvantages for their failure to release their proof of reserves, the bold ones have gone on to release theirs.

As a trader, do you feel safe using such exchanges that haven’t released theirs or should the more transparent ones be given preference?

You see that proof of reserve thing, it doesn't prove anything. Last year when the famous clown and FTX collapse, it begin to raise many questions if exchanges have coins on there wallet as they say to the public and then, the whole crypto community began to panic, follow by many FUD that started on Kucoin and then to Crypto.com exchange, so many people withdraw there exchange and when they found out that the rumours has done damages, finance announce their audit and wallet balance just to mitigate the damages but guess what Crypto.com exchange did. They went to borrow money from Gate exchange and show as proof of reserve only to secretly move out the usdt back to Gate exchange they were caught by chain analysts and mini onchain FBIs on twitter.

The earlier you accept that your coins are not safe on the exchange the better for your health, you will have peace of mind and enough time to sleep. Many who left there savings on FTX are still hurt today because they never listen to "not your keys, not your coins". Proof of reserve open the eye of the public in 2022 but some of them were very foolish to withdraw their coin from other exchange and then sent to Binance thinking CZ will protect them, pathetic right! Embarrassed

965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ~If you must trade~ on: August 03, 2023, 12:56:59 PM
I was having this strong contemplation, between emotion and patience which factor affects traders the most. I know we have other factors that can make a trader experience huge losses such as FUD, greed, lack of contentment, indiscipline and high expectations and over zealousness.

But I had to narrow my scope to just the emotional and patient factors. I am sure many traders can relate better with this two factors compared to the rest this lead me to seek the answer from traders and prospective traders which do you think should be handled with more caution and between the two which has higher chances of helping a trader have at least 70% of total control of their profit cycle.

Does been patience affect traders? I think you are mixing things up. Patience is a practical discipline every trader should have before starting trading, you need it more than any other factors you mentioned there, you wouldn't go far if you even lack it because one of the main problems of being emotional is when we don't have the patience to overlook trade, the emotion starts building up and at the end, you make an inconclusive and silly judgement that will affect your trades.

Whatever magic that works for you, it's pretty fine as long as you don't pile up losses at the end of the day; emotion and patience are experienced by every trader but we react differently to each of them because we are experienced in trading than each other, we have exposure to money to each other and we have a different level of tolerance than each other, so if your emotion and patient gives you 70% chance of profit cyle, continue your trading degen.
966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: August 03, 2023, 12:43:10 PM
Every day, thousands of memecoins are launched, and unfortunately, around 95% of them turn out to be scams. This scam epidemic is affecting many people, especially newcomers who lack experience and are more vulnerable to such scams.

The issue arises when newbies join the crypto space and fall victim to these scammers, leading them to blame all of crypto as a scam. While some memecoins have indeed damaged the reputation of the crypto industry, others have achieved incredible success, with values skyrocketing by 100 or even 1000 times.

For beginners, it's advisable to steer clear of memecoins. However, if they still want to get involved, they should consider investing in memecoins listed on reputable exchanges, even if it means earning lower profits. One example I follow is Bitget's memezone, where memecoins may not be listed at the start of their project but get listed at an early stage. Unlike DEX, these platforms provides more security, reducing concerns about being unable to sell,or removal of LPs.

Let's take a minute and look into some things, from your first paragraph, you said 95% are scams which I myself can attest to, they are frauds hiding behind the hype to milk money from onena be investors of altcoins we have in cryptocurrency, they don't do research or any sort of background information before they threw money into this crypto projects and you know what, I'm very confidence that when another hype comes around, many will buy into the scams and cry later, the only thing they understand is loss and they never learn.

Following your second paragraph, is there actually a meme coin that is still profitable till today, apart from the norm of Elon tweets to make massive candles on doge coins, even Shiba Inu is struggling for survival, most people even bought it at ATH and they are all sitting on the same bench with high hope that it will bounce again to the moon but if Meme hype doesn't return by next bull run, then they are as good as wasted projects.

