Claymore reports 600hs on a 290x, my old core i5@4Ghz is doing around 130-150hs per 4 cores. No advantage at all ,especially if I say that i got it for free. I can't get at the moment R9 290x for price zero.  Grin

If I was to setup a mining machine with quad 750 Ti's powered by a sempron 145, would 4gb of ram be enough to run ccminer efficiently, or would 8gb be needed?

I started out with 4GB and had some problems in Win7 x64, but with some changes to the ccminer it helped a lot when running multiple instances. Since I upgraded to 8GB (6x 750ti) I haven't had any problems at all.

Currently though, when up and running the machine is only using about 2GB.

I don't think it is 'required' right now to have more than 4GB, but honestly I wouldn't want to risk what could happen in the future over what amounts to ~$25 in RAM.

A friend is running Asrock 970 extreme4+AMD sempron 145 with 4Gb ram, running 5x750ti's with up to 3 instances without issues.
Disabled in BIOS all unnecessary devices like (audio, LPT,COM,MIDI,game, IR ports, firewire...etc...) Running win7 x64 with disabled all unnecessary processes like winsat, automatic updates, wiindows defender, etc, etc...

Price is going up again, where it should be.

If you look bigger picture you can see that tendency is raising, not falling.

XMR is too crowd now. People are mining and holding, waiting for the next DRK. Sorry Christian but it's not my thing. I mine QCN instead, they have the same protocol like XMR and a very competent dev. They even have GUI wallet now (still experimental). Right now everyone's mining XMR, it's my chance to get more QCN. If XMR should ever got explode, I think QCN deserves the same popularity as XMR. QCN has 120 sec block time and 1/2 less block reward than XMR, so logically it should 4 times expensive than XMR  Grin.

+1...

Mining QCN almost from the beginning with my core i5@4ghz and holding. I found it to be greater coin than XMR and other similarities.

I didn't sell when it was almost 6$ if I remember correctly. Now it will back up very soon.
Too bad w0lf has no plans to add merged mining with FCN in his miner

no problem...
he can always change his mind.

Jackpot algo does use some memory, so you should get higher rate with mem oc. For example if i downclock memory at -502 and raise gpu to +220 (with precision_x) I get lower hashrate. Will experiment more.

Hi folks,

I've been mining x11 at NiceHash for some time with the previous version of ccminer.
Now, with this new "killer" one, what's the best option: Talkcoin, Groestlcoin, still x11...?

Thanks in advance...  Wink

Hi Raven.

I recommend you jackpotcoin or talkcoin. I might try supercoin also but diff is insane right now. Groestl and securecoin is also an option with new ccminer release.

Hi, thx for the info. I'll check JPC.

With a single GTX 750 Ti on a non-powered riser I'm getting:
- x11 (Nicehash): 2.6MHs
- Quark (pool): 4.4MHs
- Groestl (pool): 7.6MHs
- Jackpot (pool): 5.5MHs

Power consumption varies from 85W to 92W.
x11 is the one with less consumption figure.

EDIT: How many JPCs one GTX750Ti can make a day?
Currently at minep.it mining now 12h, got 11.000 jpc per 750ti(+150gpu+150mem,non-powered riser on Asrock H81pro btc) at 5.8mhs/s so you should expect around 22.000/24h, maybe more at current diff.

Anyone contacted HashHarder admin?
Removed my miner from there, but still have some coins for payout from 20 hours ago.

I have just been paid from Hashharder, hopefully you have been too.

I informed admin about situation several hours ago.
Payments confirmed.
Just received all coins from batch  Wink

well if the MIA dev got a premine he should be able to keep the faucet topped up lol
after all what is the premine for ?

thanks for your support though Smiley

i was thinking off jumping over to Hashharder earlier too.. didn't know about the issue
maybe they have a topic for the pool ?

Yea, I agree on that one.

Will try to donate some more later. Faucet should not be empty  Smiley

There is only one but outdated thread about hh. Last post weeks ago one guy asking to fix similar problem.

pm to admin about that issue has been sent.

I send some coins to jpc faucet. Anyone in need can grab them there. Wink

btw: whats wrong with hashharder payments. Stuck in batch for more than 10 hours now. Is there any update on that issue?

Wow! Such a nice time to buy JPC!  Sold a bit off at 70-82 sat, buying back in even more at 37-41. Don't miss out! I highly doubt there will be a better buy window than we are experiencing right now.  It could go lower, sure, but wait too long and it'll more than recover

Yup, I missed the first wave....BUT....

up, up, up Jackpotcoin the stairs we go.... and then through the tunnels....   Hey! Whats in that tunnel.  Grin

If crapcoins have ability to fly to the moon, Jackpotcoin has ability to fly at least to the edge of crypto solar sistem.

Some of my rig can hash 2.6MH/s per 280x, others only can do 2.2MH/s same 280x same OS....

any ideas?

Does all your rigs have identical hardware (same mobo, CPU, RAM, PS, risers...etc, etc...)

If yes then welcome to the silicon world  Tongue

It will become even cheaper... Roll Eyes
...the announcement has been made that killer-groestl (ccminer enhancement for easy mining) may be released soon.

I will try to mine this coin and see how it will perform.

So cheap Shocked
Tongue We did not find that the benefits of GRS

There was never much benefit to GRS anyway. I tried hard to find it - but naaah. No benefits.

bbbbbb2014!

Stop trolling us!

As a miner with *many* cards 280x (I'd reveal more than 50) and as much as many cards 5850 (I'd also reveal more than 50) - I am no troll. I measure the consumption of electricity and I daily monitor what is worth mining.

When dwarf's hash rate went down from 4 GHash to 3 - well, that was me.

I tried hard to find a value in GRS. But I am unable to. Currently some other coin is several times more profitable. You think the value of GRS will rise. So far - it did not.

When you said, the value of reward goes down to 25 GRS. Who on Earth will mine that? And the POW+POS. So in fact, someone is getting coins without any mining. Been smokin' somethin'?

Some coins would *KILL* for hash rate. Well, it seems that's not a priority for you.

Forget the bounty. You should give it - but you decided not to. You should not change the rules, when a bounty payout time comes.

Hi Christian.

I'm a small miner, just got a share of jackpot mining at hashharder pool.
Is your JPC address in read.me file still actual? Please confirm, and I will send you some coins. Thank you.

If this info can be of any help: Along with 750ti's I'm using MSI 750 non-ti 1gb series also. On jackpotcoin card gives me around 3300+ khs/s in win7 64 and around 3500khs/s with win xp
Using ccminer v0.9. Asrock btc81-pro with Intel Pentium G3220 and 4Gb ram. Classic unpowered risers. OC-ed GPU+170Mhz RAM+100Mhz with precisionX. Cards are cooler than ti's because of less cuda cores, generating less heat. Temp.48c with 48% fan speed. Ti's are hotter, 55c at 66% fan speed. I have mixed rig of 6 cards. Works like a charm, now almost a month.
Tried also solo with 4 cards and found 3 blocks in 48hours at diff around 300 last week.
Thank you again for your dedicated work.
