Here is my story about PD and how and why i became moderator and so on, Heutenamos :
https://forum.bitcoin.com/post4881.html#p4881

MICRO has gotten to the dark side(Bitcoin forum) everyone overboard the PD ship, abort abort!

Haha... We will always stay very active here on this forum but we will extend to that one also.
Its good forum and we think it deserves some attention.

Hint Wink : Check out primedice giveaways there Tongue
Was just reading your story, you said that 2 months after you came in, stunna gave you the position of a moderator. IIRC you came to primedice somewhere in December2013/January2014 right? and after that i don't think you were given the moderator position in two months. It took you a lot more than that(i am kinda pretty sure of it).
962  Economy / Services / Re: C# Application Development on: November 01, 2015, 08:52:48 AM
I'll make any Windows application for cheap prices.
You can decide that it will be closed or open source.
I'll do my work with Visual Studio and Visual C#.
Prices range from 0.03 to 0.5 BTC.
If you are interested, send me a PM
Can you please show some of your previous works or show some examples of what you can make? Do you have some website relating to you, telling your experience and some details about yourself?
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The lack of newbie friendly tutorials on: November 01, 2015, 05:53:25 AM
I've noticed with basically every platform coming out today, there are an impressive amount of tutorials. Bitcoin doesnt seem to have much of a tutorial database outside of the official bitcoin developer pages. I'm just wondering why there seems to not be much of a push from the community to have more tutorials on the technical side of bitcoin.

I think it would benefit developers and the bitcoin community a considerable amount if there were more resources for developers, will we start to see more of them as time goes on?
I don't think so. There are more than enough tutorials available for btc. At the time when i cam into this thing, there were enough tutorials(for an average guy and not for someone dumb). Now time has passed and more and more tutorials have come into being. There are always less tutorials for a dumb person and always enough for an average guy.
964  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: November 01, 2015, 05:00:28 AM
I guess it's time to have a new title after legendary. :v

I'll get there someday, probably 7 - 9 months from now (lol I wish). 306338 seems lucky for me. Smiley

There's no doubt there will be new titles after the legendary one, but it would be nice if they would unlock based on more than just pure activity.
It would add a bit more thrill to the chase, and it would make people appreciate it more.
Maybe adding of animated avatar for new membership, and a custom frame for username. It's shame that legendary rank doesn't have some of these "perks"

I wouldn't be so sure of them adding a rank higher than Legendary, it already takes over two years of being active on the site to become Legendary. Only ranks really higher than that are for Donors and Staff members, and I don't see that changing.

As for the animated avatar bit, I know myself as well as others would prefer not to have any animated avatars on the site. Some avatars can be annoying already, I don't really want to see any animated ones. Plus, IIRC last time animated avatars were allowed, it opened up an exploit in the site.

I have seen a few users with animated gifs for avatars here, although I thought they did not work.
If you upload the gif avatars now they won't work. People with working gif avatars are those who uploaded the gif avatars in or before 2013.

Happy hour starting now - 10k extra satoshi's per claim Smiley.

PAY YOUR SOFTWARE GLITCHES STUNNA
Now i get it i guess, you did a max bet without pressing the max button? You just typed in the bet amount and then did a bet. That ain't a glitch, stunna never said that he'd be giving you warnings before making stupid bets.
966  Economy / Gambling / Re: So i found another btc game (gamble) on: November 01, 2015, 04:47:05 AM
I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND PLAYING HERE

This is what they ask for withdrawal of bitcoins:
Quote
For security reasons there is an ID-check before your first payout. A copy of an official ID card is needed (ID card, passport or driving license).

We will get notified by e-mail if your ID has been checked. After that you can apply for payouts any time. Your document will be checked as soon as possible and takes up to 24 hours.

Donations are highly appreciated as i just lost 15 dollars because of this potential scam.
Here is my address 1JAskP3eqkPNk7x9myYF57VQ6XjXwNcy58 . Thank you for your support

I told you earlier that the game is too easy to be true! You shouldn't have been greedy and shouldn't have deposited in the first place. Now suffer.
967  Economy / Gambling / Re: So i found another btc game (gamble) on: October 31, 2015, 02:37:25 PM
Well afaik seeds are used for generating something random, and getting a random result so that makes gambling provably fair. In this case i dont understand where the seeds will be used.

P.S : The game is really easy and it needs to speed up a lot lot to become profitable for the house. Also everyone stay away. This most probably is a scam cause its too easy and owners aren't that stupid to loose money in this game.
968  Economy / Gambling / Re: So i found another btc game (gamble) on: October 31, 2015, 09:48:59 AM
Are they paying?

I'm not sure tbh.

Back when that place was just USD, i don't think they really paid out. I don't have the btc to test atm, but when i do ill see what happens.

You do not think they really paid out but you announce them in here? Seriously?
You say you already tried them here

"I don't see any provably fair information!!!
Site used to be called 3blox apparently.
I fooled around with it last night a little - Don't use CE to try to slow the speeds down. ( anti-hack measure)
I did notice that the very top line skipped over blocks.... ( to me it seems like it)
I also created a script in autoit to read a square area and click stop when (color"red") was within the area, it still skipped over blocks..
THis is the idea i wanted to do for the gambling aspect, but guess i was to late, lol"

And now you said I don't have the btc to test atm  Huh

There is an option for testing out the website without btc. I guess what the OP meant was that he did not test them out with money but he just tried it for free.

