961  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: GOOD NEWS: CBN DIRECT BANKS TO LIFT RESTRICTIONS ON CRYPTO RELATED ACCOUNTS on: July 29, 2023, 02:27:35 AM
In other words what do I mean, since this restrictions are being lifted from their users there is every tendency that any account that involves themselves with cryptocurrency trading there must be a specific fee or percentages to be withdrawn to keep milking her citizens and I know the person on seat as a task collector who doesn't do anything without attaching values to it.
This is Africa so there's nothing to be over joy of since they can't simply acts straight without attaching value to it.
This is done in other develop countries, this will basically be a tax if its done this way and its nothing bad because the government have to find a way to earn from it ( its mainly for the economy)
Quote
How much is crypto taxed in the USA? You'll pay up to 37% tax on short-term capital gains and crypto income and between 0% to 20% tax on long-term capital gains - although NFTs deemed collectibles may be taxed at 28%
962  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Altcoins Speculation thread: What projects are you observing to invest & why. on: July 27, 2023, 04:29:49 AM
Though Ethereum is still the best for NFTs and smart contracts while Solana may not secure as the Ethereum Blockchain its transactions fee is low and its quite fast and people can see it as an alternative to Ethereum for NFTs and smart contracts since Ethereum charges are really high, through this I can Solana is still a good projects to invest. Xrp also is good also since its currently winning in the SEC issues
963  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How government and us fit tel benefits for bitcoin on: July 27, 2023, 03:49:11 AM
I don observe whona reply I go say na the taxing system go dey better pass for the economy. Through this many businesses go support bitcoin more and we go dey earn and government go still dey see their own inside

Another thing to consider is if the payment gateway will use I&E window or the parallel market price. Even after the naira unification, people will still likely gain better if they use parallel market. Recently, dollar increased to $870 in the parallel market, it was around $777 in I&E window at the time. But if Nigeria government legalize cryptocurrencies, I do not know how the exchange rate would be. Or likely some traders may see arbitraging opportunities.
I prefer the I&E system than the other with the parallel market government nor really get control over the exchange rate na just people from blackmarket dey control the price and we fit see many through this your reply
964  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Local Nigerians perception on cryptocurrency and online in General on: July 26, 2023, 08:10:19 AM
Na who bring himself out na people dey talk about, na our  lifestyle dey bring police matter and people eye come our body. Yahoo boys get the way them dey package way police cor tel dey find them and if person package like them na there issue first tel dey fall out. Parents own nor be really issue, things don dey change proof don dey come out say people dey make m legitly so once person explain give them they go understand, even friends and family go understand, those way nor wan understand go still dey after all nor be everybody dey happy for person progress even if nor be online work the person dey do some people go still talk say the person na ritualist or any bad thing na just part of life. Even Jesus Christ way dey do good to all men, na those people still shout Crucify him
965  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / How government and us fit tel benefits for bitcoin on: July 25, 2023, 03:48:56 PM
My people, I know say bitcoin nor dey banned but only say cbn government put restriction and we dey see say all their plan to control/restrict growth of Bitcoin for Nigeria nor dey work even the eNaira nor even do anything. I go like know which laws about bitcoin whona reason say government fit put for Nigeria way go favour the economy?
966  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The amount of advert on websites, apps, and videos is too much. on: July 22, 2023, 03:00:22 PM
Op,  most free site (if not all) places ads on their sites since that's one of ways for them to generate income. Though the Ads from each site varies will just characterised them as annoying and least annoying. Most of these annoying sites are actually contain adware, which is a type of malware that fill your device with Ads and pop ups. You should be cautious of the site you visit and software you download and also try to use good ad blockers to avoid most of this annoying sites.

Well for me the best website wey you fit download movie without any obstruction from advert or pop ups nah https://thepiratebay.org/index.html
This is actually a lie, this site is filled with annoying ads and pop ups

Abstract
Most people use the Internet without thinking about security and privacy, they don't bother about the kind of site they visit, where they download their Applications, movies and other files/ documents, they give every authorisation a software or website request for them without checking them and others. The truth is that the Internet is not as save as we thought it was, as time goes by it becomes worst and most people still don't see the dangers until they become victimised and then they will know indeed that their device is part of their that can hold a large part of their life's. So many security threats online but some of the most common and dangerous is the phishing scam and malware threat, phishing scam can be called as the most dangerous because most of the cybersecurity threat can come from it, through phishing scam malware can be sent to a device and this is among the reason we have to be cautious of the link we clicked online, especially from email, social media and other platforms like this forum.

