i also suggest therapy

This. Also inspect your lifestyle. A lot of your problems are usually caused by an overabundance of stress hormones like cortisol, this can often be successfully and quickly dealt with by adopting a better lifestyle incorporating a sports regime consisting of weight lifting and cardio, ensuring enough sleep ( 7+ hours/night ) and a vitamin-rich diet.

Why does Ron Paul need to be involved in this?

He's asking himself the same thing whenever coiner accost him about bitcoin.

My plan is to wait until the value drops and buy some coins. and then sell when the price goes higher on sites like bitstamp.

You shouldn't talk about these plans out in the open. Someone might steal your idea.
966  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 200-202 AD Roman Silver Denarius - One Day Soldier's Pay on: September 02, 2013, 01:42:30 PM
Also like a dime, this coin (as well as all Denarius coins) contains a specific amount of silver, which is a hair greater than that of a pre-'65 dime.

That is quite impossible as by 200 AD the silver amount in Denarii sank way below 50 % total material. At a raw weight of 3,4 g for a 200 AD denarius we are talking less than 1,7 g silver. The pre-65 dime weighs 2,5 g with a 90 % silver content, so 2,25 g of silver.

Also while it is correct that in 211 BC when the first Denarii were made, a Denarius was equivalent to a days pay for a laborer or common soldier, this value was dropping rapidly, especially after the numerous modifications to raw weight and silver content after 64 AD.  By 200 AD, Denarii were completely and utterly worthless.

I know. I was joking.
968  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Everybody who gives BFL more money is a fool on: September 02, 2013, 01:07:16 PM
That's easy. Just send the BTC to the adress below.

I don't want to donate to you Sad

But you'll receive exactly the same thing.

You might actually be able to offer better CS and PR than BFL so he might actually be slightly ahead of the game by donating to you as opposed to BFL!

I am not familiar with all your acronymity, but judging from Inabaspeak I'll have to assume that CS stands for cocksucking. In which case I'll have to admit that I would source out this particular part of the business to interested third parties.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i have a few questions. on: September 02, 2013, 01:03:51 PM
Hello.
im starting out in the bitcoin world and i want to ask you somethings:

1. do you use it mainly to make money?
2. how do you make money out of it? mining or buy&sell the coins?
3. how often are the big jumps in value? like 50$ differences.
4. is there any official value? or do i need to go by what sits like bitstamp says? (131$)
5. how much money do you usually make from buying and selling? im planing on starting with a small amount. like 3 bitcoins.
5. how risky is it? its not like the value drops allot for a long time so there isnt really a risk, especially if im going to mess with 3 coins... (?)

thanks.

5. (the second one) The risk is immeasurable. Value may plummet down like an asteroid powered by a rocket to slam the thing headfirst right down into a major city centre (oh wait, that's my world conquest plans, not the BTC plan). But yeah, it may plummet like that. Any day. Any time. And you'll never get out in time. Both. The city and BTC.

Fallout games have always pleased me. From tatics to new vegas. I loved them all. Even when I have completed every single side quest & multiple ending, I can still have fun. Actually I might just have a fallout night.

Have you played the "original"? Wasteland?
972  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Everybody who gives BFL more money is a fool on: September 02, 2013, 12:44:50 PM
Where can I order something from BFL?

That's easy. Just send the BTC to the adress below.

At least you're getting 105%.

The 5% are pure profit.
975  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENT: Coinjar is a SCAM. Deletes your accounts on: September 02, 2013, 11:40:08 AM
Zhou Tong is a scammer. Scamming millions worth of BTC with Bitcoinica wasn't enough - he is back with his latest "venture", CoinJar.

My account has been deleted and I have lost the Bitcoins I have been placed on there. I am 100% sure I entered the email and password correctly (I use a password manager), and resetting passwords do not work.

DO NOT TRUST COINJAR. THEY SELECTIVELY DELETE ACCOUNTS AND IGNORE YOU.

I would appreciate if you could send a support ticket to support@coinjar.io before accusing publicly without evidence.

Today we temporarily locked an account because it was flooding the network with 0.00000010 BTC transactions (over 3000 of them all to the same address). As we cover the miner fees for CoinJar users, that resulted in a huge loss.

Is that yours? We want to know your use case. Really sorry for any inconvenience but we are happy to give you all your Bitcoin back. We don't even ask for the miner fees back. Send an email to support@coinjar.io and an account manager will reactive your account at first opportunity. Our support portal is also available 24/7 at support.coinjar.io.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hey zhoutong, how's the Chinese billionaire relic hunter über hacker?

Well, I for one am convinced.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin farming, the next frontier on: September 02, 2013, 11:20:44 AM
That would actually be amazing!  At my place, our grocery shops have auto-checkout, it would be amazing to have bitcoins has a payment option Smiley

Yeah and you can stand there for up to 15 minutes waiting for the first confirmation if its a slow block  Wink

That's what baseball bats are for.

Do people realize the OP is talking about Bitcoin?  He is using tongue-n-cheek to describe the fast block rewards.

Or maybe I am the dumb one and everyone else is just playing along woth the OP.    Roll Eyes

I have received reports to move this thread to the alternate cryptocurrencies board.  Roll Eyes

Please do so, I want to see the reaction.
