Could you make an avatar?
I would like a transparent background avatar with a bowl hat and toothbrush mustache (a.k.a Hitler mustache).
Thank you.
Sorry for the late reply >.< I will try my best to do that, but it will take me some time, worst case one week. Need some time to figure out how to draw on transparent backgrounds too!

Mate thanks for the cute avatar you make for me. It is really cute Smiley Will used it in some of my local forum that I regulary visiting and even here in bitcointalk. Thanks again.
No problem, just glad you enjoyed it! Cheesy Will be figuring out how to use some software to help me create avatars easier Tongue
982  Other / Meta / Re: Spams and Scams on: July 19, 2015, 12:22:51 PM
Scams shouldn't be removed at all, there's too much room for abuse and mistakes. Mistakes do happen and someone with a legit business could have a few false accusations against them with fabricated evidence which looks to be solid at first glance, if it was removed and later found out the evidence was false, then the moderators would get that in the neck.

OP you're not exaggerating with 100 accounts, I'm pretty sure that some have near that number. I think that email verification could help slow down this process, i.e. account is unusable until you verify. This would only slow it down a bit, but it's better than nothing right?

Spam is dealt with pretty quickly as long as you report it.
Some would complain even if they "verified" scam was removed. It is just not worth it.

If I was the admin , I would personally not allow Newbie accounts to post on the Marketplace which should prevent a make scamming lower .

It would also give a false sense of security which IMHO is even worse than a false positive. If a service is not removed by the mods and mods remove scams, some might draw the conclusion that said service is not a scam, instead of doing their due diligence first.

Snipped. After reading all this, ok, I agree that there is just a wide a range to remove all these scams (including services), let alone preventing further complications and misconceptions from happening. I guess it is up the the forum users themselves to analyse all the ponzis and sites themselves, and let them learn from their mistakes. But still, there are scammers out there who feed on these 'mistakes', and there should be something to stop them.

I think restricting newbies to only be able to post in a few sections is quite a nice idea, so that only users with more posts and experience take part in the forum, causing less harm, since they are risking a more 'valued' account, in view of them. But again, they may easily buy an account, which might be 'farmed', which once again leads it back to the main reason, account spam creation. 100 accounts is alot, way too much. Email verification should definitely be used, I dont see why they should not do it. Too much stuff going on, too many problems. Ultimately, they are unable to be solved, since users might see this forum as an earning opportunity.
983  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: innovative games with bitcoin currency on: July 19, 2015, 11:37:27 AM
I would like to help too, but in terms of technical skills, I have none Sad I can provide you with ideas and feedback, and help you as much as I can along the way. Firstly, start small. Dont dream too big just yet. Start from a free game, let users try it, and dont let greed engulf you in the first day. Dont let earning bitcoins/money be your ultimate goal. Make the creation of the game be that goal instead.

Maybe you can even make a free game that is free for all, just some in game premium currency thingy that gives no advantage to them, just like receiving tips. Good Luck on this! Cheesy
984  Other / Meta / Spams and Scams on: July 19, 2015, 11:32:49 AM
Not sure if this is the right board to post in. Just some questions I had in mind.

Spam can mean a few different things here, but I am referring it more specifically to the spam creation of accounts. I see many newbie accounts, posting only a few words, especially in the Off Topic Board and Investors Based Games. For all you know, a person could have created 100 over accounts (maybe I exaggerating a bit), and use them to either sell it in the future, or to use it as 'proof'.

Many posts in the Investors Based Games section always have newbies that posts there. Not saying every newbie there is an alt, but they might be created just to bump the post, or fake evidence, to lure others to invest as well, by using their 'personal experience' which can be forged. I think there should be a restriction to the creation of forum accounts, but it can be difficult.

I not sure about the current settings, but does it require an email to sign up? If not, then it should. If yes, then... its email spamming abuse out there. This might not be possible, and against the privacy of the forum users, but maybe the forum mods should use their ip address to spot out a few alts, and prevent them. In my opinion, users should not be able to create multiple accounts, but just to stick to their own account forever. I'll move on to scams now.

Scams are inevitable, I know, but obvious scams should be removed, I think. There is no reason that I should be allowed to live on and scam more victims, right? Despite the warnings and the trust systems, I still think that there might be people who are willing to give it a shot. The person who gave it a chance is not the main point. The main point is that if the scam owner receives more of this, it will tempt him to create more of this ponzis.

