Don't get me wrong here. I like crysptsy. I want cryptsy to be around for a long time as well. I hope I go back to trading on cryptsy as well as other exchanges in the future (I was using cryptsy exclusively), but today, as things stand, there are 'easier' less frustrating places to trade.

Maybe coinedup will experience exactly the same thing when their volume increases... maybe if cryptsy wasn't so popular and people used other exchanges as well then things might balance out a bit... maybe...

But, as I stated, today as things stand, there are easier less frustrating places to trade.

984  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Time to boycott coinmarketcap.com on: December 28, 2013, 11:15:38 AM
There's a market out there for someone to build a coinmarketcap clone that only lists decentralized/mined cryptos. They'll get an automatic audience.

I'd do it, but I don't have those skills.
 Grin

And then people will argue that it should only list some coins because the others are clones. And then only scrypt ones , and then only coins with an animal logo.
The ranting will never stop.

LOL. I hear ya! Cheesy

I find that the security of crypsty is superior over coinedup. There is no 2 factor authenticator..
I agree, but very few people have had their accounts hacked on any of these sites. Most attacks are against the site itself, not the individual account.

You all can kiss coindUp ass, its working quite well.. AND CRYPTSY (or shitsy) dont!
That scam with doggy coin when it araved at cryptsy an somebody depositet 20DOGGY, HAY not milion only 20, and thousand of us waited 5 hours to deposit coin  ( on coindUp takes maybe 2 min to deposit ANY TIME eaven in that time when Shitsy needed 5 hours)  that was the last drop..
CRYPTSY GO F YOURSELF, riged excange, they deliberately riged excange of doggy (price 0.1 btc for 1 doggy BUHAHHAHAH ) just to forse us to goo all in on cryptsy.. motherfuckers, and some their insaider ofcourse gone in first and took all!
This is true storry, who dont beleve me, he can F himself, and i would advice him to get out of BigVern's Ass
There's no need for such strong language though!

I don't think there's any scams going on. The issues with login was the last straw. They changed captcha app 3 times in as many days. I'm used to the delays but that one did it for me. It reminded me of when I used to update my websites to test new features. That's fine for my little website but not for a global trading exchange. It just felt too amateurish. It's all sorted now but the damage was done.

With CoinedUp I log straight in using google OpenID, no issues! My deposits came in, I traded, I cashed out. With Cryptsy you have to think 2 days in advance. That's where the frustration comes in. I don't want to have huge deposits in ANY online service. Cryptsy trading demands that you have balances with them as you can't rely on anything other than what's in their balances when the market moves.

I know I won't be missed. I'm a nobody. But at least I'm happier now (so far - when there's issues with CoinedUp I'm sure I'll be back for another moan!)

I've just about had enough of cryptsy. The lags and delays and constant issues are a joke. I'm just tired of being p****d off.

I like cryptsy, I like the interface and I think it could do well as a trading tool rather than an exchange.

I used CoinedUp yesterday for a few trades. Deposits came in on time, confirmed on time. Trades went through in a timely fashion, then I withdrew my bounty back to my wallet. It took ~1 hour. On Cryptsy I would have to budget about 1-2 days to complete that set of work (anything under 24 hours is a bonus on cryptsy).

I love you cryptsy, but I'm gone. Give me a call when you've got your act together.

Probably the same as what the 2 posts above this one just said!

JUST FOR THE RECORD: I think all these things are useless scams and I have no relation to them whatsoever.
Your signature says otherwise - altchain.org

excuse me?

and who are you exactly?  perhaps you'd like to explain why you believe altchain.org is a scam.
You are claiming you have no relation to any of them. That's not quite true, is it? btw I'm a nobody watching a nobody have a rant without thinking of what he's stating.

you didn't answer my question.
I think I did. Please check your original post and question, work your way down, and see if I answered the original question. You're so busy ranting you're not even reading your own thread properly!

I'll write it out again because clearly you have the intellect and integrity of a goldfish.

perhaps you'd like to explain why you believe altchain.org is a scam.
I never said that altchain.org is a scam!!!! You are NOT READING YOUR OWN THREAD AS I SAID. You stated that you have NOTHING TO DO WITH THESE THINGS!!!

So what on earth is ALTCHAIN.ORG??? Is it not Open Source Peer-To-Peer Cryptofinance Infrastructure???

I thought you had nothing to do with all of these stupid altcoins???

There's something very very typical about you. Very preachy and self-righteous, but still chasing the almighty dollar.

not a single one of you answered my question.

instead you offered up some trite anecdote about 'never using an online wallet'.  Fact is, people use web wallets and will continue to.

Who is responsible for this?

Quote
Can anyone even name a single person behind Dogecoin?

I named two.  Jackson Palmer and Billy Markus. If the prize is doge then don't bother thanks.
And I posted an interview with both of them.

Who's not answering the questions here, eh??

Exactly - don't use third party wallets. I have no faith in them.

Here's the creators of dogecoin

http://spelunk.in/2013/12/17/discover-dogecoin-currency-for-the-internet/

I heard they're working to give everyone their doges back

Kittehcoin has stolen the march on you. There are already kittehcoin millionaires selling their coinz.

Ridiculous how everyone pumps doge today. Yesterday and over Sunday was DUMP phase so everybody presented studies why doge has no future... Holding only few doges and thinking what will happen after peaking the doge value... Obviously dump and "crash, doge useless, sell this shit until its hot, scamcoin"...
The data speaks for itself:

I say again, it will be interesting to see 'CLIENT DOWNLOAD COUNTS' for all altcoins. I betcha dogecoin client downloads will make a lot of people on this forum very jealous, and also very angry!
