981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: August 16, 2018, 04:17:51 PM
Its too serious to say that the entire altcoin market would not survive

Look at the market, there are actually coins that has utilities compare to Bitcoin
But i would agree on the point that people say 90% will fail and only 10% succeed, this is how the technology sector works
Rapid and getting replace once outdated
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying at the dip on: August 16, 2018, 04:15:52 PM
I want to buy some altcoins due this big dip and strenght my long term position with several coins...

I'm going to strength my position in:

-NEO
-TRX
-EOS

and, perhaps in ETH

What do you think... is there any other altcoin that could be the next surprise after this present dip?

Buying into community favorite coins is always good, not all community but majority of the "investors"
These are the coins that most "people" know
They posses some sort of value imo

So its good to add these into your portfolio
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream currencies all rose, ETC, XRP led the rise on: August 15, 2018, 02:56:37 AM
Well, market plummets, recover a bit, continue drops and so

Guess the trend reverse might take a little bit more in this case
ETF's approval, could push every shit up xd
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin back to $500 is likeley on: August 15, 2018, 02:18:24 AM
That is way too insane if it back to $500

Even $5,000 mark is kinda a strong support level at least for me, going beyond $5,000 would just direct us to $3k,2k hmmm

986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bull run of BTC start soon? on: August 02, 2018, 05:56:57 AM
Soon to be

IMO, once the bear market ended it will start the cycle of bullish push xd
987  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: August 01, 2018, 04:04:07 PM
Nothing is stupid, regardless if you sell at profit or loss, you still gain something
which is the experience of exploring how blockchain works

From sending, tracing, receiving with the help of Blockchain
Although you might sell at loss, at least next time you would know when to buy or sell
988  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction in upcoming 3 Month? on: August 01, 2018, 01:38:16 PM
I would call it a reversal trend in the upcoming 3 month
End of year is always crucial at least for me and most market perform well in the last quarter which i believe one of the reason is because people are not that "Serious" unlike they are in the start of a year
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How helpful Bitcoin in future? on: August 01, 2018, 09:37:38 AM
Hey everyone i want to know about how helpful bitcoin in future? Give the real life example! As you know in many country bitcoin is not legal,so behalf of that give your opinions?

Well, Bitcoin are likely to be use as a choice of deflation instrument than real life usage IMO
However, scaling technique like LN could make it faster because bitcoin transaction speed is just awful at least for me

Right now, the only country that i know which put huge pressure on Crypto is China for now, not sure about others
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: July 31, 2018, 01:05:50 PM
Of course

Crypto are meant to be exist, at least for me
It is a great revolution towards the Financial and Tech which is what we call Fin-tech

Bounties are becoming more and more common unlike how people do their IPO, which people don't get paid even they promote IPO lel
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does crypto mean to you on: July 30, 2018, 11:01:12 AM
A next revolution in terms of currency and an enhancement and benefit towards the financial industry
Look at the way of how we transact money right now, Telegraphic transfer or remittance takes too long, or have a higher fees because of the 3rd party involved

Correspondent bank are making the conversion and earning money of it, which increase the price or fee to transfer of money to another country
Crypto is worldwide, no correspondent, no central bank. Just me and you, we agree, payment is made and received
992  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin May Soon Be Worth Nothing on: July 30, 2018, 10:59:17 AM
These article will always be there and people would always call or name Crypto as "Another type of MLM schemes" because whenever people stop buying, it price wouldn't move
Well, for me Bitcoin is more of something like an Artwork type of investment

It does not have a fix value, unlike products which people can set hey lets sell this for $5 and people buy for $5
Crypto are not the same, it will only have value when people think it have value, that's the main point of why Bitcoin can be worth few thousand or even 20 thousand
993  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will this bull run be? on: July 30, 2018, 10:44:58 AM
It seems likely that this recent third bottom of 2018 was the final bottoming out. Don't think price is gonna start going crazy or anything now, though it might go crazy until the ETF verdict, but generally I think we're right at the start of a new bull market.

The last bull market lasted about 2.5 years from mid-2015 to end of 2017. How long do you think this one will be?

I could see it lasting until late 2019 or maybe even late 2020 past the next halving. I think we'll see or get close to $100k on the peak of the next bull run in less than 30 months. I think institutional investors and traditional retail investors (like through ETFs) will drive this bull run, with of course another round of serious FOMO from the public eventually just like late last year.

Now is the time to get in if you're smart money, whether hodling or trading.