My third observation on your third paragraph, from now on till before the next halving, as long as we don't have a new trend in crypto, the current meme coins hype and the scam is the only profitable thing developers do just like when we had ICO time back then in 2018, meme will also last for the same months until there is another fast opportunity to make money in crypto but at the same time, I'm skeptical about what the new trend will be in the next bull run.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My passion on bitcoin on: August 02, 2023, 01:30:19 PM
I'm so passionate on bitcoin since I made research of bitcoin I have being excited in bitcoin and I'm not regretting that I invested in bitcoin with my second saves, its good to read articles containing bitcoin information before deciding to buy bitcoin I have read and I have regret, myself I assured myself that I have not make a mistake by investing in bitcoin, because bitcoin now is what that helps so many arms of people to escape inflation rates in their countries, everywhere you go its all about investment information you will obtain of bitcoin.

Everyone is now pre-inform than ever, the guy who doesn't care about inflation then has now looking for alternative ways to guard their worthless and I'm happy you have taken the good route of starting bitcoin as an investment. Having Fiat is not enough to even pay bills because there is an increase of price everywhere and the common man has not got an increase in their paychecks and salaries, it is traumatizing but keeping your money in Bitcoin is one of the ways to avoid such things. Though, it is not guaranteed as a safe haven for the safety of your investments because of the volatility.

Quote
Before I invested my saves in bitcoin I have already encouraged myself of the loss if I may have a loss but what give me the moral to invest is that Bitcoin adoption is occurring with massive way and till now everywhere you go and people there is discussing of monetary transaction of bitcoin, and when you think of sending money to people outside the country first thing that will come to your mind is to use Bitcoin. My fair in bitcoin is that nobody knows how many years it will last in earth or bitcoin will continue to exploit in future.

If i have another financial opportunity I will wish to invest more capital in bitcoin because it is a decentralized currency

Edited corrected by @Upgrade00, thanks sir

Learning is a continuous process

Learning without a guide gives room for many errors but if you are serious about your research, trust me many of them can be avoided. The more we live, the more we learn about bitcoin, you never know one day what the price of bitcoin will say, instead of having regrets, I will rather hold with the same beliefs even when others don't have the same interest as you do, just keep buying at every opportunity of price drop.  Cool
968  Economy / Economics / Re: Helpful mineral resources on: August 02, 2023, 01:04:08 PM
Africans are blessed with a lot of minerals that if this resources are gainfully used for benefit of their citizens, this God given resources would add colours to Africans. Countries in Africans like Nigeria, Serial Leone, Ghana, kenya, south Africa and lots more you will a lot of natural resources either misused or abandon by government and even if they see need to use them, is either abused or mismanaged. Petrol in Nigeria till today is been refined outside country and still import back to Nigeria on a high price, lots of minerals like coals, salt, kerosene, gas, petroleum and so on but no appropriate handling of this resources, so even the citizens can not benefit from it. If Africa can make use of their resources well, they will be more independent, free from indebtedness and indirect colonial system of other countries.
I'm all for the development and prosperity of African countries, but it's not an easy road. First, there's corruption and violence, both of which need to significantly be tuned down for progress. Then there's the impact of colonialism which you've mentioned, and it's unfortunately hard to escape it because economic dependency is still strong. Finally, the world is starting to move away from the exploitation of natural resources toward more sustainable activities because of climate change, so I think that it's not a good time to start working on building economies around minerals and stuff.

Corruption has eaten African countries deeply to the point the military is now doing coups up and down and that scares me, and as much as there is a high level of stealing and theft in democracy, I don't like to be ruled by a military government, this madness is already spread within West African countries; I believe in democracy because it has worked for the west if its properly manage here with everyone following the rule, it will prosper in the Africa horizon as well, we should encourage impunity and discourage dictatorship, I don't pray to wake up one day and see a gun pointed on my head for violation that the court can penalize me for, that's gonna be hell for everyone.

