961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Airdrop? on: August 30, 2017, 01:54:32 PM
Thank you for all the reply, I get it now. Will try to join some airdrop asap
I would say it would be somehow hard to join directly since as far as i know those airdrops do require a specific forum rank which im sure newbies wont really allow but depending on the airdrop and to their rules. Im not too familiar with but i did see some airdrops on how they works. Its like really just a giveaway into their coins which do have an specific task for you to be qualified.

No it's not very hard to join them if you can pass to their requirements then your all good to have their airdrops  but you should follow the rules so that you can pass to their criteria and able to receive the deserving award for yourself. maybe you should try to seek an idea with deeponion and masternodecoin since they where the best coin giving a nice airdrop today.
I agree, deepionion and masternodecoin is two of most good airdrop did happen on this year which their prices rise up on a short period of time after the distribution. This is why airdrops are gems when it comes to claim free coins. They are really not hard to comply as long you do follow the instructions but there are really some airdrops do require forum ranks not just accepting new accounts or newbie members.
962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: August 30, 2017, 01:31:08 PM
just got to put your emotion aside, a lot of new people buy high sell low
Yes! Many others are victims of these losses. There is nothing to take on heart rather they should treat these mistakes as lessons. Trading is not for everyone and if you are not good at trading don’t be sad. I am myself not doing great with trading, so I shifted to long term holding of bitcoins for making great profits.
Indeed, we should treat those losses as lessons so we can have a better outcome in trading because if we are going to take some lessons from our mistakes then it will become a good step for getting success because only mistakes can make us better and mistake is a sign that we are really trying to become the best and if you are not good in trading then don't give up and keep on trying.
But if you do try to look at on op's situation its 2 years time and i would say its just enough to make such decision and im sure you do already learn on those years that you are trading. This is why its not really bad to quit if you saw that its not really effective no matter what would you do and learn. There are really things which isnt really for us.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DeepOnion 5$ this end or its only start? on: August 30, 2017, 11:58:20 AM
One of the most promising and rapidly growing cryptocurrency DeepOnion shows tremendous growth. Very fast growing community and great developers. Airdrop, a lot of good for the community developers are doing. And the product itself is good on the basis of anonymity that will gain momentum in the future.

Does anyone have any idea what will develop this project, what are the prospects in terms of product and price. Your opinion?
Im little bit shocked into this coin which it had rose up its price for a short period of time and as far as i remember this is one of those coins who did give airdrops and im regretting now that i did just neglect or reject those time and lucky for those people who did gain some free deeponion coins. price might reach on $5 but cant be sure if this would be the peak or the new floor. Seeing on the road map i can say that this had potential and have a strong backing up.
964  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Really A Good Money on: August 30, 2017, 07:24:32 AM
There are another fews problems with Bitcoin. You might want to include them in here. First of all, Bitcoin’s price is pretty volatile. Just to give you a sense of its volatility, just look at the price chart of Bitcoin a few days ago. Bitcoin price dropped almost 300$USD in the space of 2 hours! That is amazingly bad. Such a characteristic makes Bitcoin a terrible currency. The second characteristic is the freaking high transaction fee. I payed freaking 0.00115742 to transact 0.00396661BTC to another account! Far out! Fiat fees are like a few cents. And here I am paying $6! So as you can see, Bitcoin is not a very good currency at all. The only good thing about it is its decentralised platform and peer to peer network. I still have hope that transaction fees will decrease.