So, i thought i had a good idea of the skill based block stacking game via bitcoin. I had only seen it in local gas stations etc, well when i started looking around for information to make it a reality, i stumbled upon a game already. UGH-  Thoughts?

PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK

If someone could make it provably fair, i think it would be a great game..

CAUTION
www.Crazyblox.com

The game is really good(i played without any deposit). i think some advance bot maker can cheat the game easily if they don't add seed in the game.
What are seeds supposed to do in this game? AFAIU this is a skill based game and no seed can help in preventing bots from winning the game.

Its really an interesting game and i would have deposited there if someone confirms that they are paying out and are not really a scam. Also, if some trusted member can make such a site, i would be happy to play there.

Edit : After 10mins of practice i find it very easy to reach 10x, and after reaching 100x it is constantly asking to register and ain't letting me play without registration.
972  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Debit Card | BIT-X.com | Anonymous or Named | Low Fees! on: October 31, 2015, 05:47:40 AM
how many regular anonymous cards and anonymous limited cards can I have per account?

Can I have 10 of each?

Why would you want so many cards?? More cards = more monthly fee(when it starts), so whats the point of doing it? I guess you can only have 1 card/type.

I miss the random Happy Hours!! You guys should bring them back like once a week or something.

Same here, though I would prefer to have scheduled happy hours as I would have a better chance to catch it. After all, not everyone are staying on PD all the time.
it does not really matter we need happy hours at least even though its usually at night for me
I've seen HH happening at almost every moments of the day, i don't know how it's always night where you live. Where you live? On the other side of moon?
i missed them many times ,so what i dont live on earth ? its just the time zones difference, nothing strange.
Being busy and missing the Happy Hours is one thing but saying that they always happen at night(in his time zone) is completely a different thing.
I guess im too late and missed happy hours too here, im very like happy hours and missed it Sad well bad luck hopefully next happy hours soon.
Don't worry, the Happy Hour never happened. Everyone is still waiting for it and we were just talking about that we are starting to miss it. So be careful, it may happen anytime.

Just tried running the bot and it shows, "its not a valid Win32 application" . Does it have something to do with my pc being a 32bit pc? Do i need to upgrade to run it?

976  Local / India / Re: Three years back a guy had Rs. 50 lacs for investment... on: October 31, 2015, 04:35:14 AM
I just stumbled upon a question in Yahoo answers. A guy asked the following question...

I have Rs. 50 lacs for investment. i want to generate 50 to 60 k per month or 12 to 15 % return annually.?

Of course, the best answer chosen did not excite me. But, just look at the last but one answer. What if the guy followed the last but one advice, that got one downvote ?

https://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20121212021642AAx9KZX

That was bad investment advice. I agree with the down vote.
Investment advice should depend on the needs of the investor.

what you replied is correct but if he had invested in bitcoin, then i think his investment would have gone down because i think 3years back the price was above 500+ usd and today it is nearly 280+.

How come ? Three years back means it was 2012, when the price was below $100. If he invested then, he could have enjoy the rally from $100 to $1000, i.e. 10 fold increase of his investment in one year. So, he could turn his Rs. 50 lacs to Rs. 5 crore.
And in the end he would have lost them all through gambling.
 Grin
The way he would have earned those 5cr would also have been a kind of a gamble( investing in a cryptocurrecy with an uncertain future is gambling). So, doesn't matter if would have lost them while gambling.
Uncertainty doesn't make everything gambling. Most investments have uncertainty to some level.
I also think that it would have been a great decision on questioner's part had he heeded to that guy's answer and invested even 10% of his money in Bitcoin. That said let me add that only if we knew whats in store in future,we wouldn't be asking for advices

Yes, uncertainty(in the case of investing in bitcoin in 2012) made it look like gambling, or i can say it actually was gambling.
Nobody knows if its is gonna go up, down, sideways or in fucking circles. It’s all a fugazi! Yeah, fugazi, fogazi. It’s a wazi, it’s a woozi. It’s…fairy dust. It doesn’t exist, it’s never landed, it is no matter, it’s not on the elemental chart. It’s not fucking real.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debate: Do you think criminals do more good than harm to bitcoin? on: October 31, 2015, 04:14:51 AM
Lately I have seen another news of some kidnappers demanding ransom in bitcoin. Then the family seems to be really bought $1.7M worth of BTC (about 5.5k BTC as my estimate). This would be one of the reason for the recent price increase ($1.7M is a lot of money!). However medias keep spreading false information on bitcoin, like stating 'bitcoin is using widely in criminals' etc.

So how do you think? Does the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
First of all i hope that every service provider relating to bitcoin blacklists the kidnapper's address and don't let them use their bitcoin.
Second, i think that yes, if you see for the price and popularity of bitcoin, criminal activities are doing good for the price of the coin. We get media coverage because of these things. Bitcoin came into limelight when it was used in the blackmarket so according to me, yes, we need these things for the betterment of bitcoin and after all criminal activities are a part of this world.