The bearish run has been lasted for almost 7 month since the head of 2018 or the end of 2017
If Crypto market are suppose to be a good investment picks for the upcoming investment trend

The bull run will last longer this time IMO
and we could perhaps break the previous ATH of $20,000 and seeing amount like $25,000 - $30,000
994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you sell all your coins in Bull market? on: July 29, 2018, 09:20:19 AM
Many people are waiting for the market recovery to sell their coins but I bet you,as soon as market recovers ,they will feel reluctant to sell.

exactly lol
even trading for almost 2 year, sometimes the emotional of greed is still in me
Reluctant to sell always exist at least for me

Hence, i would always tell myself at least sell the portion which i've invested, get back the extra and keep the remaining to proceed a higher profit
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcore Is 40X Faster Than Bitcoin, Yet 4000X Cheaper? on: July 29, 2018, 09:10:35 AM
Stainless Steel has about 4x higher tensile strength than Gold but gold is about 30x more expensive than AISI 430 stainless steel for instance. that doesn't make gold better than SS when it comes to using it in a corrosive environment!

when it comes to a cryptocurrency, the settings that bitcoin has are not just some random numbers set there to have some sort of attribute for no reason. there is a lot of reasons most of them security related.
for instance having a 4x faster (10 min / 2.5 min is 4x  not 40x by the way) blocks means having that much more orphaned blocks. and orphaned blocks means 1 confirmation in BTX is 10000 times less secure than 1 confirmation in BTC because 1 conf. in bitcoin means 99.99% chance that it is final but not BTX.
not to mention that the money loss for miners is that much higher.
also the size of the blockchain will grow 4 times faster in other words bitcoin blockchain size after 9 years is about 144 GB and BTX in 4 years could have 576 GB which is huge. not to mention that the block size of BTX is 10 MB which means the total final blockchain size if BTX was around 9 years ago would have been nearly 6 TB. would you buy a 6  TB hard disk just to run a BTX full node? the answer is no and the result is centralization.

this is why it is 40000x cheaper. and this is why other altcoins are also cheaper,... and coins like BCH, ETH... won't live in the long run.

now the misleading part for you is that you look at the max block size but the reality is that coins like BCH, BTX,... don't practically have that much size. what they have is 400 byte to 1000 byte blocks while bitcoin continues having 1200000-1600000 bytes blocks

Waoh never thought of this
also the size of the blockchain will grow 4 times faster in other words bitcoin blockchain size after 9 years is about 144 GB and BTX in 4 years could have 576 GB which is huge.

Kinda impress with your sharing

But why would ETH not last long in your case? I assumed ETH is kinda a good Bitcoin alternatives to replace it if we doesn't have coins like NEO, Waves, EOS
996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 60,000$ by the end of 2018? on: July 29, 2018, 09:07:13 AM
Julien Hosp, the co-founder and president of TenX, believes that the price of Bitcoin will possibly reach 60,000$ by the end of this year.

By being an investor for over a year, I have observed the pricing circle of BTC.

Last year, the price evolution started strongly from 12 August 2017 from ~ 2000$ and reached 20,000$ by the end of the year.

Will the history come back again this year?

My prediction is yes. How's about you?

Hmmm no for me, although chance is there but its quite slightly minimal
If Btc could reach even $30,000 in 2018, its showing a huge upward movement judging the flow of money into the crypto market is kinda slow now

But who knows? Market is just small there
997  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC holding it's own trend? on: July 29, 2018, 09:04:03 AM
Watching the markets closely and I find it interesting that while BTC has been trending up slightly over the past week, the majority of other alts are down or just wavering...could this be why BTC is trending up? Everyone is focusing on that? I thought it was interesting as normally we see everything move in tandem together but this time I'm not sure whether to invest in any alts given they seem to be going their own way...

Well if a market is going to turn bullish, the blue chip would always be the first one to run
Looking at the Bitcoin dominance over the whole market, it had increase over the past few days and we are at 47% now

It will always be BTC Up > Push the wave > Alts up
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: July 29, 2018, 09:02:43 AM
Well you are not alone

My advice is always look at the market, timed your trade and plan well ahead
For example
I am not necessary to survive with the money i put in crypto, i can survive without it

I believe that it could grow furthermore in the future, i would just HODL it in my case
999  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy more? wait till 6000 or 5500? on: July 29, 2018, 09:01:34 AM
Technical data hints that it can go down to 6000 or 5500 level.
What do you think?

A $6,000 level is kinda a strong support level for me
Although market has pushed to $8,000 level right now

But whenever we goes around $5,500+- it always lasted for less than a week and pump back up to $6,000
I assume $6,000 should be a great level

Dollar cost average can be apply here for better investment alternatives
1000  Economy / Speculation / Re: ✈️✈️✈️ Will bitcoin recover? ✈️✈️✈️ on: July 29, 2018, 08:54:23 AM
Definitely, look at the movement recently
Although the bullish run has paused awhile, but we still hold on some good support level which is around the $8k these few day