Furthermore, colonialism has been a form of a parasitic relationship between African countries and the West, they benefit more from Africa than the way they benefit from us but let us not lie to ourselves, we need allies and friends to stay ahead of others, any African country that thinks they will hate the west because of their greed is doing so to hurt its people, we need each other to survive the heat periods, we need the west for development because they are ahead of Africans by innovations and creativities, and in return, they also need the resources around us but then it has to be a mutual relationship instead of the usual over dependency on each other.
969  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you will never become rich on: August 02, 2023, 12:15:18 PM
The first reason why you can never be rich is too much  responsibilities, carrying family problems on your head which we all know family problems are always around the corners and can't be totally eliminated. The best help to offer family is to put yourself in a better financial position,  don't struggle to help family,  struggle to put yourself in a better financial position then take away your from dependency. How do you take them away from dependency? If you have a company or business you are running or a connection,  you can connect your family members to your friends let them work for them so that they can earn their own money or you have a business you are running, they can work for you to earn their own money.  As long as their is still dependency they will continue to depend on you and demand from you.

No man, this doesn't sound right, it's like you are trying to run away from family responsibility. Whether you are a married or married to or just a single person who live alone, you have a family to look up to but there should be a limitation to this, just because you're are a bread winner or perhaps the only person who the family depends on doesn't mean you will put every responsibility on your head, you have to take the necessary ones and ignore the rest, they should take of the rest.

Would you abandon your family when they are sick because you are looking for money to become rich, will you abandon them when they are hungry; just provide them with the basic requirement of a responsible person and face your life after that. This is why you people who take the responsibilities of the families hardly reveal what they earned because doing, they will always bring all the problems to you as they know what you are worth and the pay check you get after every 30 days.

Quote
The second reason why you can never become rich is not knowing how to use money. There are several ways money can be use :  spending,  savings,  and investing.  Many of us already know about spending and even when we spend we spend on things that are not really needed but just to impress people who don't care about you.

Buying liabilities,  things that doesn't have value five years from now.  Many save but even when money is saved,  it is done to spend and not to invest and the only way to become rich is to invest and not by savings.  So , invest in assets and not liabilities.

Knowing the difference between what you need and what you want is very important, as the right time to do and the wrong time to say no, but then because you are trying to invest in business doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of yourself, you need to stay healthy, eat a good meal, hangout and have time with others because how I understand the use of been trying to be a wealthy person and I cannot have that my life, never! I will live it to the fullest but it's going to be in a responsible manner.
970  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefits of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to the global Economic Structure on: August 02, 2023, 11:45:06 AM
Do you know how cryptocurrencies are ruling today’s world? .
Since the arrival of cryptocurrencies, people’s lives have transformed in many ways. Nowadays, it has become more convenient for people to invest in various digital currencies. Also, many businesses are adopting cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment. When it comes to investing in digital currencies, one has to gain some knowledge. You can now take help from many websites and platforms to get started with them. Cryptocurrency trading has helped many investors earn high profits. That is why investors are interested in the same. If you also want to make enormous profits, digital currencies are the best for investments.

The Bottom Line
In conclusion, we can say that the future of cryptocurrencies is pretty good. I hope now that we understand how they are benefiting the global economy in different ways.

feel free to add yours so we all learn together.

I got some reactions from your highlights which are more speculations than a fact. The global market cap of crypto went to an all-time high of 3T+ and today, it's sitting around 1.22T which means we have lost about 68% of the market cap as loss, if you try to explain that to an economist, he will say that its a failure and not a good investment for any economic structure, but if you are specific about it the introduction as bitcoin only, then I will agree with you in some aspects.

The total market cap is equivalent to about 46% of the entire market, so if you look deeply at where that loss all went, all went down into the rabbit hole of altcoins. The majority of the losses we have today as a result of altcoin hacks, team exit and rugs, scams attempt, and many more, it has been years since we heard about bitcoin heist and hacks. Most of the people that had the loss will hardly want to have anything to do with altcoins again because they have been literally cripple, now does that help the economic structure.