Malware
Malware are code or program that are usually attached to a file or software that disrupts the proper working flow of such device. This is also called malicious software, hackers implant these in order to get access to the victim device and do as he/she feels and can be to steal the victim coins, money, important documents/files or even blackmailing or requesting for ransom from them and others.

some types of malware
There are various types of malware, This include :
  • Spyware :
This malware makes itself hidden for you on your device, It observe your activity on your device and can send this to the hacker. It can be use to steal your logging details like password and username of your bank, email and others.
  • Adware :
This malware can be a software or website spam your device with Ads, they mainly pop-up ads.
  • Keylogger :
This keep track of all the the keys you click on your keyboard, it collect them and send to the hacker, with this your logging details like username and password can be stolen.
  • Rootkit :
This gives the hacker administrator control access to your device.
  • Virus :
This is a type of malware and not the term malware itself though most people use it interchangbly but that is not correct. This malware is activated by you when execute the file, link or app it is program into and then start spreading just how normal virus on living things spread. The harm cause by this malware varies from negligible to literally crashing your device.
  • Worm :
This is similar to the malware virus but one key difference is that it do automatically activate itself and start spreading.
  • Trojan or Trojan horse :
This malware at first looks like a legit software but the actual truth is that its far from that, it open a back door for the hacker to gain access to your device and then do as he/she pleases like install other malware mostly Ransomware. Its among the most(if not the most) dangerous malware
  • Ransomware :
This malware give the hacker authority to either to completely lock you out of your device or lock you out of some directory of your device. This malware has become preferably by hackers since its easier for them to request ransom from the victims in order give them access to their device or file.
  • Cryptojacking/Malicious crypto mining :
This malware allow hackers to mine cryptocurrency using your own computer and the rewards go to the hacker. This is usually place on your computer through the Trojan malware.
There are also other malware and all these malware have various classes and examples, how destarous depends on what the hacker want to do. Just as there have been growth for the fight against Malware there have been also been growth on the immunity of malware to fight against them, some malware can fight or even make itself invincible to them.

Some signs to know malware affected device
There are some signs to know if your device might be affected by malware, this include :
  • When you notice sudden loss of your device storage
  • When your device processor start slowing down and your device start over heating
  • When you notice a sudden increase on your internet activity and also when your browser settings changes e.g you notice a new extensions, plug-ins or toolbars.
  • When your lose access to your device, some files or documents.
  • When your Anti-Malware assistance stop responding for no reason
Malwares mostly affect your device through the internet (though can also affect them through USB drive and file transfer offline), where and what we download matters and links we click on matters.

Some steps to protect your device from malware
Some steps to consider to protect your device against malware include :
  • Be cautious of where you download your files and application and also try to know the actual files and application you are about to download to avoid clone.
  • Be cautious of the site you visit and also of the links you click especially when it was sent to you or posted by someone you don’t know
  • Be cautious of the type of authorization you give to some applications because there is a possibility of your download to contain malware even if you where downloading from a trusted source
  • Be cautious of the Anti-Malware assistance you use because some of them are while malware themselves while some may be doing little or nothing i.e just occupying space
  • Avoid cracked closed source apps since you can not tell what was done on it
  • Be cautious of any sudden change on your device and browser, don`t see it as it doesn`t matter since your device is like a part of you especially when your coins or financial documents are stored on that device because most times this small changes can turn to something disastrous.
  • Update apps early especially those which you use for security and privacy protection and also delete apps that you are no longer using
  • Have at least a basic knowledge of cybersecurity and also try to stay updated about the latest malware, phishing scam and other cyber threat and protection news.

Before it was published it was first approved by the China Government.
  He stated here this:

I worked with three professors who had the opportunity to study the language in the US. This is the product of our efforts after three years. I will be going to China in September to test-run the book.
China begins studies in Yoruba, produces first textbook
969  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Drainage is not a dump yard on: July 13, 2023, 10:05:16 AM
OP, you have two same thread here on this same topic. Why don't you lock one and leave this one for the discussion that you created it for.
Thanks for this, I tried posting it earlier but my network was bad and I just went offline, thought that it didn't go through so I just posted it without checking.
Will be more Cautious next time.

