Maybe, but more likely institutional money with its eyes on Bitcoin thinks Libra is 'good' for BTC, so the onslaught against it (which is understandable from a nervous established system) looks 'bad' for BTC in their eyes. In fact Libra has little to do with Bitcoin, as Libra isn't really an investment, whereas Bitcoin patently is. Decentralised hard money is where it's at, not a new corporate run money system based upon a stablecoin tethered to fiat. What's the point: When the shit hits the fan, smart money wants hard money. Vitalik's suggestion that Eth merge with Bitcoin Cash is not helping with clarity either.
But will this merger be just marketing related or will the blockchains be merged? Neither. My understanding is that running Ethereum on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain network is a short term bandaid to handle scaling to give more time to Vitalik and the team to come up with a true solution. If I understand that right (and that's a big if) then seems to me that this would dilute the brand at a very risky time and confuse an already cloudy space. I don't think it would be good for price, and since it is stated as a short term fix I don't think it would be good for the Ethereum network in general. There is also always the danger that this short term fix could become permanent, as they so often do and the long term scaling issue never truly goes away. The line held and now we fall as speculators are disappointed some and the needle swings to sell. Present low is 50 day moving average and a previous low recently, MA is momentum more then support I guess and so it needs better reasons to find this as an ongoing low which may or may not be there. Its lost the daily uptrend for most of 2019, overall I would guess its then more negative then it has been in its previous action despite many sells its generally gained but now needs to reformulate a trend having lost that particular one and failed the test to get back over the fence onto that highway  blue line is just 2 day momentum, the first point in any bullish aim MEMO ===> TIMBERRRR WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE |

Who are the respectful peeps who say negative things about decred? I hope you don't mean gemblitz  btw, it was never a pump and dump no matter what he says above. It's worth staking if you have the minimum amount. I stake on my own node but if you don't want to go through the trouble you have to research how to actually stake. This is not a typical staking coin. Besides bitcoin, this is the only other long-term hold position I have. Given the circumstances in the market, the performance is actually not that disappointing pump and dump by PAID PROMOTERS is one thing... this doxxing and phishing scam via DECRED & BITTREX is another more sinister plot whereas your info gets sold to darkweb. :\ hopefully the SEC does some consumer protection Americans should not be subjected to these kind of online phishing attempts. |