All the above you mentioned and explained can be directly linked to bitcoin and bitcoin alone, like the anonymity just like the way you have good privacy, impossible penetration of hack attempts, more transparency in transactions, low transaction cost if you compare it to fiat payments, banking the unbanked areas of the world, an increase in the inflow of money to the economy especially when there is are barrier of inter payment in the country.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Crypto, The SEC Confirms on: August 02, 2023, 11:10:22 AM
The SEC distinguishes Bitcoin from other cryptocurrencies and considers it to be a decentralized digital cash, exempting it from the classification of "security" that applies to many other tokens.

Bitcoin, due to its decentralized nature, market cap, and lack of involvement by its founder, does not fit the criteria of a security according to them.

Strap in boys and girls. Space shuttle launch in T-minus 10 and counting...

Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/martinrivers/2023/07/31/bitcoin-is-not-crypto-the-sec-confirms/

When Bitcoin came into existence, Gary Gensler has not even had dream that a day will come to be US SEC chairman, if his predecessor didn't recognized bitcoin as security or crypto or whatever he choose to call it, he should have known better to live bitcoin alone from the genesis. Bitcoin never did an ICO, never sold any token, never did a public offering. All the altcoins are responsible for these creativities, they should deal with it instead of bringing bitcoin along any time they tried to fight the crypto communities they feel they can toy around anytime they like.

Bitcoin sentiments aside, Isn't obvious that the US government holds bitcoin as well, I expect them to play by politics and their own rule in other to stay ahead of other investors, they have thousands of bitcoin under their custody that they are yet to sell because they see the vision of satoshi that is why they are yet to offload this Bitcoin on the market, just 2 days ago the court freed SBF of his crime for donating Bitcoin to the politicians. If that had happened to be outside the US, they will never allow the public to rest with their useless headlines and crypto hunts.
972  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CZ Binance warns users about using Binance Exchange on: August 01, 2023, 05:53:06 PM
November 30th CZ Binance tweeted

beware of platforms that offer High APYs

and/or

have layoffs

if you don't do risk management now, don't blame others for the consequences later

fast forward to today and the headlines are about Binance laying off 1000+ employees.

So if we listen to the warning that CZ tweeted last year everybody should probably stop using Binance or get ready to blame nobody but yourself for not doing proper risk management.

More like pot calling kettle black, he isn't pure after all. Binance has been accused of insider trading often without numbers and trust me, any organization that involves money that is not televised is most often than not into some shady stuff in the background, but will come out publicly to deny it that they don't do it but in fact, they do it. I know that even Sec has been a d!ck these days but they have also accused them of this behaviour and CZ now wants to tell the public how to be purified with the platform they choose to trade, he should redeem his exchange organization first.

People should know that when something is too real, they should avoid it especially when it has to do with money; High Apy or APR are most of the time scams and platforms that make promises on an empty pocket, they do that just to siphon money from the public and then go into hidden, so even if Binance and CZ are crooks, avoid high APY platforms because as soon as your money goes into their exchange, it is never coming back again.
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: August 01, 2023, 05:21:38 PM
A friend of mine in our discussion today about Bitcoin was insisting that salaries and wages be paid in Bitcoin in some countries.
I was of the opinion that the government will not allow fiat to be replaced by Bitcoin .so what is your take on this will it be a positive move on the Bitcoin ecosystem or not

This got me silent for some seconds. Cool This is a very good move if the company should adopt bitcoin for bitcoin payment of salaries, they will get to spend through Bitcoin, live the life they want all on chain transactions without ever touching the fiat again and bitcoin been a global currency and censorship resistant, it will ease the pain of boardless transactions without anyone stepping on your toes, it will also expose employees to bitcoin, how its been use and done and, many more.

However, there is a major difficulties when it comes bitcoin for settling payment for workers, many of them will reject the option of receiving bitcoin for payment because you can't keep bitcoin for 30 days without having price fluctuation, it may go up or may come down, it is 50:50. Many salary earners love to keep their money into saving, they wouldn't be happy if they left for $100 change to $80, that is about $20 loss with 20% reduction in values which is possible in monthly frame, it will be a disaster for those who hold more than that but I guess they will be happy when there is 20% increase in price. I think many will not accept this option of bitcoin for work.