Transactions fee will decrease as infra become more and more developed. Competition between different exchanges and wallets, financed on ICOs and with other venture capital should push fees down. The other point is what to do with the speed of transactions.
Indeed! The transaction fees are not that big problem. With passage of time, they will decrease making all us happier. Speed of transactions is okay for me but I have come across certain threads where people have problem with the speed like it took them even two days sometimes to make a transaction. If this is the case, strict action should be taken soon.
Delayed transactions do really have the reasons why they do wait for those longer periods of time on which they possibly put small tx fee or the network is congested together on the time that they make transfers. This is the only flaws that i can see on bitcoin as of now. Its anonymity features would really give some negative impressions but wont matter since most people are using it on positive side.
965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: August 30, 2017, 07:04:16 AM
It's a natural thing mate and i think everyone get panic while having a tough time in trading. I panic sometimes during the trading of altcoins and yes i sometimes regret later that why i did it. I am quite comfortable and relax while trading bitcoins, when the price of bitcoin falls instead of getting panic i wait for the price to rise again while holding them.
Panic is very difficult to remove from the attitude of many people. Maybe panic is a thing that every traders must have experienced. To avoid panic I usually always think quietly and maybe I will sleep when the situation I can not control. This will not make me able to make the right decision. Better avoid panic and then start over when the time is right.
yes that is right, in fact it is in nature of the people. i think it is different from person to person. some people who do not have more experience in trading they get panic very soon as compare to those people who have send good time in trading. in fact some people also remain week as naturally and even after passing time in their file they still remain as week.
the most important thing to avoid panic when going to trading is to take a closer look at every step of the trading and the end result. because, not just beginners who often experience panic at the time of trading, but also old players sometimes often experience panic when unexpected results come. panic can just come to the live how we control panic in various situations.
You are right, panic isnt really only for those newbie traders but also to old once, there no exception on this kind of feeling because there are really instances on which we do really suffer loses and would really be on doubt or confusion on how we did lose. Realizations and self study on your own trade executions would really help you out on which part you did make a mistake and later on you would apply it into your next trade set-ups.

967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HAVE you tried daily trading using SMA on: August 29, 2017, 05:45:42 PM
I am sharing a one strategy for stress free day trading

Chart Timframe
1.   1min candlestick charts

Indicators
2.   Simple Moving Avarage 100
3.   Simple Moving Avarage 200

Entry/Exit
•   Buy BTC - when BTC price is above SMA100, and SMA100 is above SMA200
•    Exit BTC and hold fiat  - when BTC price is below SMA100 and half way to SMA200
Check a photo of entry exit here> https://www.yogile.com/e0ltxqb5#21t

I request all of you to try and share your results regardless positive or negative, here is why
•   Traders will be motivated when they see your positive results
•   Traders will stay away if they see your negative results
You may try this strategy on old charts, Good luck!

Disclaimer : USE OF THIS THREAD/SUGGESTIONS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS!

I have tried this together using with stochastic and rsi which it is really good for active trading but most of the times these technical analysis wont really work noticing the volatility of cryptocurrency which is more  than on forex and knowing the market is really unpredictable on which we would really be confused on where do prices go.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 29, 2017, 04:23:00 PM

When I get a big profit, this is very fun and loves that coin,
but when we are not in a good position, this is very annoying.
I think everyone is experiencing the same thing as what I experienced.
You would really got frustrated since we do lose money and its normal for a person to feel such thing.I know this feeling have been experienced on every trader.Newbie or an experienced one. We do love to see while we are gaining money and we would really hate when we lose up. It do normally works on the same way and we do really feel this emotions along the way.
969  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 29, 2017, 03:47:12 PM
When your bitcoin income consistently pays your bills and leaves you enough to save - then quit your job and focus even more on bitcoin.
This would be a good indications for you to go full time with bitcoin specially when you found out that your day stable job cant able to give you the sufficient amount on your daily living and bitcoin do provides it then it would be a wise thing to do to go full time with it but remember always the risk that bitcoin isnt permanent and can anytime would be lost.We should not rely for it too much.
970  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: August 29, 2017, 03:07:06 PM
Hello all !
I'm new trade alt. I have a question here and I need your help.
BTC prices are rising strongly, we can invest at this time with co-BTC ? or you can tell me what altcoin should invest ?
Thanks All Trader  Cry

Btc price had pump and breaking the resistance level of $4500 and it seems it would already go to the target of 5000 price on upcoming weeks or months if the movement would still continue like this.Have you seen on most alts in the market? Most of them are on reds now and i would say its the best time to buy cheap alts because they do usually dump when bitcoins price tends to go up.