Prevention is better than cure, these should be stopped. Both scam and spam. Just another question again, what happens to the scammers? Do they get hunted down and brought to justice? Or they just slip back into the wild with red all over? They should be banned, to prevent such forum abuse.

Not writing my full opinion here, cos no one would read this large chunks or words. Want to see what you users here think too. Tongue
985  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 10k sats challenge on: July 19, 2015, 05:30:14 AM
I tried this, and got 0.00010925 BTC, even though the second faucet is not paying, ifaucet. The rewards as shown on your list are not 100% accurate, for the second last faucet faucetbitcoin.info, it pays at least 2900 satoshis every 440 minutes. I think you should update that as well.

But as you said '(You can skip the first one)', if I skipped the first then it will be 0.00009825 BTC Tongue Nice faucet list you have there, but it is too simple and I dont think anyone would return to your list, and furget about these faucets.

988  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] SumberCoin | BTC-DOGE | BTC Rotator | DOGE Rotator | Faucet List! Update on: July 18, 2015, 01:06:47 PM
The above link given for your rotator is wrong, you added an extra http:// Tongue

I preferred the faucet site design you had last time, now the header is a little small, and the images does not work properly, the font also a little small. The rewards are a little low now, try to make it more stable Smiley The design is a little plain, more images would be better as well. The bottom bar and top bar ought to be bigger and clearer.

Just a question, does your faucet rely on the ads there? It seems you wont earn alot from it, since there are only a few type of ad networks. Anyways, good luck, hope to see raised rewards like last time. Smiley
989  Economy / Services / Re: [Work] Free - Paid Services available! on: July 18, 2015, 09:48:52 AM
Working on the avatars now, sorry for the late works! Tongue Did a simple one for Hexcoin already, the rest should be done in just a bit.

It's ok mate . Look like I gave you trouble sorry Sad But mate remember , don't judge a book by its cover. For every avatar you finished , whatever the output , it will be nice and beautiful because you gave your time and effort making it. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Hehe, thanks! Would try my best! ^^

Can you make me a simple and cool avatar?
Do you still want this? PM me if you want this offer!

People who are giving away free/paid services too are welcome here, just give a short description on what you can do and it will be up at the list too! Smiley
990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Newbies (or Anyone) Enjoy Paid Bitcoin Tasks? on: July 18, 2015, 09:09:41 AM
For me it depends, and the first few factors I look at would be the paying rates, easy and wide range of tasks, and the minimum payout. I used to do these paid to do tasks sites, but in the end it gets more difficult to earn because of the low range of tasks, so I dont have much choices and methods to earn much, so once I reached the minimum payout I cashed out and never returned again. Tongue

If you are planning on doing one make sure people all around the world can do it, and not just restricted, but more open, or even let users create tasks for others to do. I would love paid to click, or watch videos tasks. Fast and easy. Smiley
991  Economy / Economics / Re: Greek crisis on: July 17, 2015, 07:56:40 AM
Yes, of course tourism would be greatly decreased. Assaulting is highly probable, but I must say that it is a beautiful country. When it restores back, I'm sure tourism will resume back to normal again, and maybe more people there would start using bitcoins, for all you know, to act as a backup.

Would you immediately withdraw all the money from the bank once it resumes? Just a question to ask and ponder about. The citizens there would be greatly affected too, mentally. Trusts might be gone, which is more difficult to built back again. Hope it comes back up again. Really difficult to govern a country without corruption. Tongue
992  Other / Meta / Negative Trusts (Suggestions) on: July 17, 2015, 07:38:51 AM
Hi all, I've been looking at some of the members' profiles and saw quite a few have negative trusts. Some of the reasons of the negative trusts are commonly because of loan without collateral, or because the member is a newbie with only a few posts, and advertising some shady websites or asking for bitcoins.

I think this negative trust rating system is a little too harsh, and a little abused at the same time too. Chances should be given, and not negative trusts when such things happens. Negative trusts should only be used when the member repeatedly annoys, or does the same things again despite being told not to do so. They should be given a warning first, and not get spammed by many other users giving the member negative trust rating for the same reason.

The negative trust rating system should also have a few options for the person giving the neg. trust, like some simple reasons why they do so. Some of the reasons there are now out there might be invalid, for all you know, and the member might have changed, so the neg. trust should not be valid anymore. Perhaps there could be a certain span for the neg. trust, depending on the situation. Otherwise, it would be unfair to those who got neg. trusts for not reading the threads carefully, and have a neg. trust rating with them for life.