Furthermore, when bitcoin are been used to settle workers, they will have to sell it to buy basic needs and pay bills, the government also collects tax when you receive bitcoin as payment which is around 10% to 30%, that is like working and giving everything to the government when it is possible to have static of 10% when you don't earn above more than $20k, instead of converting bitcoin to fiat to pay unnecessary expenses and tax, pay banks tax, why not receive everything in fiat and save the headache. After that, anyone that wishes to buy bitcoin can do so from their salaries.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 01, 2023, 04:29:50 PM
There's this scene I witnessed today at a local sport betting house  and I found it very funny and unbelievably true at same time. A certain young man after making his predictions placed his bet and his betting slip was printed to him then another gambler in the house approached him and asked to make a rebet of his games for himself but I was shocked when the young man refused with the excuse that he doesn't share his predictions that sharing it will make him lose his bet. More like having his luck to win reduce or changed maybe because the person he shared his games with could be someone with a bad luck on that day.

If gamblers knew a way to win, they would always maintain the secret, but no! It doesn't work that way; even if you practice Vodou or possess some sort of superpower, if the odds aren't in your favour or luck isn't on your side, then that ticket isn't for you. Is there something similar to reducing someone's chances when gambling? That would be like praying to God for money when you worship him every day but are reluctant to tell someone how you speak with him out of fear that he won't hear you; that would be foolish.

When you share a betting code with another bettor, nothing happens. I have duplicated certain codes and bet them, which hundreds of gamblers do every day just to keep themselves occupied, and they win as well. When the initial bet is lost, the rest of the gamblers lose as well. In addition, bookmakers and sportsbook platforms include this booking code for a reason, in case you wish to share your ticket and games with other players; it does not add or subtract anything from the initial stake.

Quote
Although I have heard of behaviors like this with some gamblers but I never believe it not until I witnessed it myself today and it was weird to me imagining how you will get to lose your bet by allowing someone else rebet it. In all my years of gambling, I believe that a game prediction that will play as predicted will definitely play not regarding the number of people that bet on the same prediction. If this is what happens to the gambling industry, that means the entire gambling platform will be super rich and when the players calculate the amount they have spent on gambling, the loss will be bigger than the profit + deposit. I will gladly share

So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?

When you really examine and examine these kinds of gamblers, you will notice that they rarely have a winning ticket in their lives when it comes to sports predictions, and they never win anything because they are constantly attached to that superstitious belief. I'll share my booking codes with my friends, and when they win big, they'll share me as well. There's nothing mystical about winning; it either happens as it was intended to or it doesn't.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 01, 2023, 03:55:01 PM
I saw some video bad finishing by Rasmus Hojlund while with Atalanta. Actually as a striker 32 times played and 9 goals seems like a not very good statistic. But it looks like Ten Hag has another view. Perhaps his young age is enough to make Ten Hag confident that he can change the bad views of football observers. Many people also hope that Rasmus Hojlund can be Haaland's competitor and be the solution to the attacker's problems. At the moment Ten Hag has several options so Rashford probably won't be exhausted and injured a lot.

Erling Haaland can't be compared to Rasmus Hojlund, even when Haaland is at Hojlund's age he can score a lot of goals and has a good finishing. I believe that ETH is just gambling on Hojlund's transfer, because despite his young age, at least Manchester United will have a replacement for their striker. If later he will be officially introduced as a new Manchester United player, I can't wait to see how he performs in official PL matches.

I don't want to hate but Hojlund coming to Manchester United is rubbish except there is something Erik Ten Hag see's in him that I'm yet to find out, he is 20 which is considered a youngster but common, and he has played for at least Sturm Graz and Atalanta as an attacker that must had plenty of opportunities and yet, he had 4 goals for each club which is 8 in total, not bad for a beginner but asking price of 75M EUR is crazy thing Erik is doing, another money on the bin they will later find difficult to sell because I believe they have other good players, he may find it difficult to satisfy them with goals.

He better sit and checks the garbage they have been bringing to the club because so far so nothing good to talk about because he was asked in an interview how he fills in the coming friendly matches they have and he replied that Manchester United doesn't take matches as friendly, they are here for real game, and guess what, they conceded goals, I think that was the friendly match they had with Dortmund and Onana been the new goalkeeper didn't impress too even when all the fault were from the defenders.