972  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: August 29, 2017, 02:04:58 PM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.
If I'm not mistaken, there are faucets that will give free Bitcoin. You may also join campaigns but the reward won't be easily to get and won't be in an instant. There are campaigns that will take a month to end, and its token to be distributed. Tokens that can be converted to Bitcoin. You may also try altcoin trading, it's a bit risky but the income is big.
I don’t really know what to do when I’m in desperate need of money or maybe hungry. What I mostly do is go to sleep or find something fun to keep myself busy and make my body forget it’s hungry. Sometimes I stay calm, believing God for a miracle. But when I see it’s getting out of hand, I look for someone to beg for money.
That’s sad! Emm, don’t you have family? You really made me blue. I hope people do help you when you are hungry. I don’t where you live and what you exactly do, but since you are on this forum it means you are literate. Why don’t you try working for signature campaigns? They will pay you in bitcoins which you can cash out and feed yourself.
Might be true or not if hes really have difficulty on eating on a single day or dont have money and as you said hes literate since he do engage on bitcoin and im sure he do find a way out on earning bitcoin since it is money then im sure he would able to generate income on this forum. There are things which we would sometimes need of money and we would able to do things that we didnt expect for us to do.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves in December! on: August 28, 2017, 04:46:49 PM
I hear some news about waves.
In December waves will 10x or more from now.

Is it true news?
need a suggestion..
Advance thanks

There are so many news you can heard as well as read everywhere. The sources vary from reliable to utter useless. I hope you have mentioned your source for this news so that we can at least make our own assessment as to whether this is a good news or another news without solid basis that we cannot really be happy about.
This is the thing i was supposed to say on which i would like to see the link regarding on the source of such news since if we can able to assume that the price of waves on this december would be like that. You are right there are lots of fuds or fake news and just pure speculation of people and its not really surprising anymore. Truth or not we wont really know on when those coins would pumped out.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: August 28, 2017, 04:15:44 PM
You can pay with Bitcoin in several stores and even restaurants here in Germany. Are we the only one who have this?  Huh
No, there are places that do have also this thing too. Have you heard about Japan? They do already legalize bitcoin and im sure not only stores and restaurants do being accepted there but for sure there are lots of establishments and services which do accepts bitcoin considering that they are already legalizing it to their country. In my place its sad since these things arent still yet on here but hoping someday there would be stores accepting bitcoin.
975  Economy / Economics / Re: How many can resist selling off their BTC for huge profits? on: August 28, 2017, 03:52:52 PM
What percent of people do you think are able to resist selling their BTC when confronted with huge profits they've obtained.  Say 500% or more even?

The case differs from person-to-person. While some are day traders and are happy with 10-20% profits. All they want is quick returns. Whereas some are periodic investors and keep Bitcoins for 5-6 months, they aim at 2x the invested amount. Next class is the class of holders popularly known as HODLERS. They are the one aiming at moon, I know some people hodling their BTC from 2013-14 and already made 1000% profits.
The last ultimate class is believers. These people never intend to sell owned Bitcoins.
So you can't categories all traders in single fragment, there is much diversification.
This is true because this thing would really be base depending on what kind of investor you are or trader you are because some would really sell out their coins on a specific price point which they are not longing for more years to come as long they saw they are gaining then sell off and buyback again on dips which is also a good way on earning bitcoin even more, sounds simple but its a hard thing to do for sure and this is why there are some who tends or decide to hold for long term.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cloud Mining Thoughts on: August 28, 2017, 02:53:28 PM
Guys,

Would be good to get your opinion on cloud mining contracts from Genesis or Hashflare. Has anyone got any good/bad experiences with them? Are they profitable?

You can get  10,000.0 GH/s Hash Rate for $1200, apparently gives you a return of $60 a week.... Seems like a good investment no? (Worth noting you can invest just 12$ if you wanted a lower hash rate)

~Lucas

I have tried mining myself, cloud mining and bitconnect and buying the coins and holding over the past 12 months
bad to good in this order
cloud mining is not that profitable unless you can get a few hundred refferals dont bother
also Genesis is in a crisis at the monent and people havent been paid for over 2 weeks
stay clear you have been warned
Genesis is a real company and have real mining facility  in Iceland but they are really a referrals ponzi mlm type of company
that sells its hashing power to make to bigger profits for uneducated bitcoiners who fall for it and a smart miner would mine
on there own at home
Bitconnect looks better profit that cloud mining but dont gamble what you cant afford to lose and of lately they have been
losing money over a website glitch so wait till they sort this out
home gpu mining has been good for me and i have all of my ROI back after 5 months
buying bitcoins at £1850 and now its £3300 has also been a winner for me
so to some it up cloud mining is notprofitable unless you can get lots of referrals
creating a youtube channel like Trevon James and Craig grant and talking bullshit every day has worked for them
to generate referrals off stupid people  they brain wash
home mining is much better for me i can make £1500 a month without a risk on a ponzi scam website closing down
I made my money buying 10 houses and renting them out over the last 20 years
I can only tell you my experiences and you can do what ever you want it doesnt matter to me chaps