There should be an option to 'second' the neg. trust, to prevent users from giving neg. trust to the same user for the same reason. This will prevent spam and make it clearer to everyone as well. The members who give neg. trusts also should not spam too, to make the forum better. I know this have a lot of flaws in it, but this is merely a suggestion. I sincerely hope this would be made possible, to give chances to all as well.
993  Economy / Services / Re: [Work] Free - Paid Services available! on: July 15, 2015, 01:16:59 PM
Nice! Free services. Smiley May I request for an avatar? Any chibi anime/cartoon character that holds BTC. Can't find some in google search. Thanks in advance.
Hahaha, that will be really difficult for me, just a look at my avatar and you'll know I'm not good at this, and even worse, I don't have a tablet with stylus for me to draw properly, so I'm using the laptop's touchpad, which is really bad. Tongue I'll try my best though, please wait about 2-3 days, and do you mind if I do it really simple? I'll probably find a simple cartoon character I like, or you can specify it if you like Smiley Not that good in photoshop, dont have the software and program too, so it'll just be 100% drawn.

Can you make me an Avatar?
I was thinking mostly of plain text. "Jambola2 is our overlord" or something like that. If you can think of something better, do it!
I want to start some sort of campaign where I make people wear it for satoshis.
I'll pay you 0.005 for it  Tongue
Sure, but as I said, it will be really simple, if you dont mind. So you just want a plain text for an avatar? That'll be quite weird, and a little waste, I would say. But if you want it, I'll try! Smiley I'll send you some samples if I've done it, and PM (both) for updates and progress.

As for the signature campaign, that wasn't my intended meaning, but if you have a unique campaign, I may consider it, since my current campaign is not paying out too Tongue Maybe you can PM me too if you really want to, for more information as well.

I'll try my best for both avatar, thanks! Don't get your hopes too high though! Cheesy
994  Economy / Services / Re: [Work] Free - Paid Services available! on: July 15, 2015, 12:35:53 PM
If anyone have skills, or want to work to be paid, or for free, you can PM me and I'll place it up here, with or without the price, with a short description! Cheesy

Im interested for signature campaign.

Can you PM price?

Thank you
Im only doing for the signature campaign google docs/spreadsheet editing, only costs about 10-20 bits, depending.

what you mean for posting here??
did you do any free posting service on any website or forum??

if yes, i like to give you some jobs  Grin

pliss pm incase if i miss or lost this thread... Cool
Yes, free posting services, if I am able to do it. If you have certain skill sets then I can put yours up here as well, and you can name a price! Smiley

Can you make me a simple and cool avatar?
Hi, sure, I can make you one Smiley What kind of color scheme do you want? Give me the desired color of the background you want it to be, or request a certain type of design, like mine. Smiley

Thanks!
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 14, 2015, 02:15:19 PM
hello scrypt.cc users.
i have 1608000 khs...
it has almost no value

who knows when scrypt.cc 100% working?

Its working, just that the value of KHs is really low. If you use the calculator there its only about 1 month ++ to ROI, so if you are willing to take further risks, just let the bitcoins roll in and gain a few profit from it, or even buy the KHs while its cheap, and hope that it'll return to 1000 satoshis / KHs one day.

Made me remember how last time a bought a few KHs at 40k satoshis Tongue Everything might turn out to be fine, but I've learnt my lesson, so I'll take some risks and keep it there till the price rises, then I'll sell all and withdraw it, save it up, or other safer investments.
996  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Say goodbye to cheap water? on: July 14, 2015, 02:08:28 PM
Yeah, I agree, but now technology are more advanced, so I guess water can still be easily retrieved from seawater through desalination or other methods, and I guess the real problem is the transport of water for countries that do not have such technologies, and unable to have their own water sources, at the same time a poor country, then yes, its a serious problem.

Oil will soon run out, and there must be a replacement, or a new way to create more oil if possible, but still, this wont happen any time sooner, so its still safe to relax a bit for now, ultimately, it all comes down to the country's economy.

1000  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 14, 2015, 09:54:14 AM
Actually by saving it you are also risking it in some way, as the price of bitcoin is very unstable and fluctuates quite a lot, so you'll never know when it drops or rises, and by that you are taking a risk.

Honestly using your own country's currency might be even more stable, but depends, but since bitcoin is universal, you can buy some bitcoins to invest as well. Do some work and investigation to check for safe and trustworthy investments, and investments will be worth it. Cheesy