No doubt! Haaland can only be compared to Mbappe and no one else. Even then it's hard, because Erling changed leagues and took no time at all to get settled in. Mbappe still has done nothing of the sort, but he had a stellar World Cup performance.

It would be exciting if Hojlund lives up to the expectation and hopefully by next year we will compare him to Haaland. But there is also the possibility that we will compare him to Mudryk. Only time will tell.

You are biting your tongue from what you are saying, you can't compare Haaland and Mbape on the major ground just because he had a good season and treble for Manchester City. Do you know what it takes to win a world, he has been there twice in 2018 and 2022 and he won one and pushed Argentina to the wall, it was as if the world cup was between France and Argentina to date because that is the only highlight I'm seeing every day and when Manchester City won the Champions, people didn't cheer up as if they did something. If Mbape finally agrees to come to Premier League, you can do the comparison once again but it's too early to do that now.

Arsenal is exploring the possibility of signing another goal keeper in Brentford number one shot stopper David Raya who's contract will be expiring next year, and the player is not looking forward to staying at the club.He wants to play in a big team,Bayern were said to be monitoring his situation and have tried with a bid which was turned down for the player who is worth around 40 million pounds. However,Bayern have turned their attention elsewhere, and Arsenal have moved in for the player, making enquires about his services but are yet to lodge a bid for the shot stoppers who is seen to compete with Ramsdale over a starting spot at the club.If a deal for the keeper materialises,it would mean that Matt Turner will be sold to any team interested in his signature.

I assumed big team, you mean by worth else I don't think Bayern would boast of being better than Arsenal in their current form, Raya has been in Brentford since and just joined Premier League after spending some time away in Championship and they have in between top standing and relegation zone and by that, I don't think he can have what he doesn't deserve, $40 million is greater than his performance in my opinion, settling for Arsenal would have been his best decision.

Seems Arsenal and Arteta are doing more to strengthen their midfield as they are fighting to have Tchouameni and but that got me some unanswered questions if Arteta has that kind of money on him because Monaco is ready to splash over $100k on him to come to play for them and in this raise, PSG seems to be having interest on this deal. I understand that Arsenal loves young players but it will be a waste of money to have him in the club with that kind of amount, I wonder if they ever look at Benfica for this kind of good deal.

That's right, I think Xavi said that because he only wanted to focus on the El Clasico pre-season match against Real Madrid and it was proven that Barcelona was able to embarrass Real Madrid with this quite a crushing defeat. The intensity of these two teams really knows no place and wherever they are as long as they are still on the same field, the pride of a team will be highly respected by them.

On the other hand, it is very clear that Real Madrid needs a striker with a mature finish and that is indeed the closest choice to Mbappe and I think there is no more time for Real Madrid. If they really want to beat every team in La Liga and win the title. But if Real Madrid persist in hoping for Vini's sometimes erratic performance, then they will lose the title again.

I'm not still sure about it but maybe Real Madrid didn't put full energy into this match and they were just using this El Clasico game against Barcelona to test some players and this team is still not in a good situation to be tested against Barcelona, that's why we can't say if Real Madrid had bad performance or not.
However, El Clasico is always an important game even if that's just a friendly match.

Elclasico match has never been friendly, that's what I understood in their last round, I didn't even bother to watch the second half because I was already emotional and angry seeing how Real Madrid players were playing like loose players that have not been training for decades. Camavinga was helpless to the point that common pass became a problem to achieve. No, common! Vinicious had  the chance for a Penalty that could have give them opportunity to equalize and perhaps that would give them energy to play better but wasn't fruitful.

This is not good for Real Madrid, with the way Barcelona was having fun of Real Madrid, there is going to be problem after pre-season, they will dominate Laliga if Madrid doesn't step up. I hope by then their official striker will be ready and available to help the team, they can't continue to play without main attackers because switching between Rodrigo, Vinicious and Bellingham wouldn't yield anything good for the team.