In my state we lack drainage and it is really affecting during raining season and flood period. I don't know what by the government don't care about our drainage anymore to help reduce the flood in our environment anytime that it rains. Anyway sha,na we dey put dirty wey dey block the drainage and no be government dey do am. na e make for big cities, government cover all the drainage so that you no go fit put any dirty inside gutter. Naija na country wey be say everybody dey do as e like forgetting say your action fit affect the next person negatively.
Oh your state do lack (I guess that should have been the state governor problem to fix?) I don't really know about the rural areas in my state though but I won't really blame the government for this because the little ones done on the road is not even cared for. In some ways the circle of life of governors is different government fixing the same problem because is either its not done properly or the citizens carelessly spoilt it.

Coming from a newbie to some bot account with 0 activity . LOML
I checked their accounts and realized that they may have more high rank accounts. However, all of them opened their accounts in August 2018. Looking at these accounts, it is suspected that the owner of these accounts may be one. Because all their accounts are  have been opened around the same time. I will investigate the alt of these accounts. If they are involved in any illegal activity I will find out and take strict action against them.
971  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Drainage is not a dump yard on: July 13, 2023, 01:51:51 AM
In Nigeria almost all the drainage has a blockage just from the fact that citizens has turned the drainage to dump yard and they suffer from it especially during this period of rain. The government are not trying the little that is done should be appreciated and cared for because when it gets bad again we still gonna suffer it.

It's raining season and we can see the effects of this, when they are poured into drainage. How many times have you gone out during this raining season and have not seen a block drainage leading to road or other places filled with water. We mostly don't care till it affects us that like the biggest issue in Nigeria. Let's try to limit the use of rubber and plastic and even if we do use it, let's us try to dispose them properly. This causes soil and water pollution (since plastic is a non-biodegradable waste).
Pet coke use the tag RECYCLE Me but most times it's still end in drainage
Is not everything the government has to enact laws on before we know is bad
Pray God help us to the right thing always

Abstract
I was inspired to write this post after reading this post by Charles Tim, saw that it will be more useful in our local board.
People gives less concern about  their privacy online, like what big companies like Google or sites they visit do with their data. This data collected by big companies like Google or the sites they visit are personal information that shouldn’t  be shared with anyone, though big companies like Google or sites they visit never speaks of the fact that there is a possibility of them selling those data to third parties which can use the data to steal from such individual  or blackmailing them or any other cybercrime. People should be cautious of the browsers, search engines, VPNs, emails and many others like social media they use and the data they share there.

Introduction
People store their bitcoin and other digital assets and even important business credentials on their phones, tablets and computers without really being cautious about their privacy, such carelessness can give hackers an opportunity to enter into an individual device and steal their bitcoin or other digital assets or credentials. Aside stealing digital assets or business credentials, Hackers may steal really important information of such individual. This among the reason why it is very important for One to be very cautious about their privacy, since we are in the digital age and cyber crime is increasing as day goes by.
People use the internet without the knowledge of reasons for privacy protection. People are using various search engines and browsers that pleases them, accepting every terms from the browsers, sites or APPs they use without ever reading them and also accepting cookies without knowing what they are use for and they don’t even bother to do research to know the dangers of what they are doing. People ignorance on privacy are the reasons their device are being hack or they being scammed.

What are cookies ?
Cookies are data that websites drop on visitors browser storage in order to keep track of where the user have visited on the web. It is use to identify a user on the web, to keep track of visitors like their Log in details ( in order to be use for auto sign in) , presenting webpages just as the user would prefer. The data are collected from the users when they accept cookies, such data include the user location and IP address, personal data like email address and phone number, Log in information, minutes spent on sites, items added to cart and others. There is nothing bad until the sites or browser choose to sell them to third party (though some websites ask for permissions for third party cookies ) which may use it against the user , though the site may even choose to use it against the user, this are reasons why users should read the cookies they to accept before accepting them in order which of their data is being collected, be careful of sites they giving their consent in collecting their data and also try to avoid to site that request for cookies.