thx
steve

Thanks Steve, good post. I've made quite a lot on just investing in altcoins so I have put a small amount in Hashflare just to see what its like, it's definitely one of those which will take a while to start turning a profit. But I'm happy to wait.

I'm debating getting some mining equipment, what would you recommend? How easy is it to set it up?
Well its your choice on seeing on your profits to earned on hashflare and i would say it would really takes time for  you to reach roi. Its good that you put lots of investment on altcoin and i hope you would succeed on that one and if you are really serious on putting money on cloud mining sites then it would be fine but if i were you i do have the money then better to go in self mining since you would able to operate physically and seeing on your own mining rigs operating. I recommend antminer s9, setting it up? Its hard to explain since its technical.
977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: August 28, 2017, 01:13:10 PM
Hello, as we all know that Bitcoin is heading straight to the moon. Me, as an employee, do also invest with this cryptocurrency, and I kinda need to divide all of my salary for my needs, and on how much should I invest in? Let's talk about percentage. Anyone?

I remember when I was an employee in the government, my expenses was higher than my salary. So, every time my salary comes it was so hard to budget my money. Consequently, I do cut loss my prime commodities to manage it properly.
Management is truly a key for someone to earn more and to have a bigger profit. Because as said the expenses and the income much have a corresponding value depending on the rate increased or changes depending on Bitcoin price or the trading in the market. It somehow can predict the success of a specific investment and could be a good thing to know specifically when you are going to set to invest in bitcoin trading as part of your way of earning Bitcoin.
Proper money management and together with a proper time management would really be the main thing should be focused on and speaking on allocating a percentage of your salary on bitcoin investment would really depend on how much money you do left after spending or dividing it already on your priorities because we cant really make calculation if we dont know on how much money we do have left and if you saw that it needs to cut some expenses then you should do it.
978  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [request] Bitcoin mining game on: August 27, 2017, 03:18:00 PM
Does anyone know what happened with this Bitcoin mining game?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQKTN08_RIE

It was a load of fun and it was bug free.... I played it for hours and it was very addictive. If it is down, I would suggest that

someone try and do the same. This game had a lot of potential, but it was not marketed very well.  Roll Eyes
Seeing on the youtube link its being published on Nov 14,2014 which is quiet old but i guess the price of bitcoin on those years isnt too high and as i observed on the game and i do really try to understand that this game is just basically a mining game not literally on having asic miners but a game which you would need to mine to and exchange to satoshis.
979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My story so far on: August 27, 2017, 02:53:59 PM
What I am doing now is trade my BTC with the current pumping coins. Now the current pumping ones are XMR , DASH and LSK (you mentioned it as shitcoin). I just ride my BTC there and waiting for the next moon. Rinse and repeat.
I think day trading is kinda fun when you already knew when or what price would you ride, and as you have said rinse and repeat. Before though I am also a day trader, or some may say it as a swing trader, or some would prefer to say its just hit and run style, but for me, I am aiming for profits, this sounds funny because its like a game, but lesser risk than gambling and still too risky.
I would rather do on making short or active trades than on playing gambling because on trading you can somehow assume that you can able to make money on the thing you are doing. Active trades is somehow risky compared on holding but you would really enjoy it for sure if you know already the fundamentals and basics on doing it but it wont really be an easy thing to be learned because it would takes time for you to learn those things.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchange do you use? on: August 27, 2017, 02:05:55 PM
YoBit, Bittrex are the options I see everyone using.
But NovaExchange is also mentioned in some threads so I'm unsure as of to which is better
Always go for reputable sites like bittrex and poloniex but there are some exchanges which is good and not too populated like on c-cex,liqui,etherdelta which i do make trades for sometimes because when i trade on poloniex i feel the delay regarding on making transfers which i do decide to try out another exchange.