Pep Guardiola will never regret for his decision to release some players in this summer, because his plan always bring good result at the end of the tournament, which I know that the players that left will not affect the Manchester city performance in this season. I don't think the coach will disappoint his fans in this season because Erling Haaland and other strikers are still there to make things happen in this season like last season that made them to embraced UEFA champions league title and premier league title. Based on the way other teams are bringing in new players in this season showed that they will make this season tough for Manchester city, but I still have confidence that Pep Guardiola will still help the team to win the title.

Never say never, Real Madrid did the same thing last summer transfer window and what happen after, they played nonsense game without fruitful result, they flop in some good matches they should have converted to goals and points but it was as if they weren't there. Let me give you a scenario using how Manchester City were able to win the Champions league last season; they signed Haaland and De Bruyne prior to the last Champions League and they were so entangled together by performance and that improve scoring opportunities of Manchester City, Guardiola allowing some players to go because they are not attacker doesn't mean they wouldn't feel the pain, every player us the role they play in the squad, they will feel the heat at some point in future.

SPL and Chinese league aren't comparable. Surely SPL is more attractive than Chinese league. The clubs of SPL also have more money than the clubs in China league.

The Chinese also spent a lot of money on the transfer, but they didn't manage to attract so much attention. I think Ronaldo is a very big influence at this point. Because he transferred to the Saudi Professional League, many footballers refer to him. If the Chinese League had made this kind of transfer at that time, they could have had a bigger impact.

Last year there was only Ronaldo in the Saudi Professional League. This season there are also star players like Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, Allan Saint-Maximin, Roberto Firmino and Edouard Mendy. Let's see what kind of league awaits us.

I have to agree with Ronaldo effective move pave way for other players, they should be among top teams that bought all the available free and fully contracted players and it seems the oil money is still in excess because I don't quite understand Al-Hilal and all this money they are generously spending on players. Just today rumors that I read from a reliable source, (not Fabrizio Romano) that Al-Hilal has push two different offer for Osimhen to the team, that of $120m for a year and $140m for the second year, that's an amount that can change life forever but at the cost of his career because Osimhen is still very young.

Haven't look at how Saudi Arabia are having more numbers of old European team to the clubs. I still feel Messi got all the attention in MLS than what other players have did in Saudi Arabia, perhaps it's due to the fact that they are yet to score any goal but will they have the chance like that. Even Ronaldo has not score any goals in his last 3 matches, only Benzema has been doing fine in his team.

I think Manchester United has to sell Maguire before the start of the league season because I don't see any of his performances in good condition. When I look at Manchester United's game against Dortmund, the performance was good but the defensive was not strong. He will continue to make many own goals for Manchester United if they keep him on the team. If Manchester United didn't do anything about it now, it would have an impact on the club's performance when the league started, and they would have to deal with a challenging season the next year.

Just today I saw a newly arrived player dare to scold an old player. Even the former captain of the team, I think it's appropriate that this should continue to be done as a reminder. But selling is probably the best solution. Ten Hag already has another player ready to replace him. Evans, Martinez, Varane might be better. Selling Maguire will not make them weak. Moreover, Man United has a lot of transfers quite well. That will make the defense also better.

There is no seniority in football and no players is ever bigger than the team, all players are open to critism between each other and the manager of course. Onana has every right to correct Maguire just the same way Maguire can correct or rant on Onana when he fuckup but insult and abuse is never welcome. If Erik don't include him, how will they know what they bought was worth the amount and letting go of De Gea, there is nothing absolutely wrong about it. What can we say about fans that knows nothing, never been in the field but would find opportunity to attack any players, lmao  Grin

Let's be honest, If Maguire live Manchester United, he is as good as gone, they even thankful that West Ham made an attempted with good offer; who in there right senses in Premier League will want to have Maguire in such a big amount, an increase in performance and seasonal goals is equivalents to high amount and for the past two seasons, Maguire has been robotic player in my opinion, they either reason with West Ham to increase the Bid a little and sell him or they accept his entertainment continuesly, it's up to them.