Fingerprinting :
this is more recent threat on user privacy on the internet, though user can delete cookies or turn off third party cookies, sites can still track users through fingerprinting which can be stop only when the user get a new device or use a browser that can change the information. This doesn`t need user IP address, it uses javascript to collect details about the hardware and other component of the user device which makes such device unique from every other devices, it generate an ID through this and it is use to track such user activities online.

Privacy browsers
What is Chromium :
Chromium is an open source browser develop by Google, though it is a browser itself but many other browsers are built using its source code, some offer privacy while others are malicious, staling users data, infecting users device with malware and others. The Chromium browser itself offer privacy if one can set it though it has a complex set up and unless you are have advance knowledge it is advisable not set up yourself in order not to accidently make your privacy public. Its update speed is among the fastest because new update are being released almost everyday. The red flag of Chromium is from the fact that though it is an open source Google still has some control over it .

  Brave browser :
This is among the most secured browser, though it is relatively new but on default i.e without using extensions, it is a privacy base browser.
Pros
1 Offer protection from fingerprinting, blocks Ad and trackers by default
2 If users accept ad viewing, they earn token called BAT (Basic attention token) which users can use as they please i.e they can choose to withdraw, gift to a content writers or websites or simply exchange for other coins.
3 It is fast just like Chrome since they are built on Chromium and It removes those Google features which obstruct users privacy.
4 It offers a private browsing mode that uses Tor to make users Anonymous.
5 It has a good user interface and offer customizable features and extensions to improve Privacy.
6 ino
Cons
1 It is still relatively new
2 The extensions and customization it offer are few compare to other privacy browsers
3 It is not as transparent as it seems because someone caught them autocompleting URL of certain crypto site with their affiliate link .
4 It is built on Chromium source code
5 Requires KYC to earn BAT token

 Epic browser :
This is another privacy browser built on Chromium source code. They their promise on delivering extreme privacy, no Auto-syncing, no Auto-spell and others by default
Pros
1 It blocks ads, cookies, fingerprinting and trackers by default, You can see the numbers of cookies and trackers blocked.
2 Other default features are present like automatically deleting  browsing history, no login data are stored and no save links for autosuggestion when typing web address.
3 Uses DuckDuckGo as default search engine
4 It can be customize for your own convenience at the expense of your privacy

Cons
1 Its blocks RTC calls that can review users IP ( as this can give information about user location and device details) address and this can make it hard for some people.
2  It is built on Chromium source code

Tor browser :
When it comes to being anonymous online Tor browser is the best, it has been consistent in protection of user privacy for long . when changing the settings you should be careful not to compromise your privacy ( changing settings should be done my advance users).
Pros
1 It blocks ads, cookies, fingerprinting and trackers by default
2 When it comes to user privacy Tor browser is the best
3 It uses DuckDuckGo as default search engine

Cons
1 It is quite slow because of the means it use for protection of user privacy which is onion routing
2 It support few majority of extension and users should be careful  when changing settings since they compromise privacy (This should be done by advance users)
3 It main focus is user privacy and lacks in some areas of security like not having anti-malware technology and blocks plug-ins by design

Mozilla Firefox browser :
Aside being among the most used browser in world, it is an open source browser and it offer privacy and security to users. It has an enhanced privacy features.
Pros
1 It blocks ads, cookies, fingerprinting and trackers by default
2 customizing extensions can be done easily
3 It has an impressive collection of security features in it add ons
4 It is trusted by millions, since has existed for long and its an open source code
Cons
1 It enable telemetry, pocket and startup profiling data collection which send user usage and performance data to Mozilla by default. Though these can be disable in settings

DuckduckGo browser :
At first DuckDuckGo was only a privacy search engine but it does has it browser now though it has not fully integrated to a browser, it browser is currently available on mobile while for desktops, its still in progress. It mobile app provide private search, website protection, blockers and more.

Other privacy browsers
 Mullvad browser
Vivaldi
Freenet
Waterfox
These browser listed can also block JavaScript to prevent fingerprinting but blocking JavaScript makes most websites unable to work or function well since most websites are also built with JavaScript. You can use extensions to make your Chrome and Safari browser to gain some privacy but you should know that using extensions for Chrome is really complex. Get a good knowledge of the extension you want to use because there can be malicious extensions also.
Privacy search engine
Some criteria to know a good privacy search engine include :
1 Doesn`t track user data
2 Has an easy to use interface
3 Search results are delivered appropriately
4 Offer customizable options for users
5 Transparent  with users

DuckDuckGo :
DuckDuck is one of the most (if not the most) used privacy search engine, its extension is compatible with Chromium base browsers, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and other browsers. If you are interested in local search results DuckDuckGo is the best. It user interface is similar to google search. They generate income by displaying ads in the right side bar which is still much better than google ads and through small commissions they earn from eCommerce site like Amazon since they may add their affiliate code to the site and then being paid when user makes purchase there.

Qwant :
This is a metasearch engine, it primarily get search results from Bing though it also has it own capabilities of getting search results. It has one of the best user experience with features to narrow search results like news, images, social, or videos though they are not personalized to user preference since it doesn`t store users data . It has products like Qwant Maps, Qwant music, Qwant boards ( similar to pinterest) and Qwant junior ( for kids). It has extensions for Chrome and Firefox and apps available for IOS and Android. One of the ways they earn is through affiliate deals with sites such as eBay and so for some searches these sites may make it to the top of result pages.

Swisscows :
Its based is in Switzerland and it is available in eight language ( English, Italian and Spanish included ). Most of it search results is from Bing since it partners with Bing. It search result delivering system differs from other search engine. No ads since it relies on donations from users and businesses. Swisscows is ideal for family use since it  child-friendly  by filtering adult content such as pornography and violence. It has a good user interface, users can look specifically for images, videos, or music and some other features. It has additional tools including a translation tool like google translate.

Information Google and other big companies are tracking
Personal information
Unique identifiers like IP address
Activity like search terms, time spent on activity
Location info
Getting people from public sources like advertisers
Though the amount of data collected from this areas listed above varies by this big companies, like Apple, they keep mainly data they need to uphold users account  and Amazon since they depend less on advertising revenue while companies like
Facebook, Google and Twitter which are advertising revenue dependent collect more data from users. Out of all the user data collecting from big companies google is the most hungry, weather when using Gmail or Google Maps, Google still find ways from collecting users data.

Why this tracking is an issue ?
This companies especially google may customers some positive reasons for collecting their data like for personalisation, while others may not see the ads as an issue more rather as an assistant to get quickly what they want. The fact that it do have a pros doesn`t there are no cons, This users data can be sold sometimes highest bidders and even if they are cautious of who they user data to that doesn`t mean those (the third parties) would do the same and soon the user data would be with some group of people who may use it against such users which might be stealing of such user funds, business documents or Identity or even blackmailing and any other cybercrime. Aside selling their database might be hack and such users privacy would be compromise.

Encrypting internet connection with VPN
A VPN (virtual private network) establishes a secure connection between a user and the internet. A secure VPN disguises users IP address when they use the internet and also secure against external attacks because only the user can access the data in encrypted through the VPN. There are features a secure VPN should have that ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data transferred to the network. This features include :
1 Secure encryption
2 Open source VPN protocols
3 No logs policy i.e they do not keep record of user activity
4 kill switch ( This automatically disconnects user device from the internet when network drops)
5 DNS leak protection
6 Multi factor authentication
7 RAM-only servers i.e data is deleted from servers on  server reboot
8 Obfuscation mode i.e VPNs can get pass anti-VPN technology use by Governments and some websites with concealment using obfuscation and mode.
Some of the best VPNs are : NORDVPN, Express VPN, Proton VPN. Though they also have their pros and cons but you can see them all here

 Making your communications private
Keeping your data safe online is crucial. When transfer data on the internet there are trace which attackers can follow to get those data and this should be avoided, so when sending confidential information it is advisable to encrypt them using End-to-end encryption (E2EE) since it is the most secure form of encryption. Though some platform may offer encryption of your information but the kind of encryption they offer may not be E2EE, they may be able to still get the info you passed even when they encrypt them because theirs is not E2EE, some may lie that they do offer E2EE  and which they don`t.

Using encrypted email(s)
Top email companies like Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook and others may offer a feature of encryption like transiting encryption which can encryption your data while transiting but not when at rest I.e it can be hack when it get to the receiver end. This feature is also limited i.e they can always do it since they need acceptance from the other mailing service. Though the information using the mailing services like gmail are not encrypted on basic, there are some end-to-end mail services like proton mail

Limiting information shared privately and publicly
The most common place to get information of most people is through Social media. People don`t think about their details they share online filling every bit of details requested by the social media for them correctly and when compiled can form a complete or mini ID for such person, this include ( Name, date of birth, home address, workplace and others). You should try to limit the information you share online if its possible don`t use your name, date of birth or don`t post about your place of work and others. Limiting information shared online is not restricted to social media, there are others like those platform requesting for kyc.
Identity theft is too common and when can see it here from the  those fraudsters (Yahoo guys or girls) works they go to social media find a User which as enough info they need online and still his/her identity. Aside this, some identity are stolen by sending their details through direct message, some lost their funds just from the fact that they sent them their login details and also even send verification pin to just because they trust someone they met online.
Be cautious of phishing scam
This has been existing for long and its still growing, more people are still victimized. Phishing scammers attempts to steal login credentials, information about such person/company, money or infect device with malware. Phishing scam are mainly through sending message to possible victims by email or any electronic communication like facebook, twitter, whatsapp and others , also by clicking, visiting or downloading  from unsecured sites or sites. It can even be done in this forum and that the reason you see most veteran members usually pressed on the fact that they did not click on some link sent by some users especially Newbies.
Here are some ways to prevent phishing scam
1 Be careful of the site you visit or link you click
2 Be careful of where you download and also who is sending to you
3 When you get emailed or message from e-communication, check if the domain is same with the one you use and know that most (if not all) financial services like banks or exchanges ( like binance and others) don`t request for users to provide their password or 2FA.
3 There are some dangers in using public Wifi through it scammers can be able to send malware to your device, so its better to use a secure VPN when you use a public Wifi.
4 Don`t trust anyone online, be cautious of what you send to others
5 Be careful of the sites you give access to your account like bank details, e-mail and others (  including KYC).
6 Don't ignore system update on your device especially pertaining to your security
7 Be careful of where you store your password and other important documents online and also try to use a strong password you can remember.
8 Install good and trustworthy Anti-Virus don't just go and download any random one because you may lost what you are trying to protect through it.
9 Don't be tempted to click on pop ups they can contain malware
10 Try to have at least a basic knowledge in Cyber security

Keep your phone and simply lock

Cybercrime is increasing fast in Nigeria, people have been victimised when their phone or device is lost or stolen, with sim card even if your phone is locked it still possible for criminals to steal money from your bank account since the sim is not locked, when you using phone locked try to use different passwords especially for your money app like wallet and bank app, also be careful of who you share your password with (Those we trust may have malicious plans against you) pray God separate us from them. Your type of phone matter on the Locked you use Samsung, IPhone and some others has good biometric locked but that doesn't mean all does like Itel. Use the best lock for your device.

Conclusion
Keeping data secure online can not be 100%, you have to find what works for you best. Cybercrime continue to grow so we have to be cautious of what we do online and also when you are searching for privacy, Switzerland, Belgium and others are good because those countries are privacy countries (I.e if you don't want the government to collect your data).

I get the fact that this thread is to warn newbies about the danger of using centralise system and also how they put their privacy at risk by completing KYC process. But I couldn't help but wonder if you ever took your time to go through the ToS of the exchange before you made deposit? because it's clearly stated that all users are required to complete their identity verification before they can perform some certain activity and the fact that you didn't read the Terms also shows a wrong use of online services.
I did know about their previous ToS till they changed it, at that time (before I knew about the dangers of Kyc) I wanted use it to store my coins since I won't be able to withdraw without Kyc because at that time I couldn't get the required documents for the Kyc (till now though) but the fact is I never expected them to change their ToS good thing I don't have any coin of high value there.
This is not about their privacy only but the fact that the exchange can change their ToS which may be unfavorable to some customers

Back to the Op, Since you mentioned that you created this account before you became a member of bitcointalk and now a preacher of the importance of using non-custodial wallet, do well to also practice it.
Yes but I have done alot of dumb things, thinking Kyc was secured where as they are alot of dangers surrounding it. I recommend this post for anyone who wants to know about the dangers of Kyc Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless

Snip
Thanks though but this is from them, I do get emails frequently for though.

Coinbase sent this to my email to inform me that I have till September 25th before my account is disabled and I should withdraw my funds before then but the fact is that I have not completed my KYC and so I won't be able to withdraw my funds there. Good thing what I have there doesn't really worth anything. Even if I want to do kyc I still can't because getting my documents would be really tasking for me.
This is among the reason we should be cautious of Centralise exchange because they can choose to change their terms and conditions which may be unfavourable to us.
Ps : I already have this account before I joined this Forum

Why does it seems like merit begging, what is merit begging because as it seems now it all depends on user preference, what one sees as smart move may be seems by another as dumb (with regards to the upper rank members).

Ranking up becomes difficult as time goes because there are a lot of members joining this forum though some are spammers, shit posters and others who go against the rule but there are others who also sticks to the rules and try to contribute in what way they can but did find it hard in ranking up, I guess that why Theymos created the merit source system and they work the way its convenient or  they see its more appropriate for them but currently it seems like there are few merit source (maybe they are few indeed or they have become tired of meriting others who later become shit posters or break rules or more focus on their local board or some other reasons) since there are now more good posters as time goes by ( keeping the fact that there are also more rule breakers ).
OP the fact is Fillippone doesn't want any assistance because if he does he would have stated it, just as how LoyceV did here
Merit sources
If you want to help, please add this topic to your watch list (or post here). If you post as a Merit source, I won't delete that post
because this is among the Thread that inspired him to allocate merit this way.

However, I don't know how many merit sources there currently are, or how active they are, but I'll betcha it'd probably help things if Theymos added some new ones.  Speaking of that, I haven't seen any new applications to be a merit source in quite some time.
But I don't think there is really any need for more merit source at the moment because there are likely gonna be more shit post merited since more smerits would be available and the standard for a good post would decrease or have a stunted growth as time goes by (I guess that the reason Theymos has not add any more merit source currently).

Welcome to this forum, as long as you don't break any of those rules, you have nothing to worry about when you make a post or reply.

Sorry for everything you have gone through because of how your university treated you but you can't judge the world from a single view. In my own country students suffers from the lecturers (still yet not all are bad), Lecturals skip classes for no reasonable reasons, intentionally failing students just for them (the students) to come and pay for an upgrade of their grade (acting righteous) or just because of their lustful desires which may lead them to later sleeping or raping the student, setting topics they didn't teach in exams, more concerned on selling their books or materials than teaching, sending more materials of a course few days or a day to exam while some just drop materials within the semester and then the next time they probably come again is during exam and others.

Those I listed above are some of the things students suffers from the lecturers but in everything Students here still survive but the most painful is during final year, when some students will be shocked to see that they had missing scripts or failed some course in their previous years which they never did before and then they spillover. This has made some students to come to the notion that, its during final clearance that they know their actual grades hoping they can graduate.

With this can I say all Lecturals (even professors) are evil ? Or can I say all Universities are evil ?
I won't say you fighting for Justice is bad, but the way you are acting makes it seems like you are delusional. If you don't want to for therapy then try some meditation

To me a happy home is built on trust, understanding, loyalty, love and forgiveness (thought of adding this because of our current societal behaviour, once a partner makes mistakes, majority of the advice they get is about divorce or revenge ) .

I don't know if what I'm doing is right or not, but maybe I think it's the best way to start in this forum. Honestly, I'm still afraid of violating the rules and getting banned. I know there are many members who got banned, but I don't know what they did wrong
Punishment for violating rules is not only ban (there are other punishment), it depends on the rule violated by the user or how many times it was continously done before a user is banned. Here is a Thread about the rules of this forum Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

For the next step, maybe I will read about bitcoin wallets. I just got an electrum wallet, but I don't know what its features are yet. I thought I could learn it here for free.

I failed to post mine on Discord, didn't see the post about contestant posting their pizza on Discord earlier, though it was later posted by John Abraham or Cyrus but I know am already out, so next time I will be careful in the rules but it would have been better if the voting was done here with some rules guiding on how it should be done just as previous contest on this Forum like:
