-snip-

Bitcoin will take a lot longer because it relies on people understanding how it is secured. People don't know/care how credit cards or banks are, because they're insured and it doesn't matter. Bitcoin is in a completely different boat.

Well at the moment from now 10year looks a bit to far, but yeah it's all about security and the new debit cards make bitcoin very useful.

I'm not sure if I posted it before, anyway

You are quoted Cool an address with a signed message would be more safe..
And a double quote to prove we are not the same person Wink would be fine too..
We may even come to triple quote soon Cheesy

You asked and here we go, a double quote for you as requested, and always is better to sign a message.

No. I dont think it will outright replace it in fact i dont think theres enough of it to completely replace it 21 million spead between everyone in the world never! unless 0.000001 was worth like a million dollars

No the devs can add more decimals if needed, so that is not a problem. Bitcoin can easily replace fiat, but its time has not come yet.

We need to wait 2-3 more years to see some results big!

It's not about decimals also the fiat mostly is traded in cents and not further. But bitcoin has a good future if nothing against bitcoin happens.

Fiat is always needing a much higher decimal bracket because its inflating.

Bitcoin is deflating so it needs more decimal places eventually. After 1 sat= 1 million $, i doubt you will pay 1 million $ for a bread.

It's hard to believe that 1 sat will be 1 million, you make me to save some satoshi Tongue, but yes it is needed to be more and more decimals but time by time or all in once ?

I think the 8 decimals are ok for the next 10 year, but after that we might need like 16 just to be sure.

Fiat will be worthless soon, so not even 100$ bills will be worth anything when 1 trillion $ bills will be printed.

I think you look so far, like 10 years from now. Like your opinion Smiley i think Fiat recovered itself by e-banking by buying online so the competition with bitcoin will need more and more decades.

990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: September 06, 2015, 07:04:09 PM
I would say strictly avoid the wapsites which says come and invest with me and I will pay you double after this week they will just run away with your funds..if you want to take a small percent oglf risk then trading is a good iption and don't go for the cloud minings..they are not much profitable

uco1 was a website about cloud mining and to withdraw money you had to invest in their site, and the minimum payout was hard to reach. And it become to scam since their website is not working !!!

Right
I lost 10000 satoshi there...

i have so far more lost than earned...
but generally it was little cash.

Hopefully i didn't invested a penny there, because the system platform was just suspicious and just wanted to see what will happen with that free bonus they gave but ended in scamming all.
991  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: September 06, 2015, 04:58:20 PM
I wish to buy a car lol, ordering it online and see next morning to my door lol, maybe it will be possible in next few years

It's possible in Bitpremier and some car stores that implemented Bitpay to their system. I don't know which country you are from but it's possible to buy a car in the US. There are a few cars in Goods section in this forum, too.

If that is true i will research now, didn't know that these kind of websites exists.

994  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do you still really use faucet? on: September 06, 2015, 04:03:44 PM

Ask people who use faucets how long does it take to earn 0.5 btc only by faucets, it can only happen if you win the lottery in freebitcoin

That wasn't really the point I was trying to make - my point was, my initial earnings seemed small (just like faucet earnings today). Several years later, however, the small earnings were worth considerably more. You're right, I doubt anyone these days is going to earn 0.5 BTC from faucets any time soon - but what they do earn may well grow in value more than they expect.

That said, my advice (if you believe today's faucet earnings will be worth considerably more in the future) is: buy BTC if you can. It's the quickest way, and when you factor in the cost of your time - it's probably cheaper, too.

I understand very well what you wanted to say, but nowadays it's hard to collect 0.5 btc
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: September 06, 2015, 03:53:59 PM
Gambling somehow fixed my life when I was depressed before due to a scammer who ripped me out. I decided to gamble my remaining coins to a dice site and fortunately won , multiplied it and got back the amount scammed from me.

If you had failed you will become more depressed but hopefuly you are good Smiley many people are selling their most worth things until people bankrupt

997  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Secure bitcoin wallet ? on: September 06, 2015, 03:41:19 PM
every single bitcoin wallet that is created so far can be secure "to some extent".
for example you can have an online wallet and make it secure enough that you never lose your bitcoins but you always have to consider the risks of using each wallet.
i categorize the risks this way (from high to low):
web wallets
online wallets where you do NOT have your private keys (like xapo, coinbase): highest risk so i keep lowest amount there
online wallets where you have your have your private keys (like blockchain.info)

desktop or cell phone but still online
more security because it is on your pc, but still susceptible to malware and keyloggers
medium to low risk

offline wallet
any sort of wallet which is offline, either a wallet program like bitcoin-core, Electrum, Multibit, Armory that you just run on an ALWAYS offline pc or any sort of paper wallet as long as they are created with the right software.
this is the most secure so i keep the highest amount here.

You forget Hardware Wallet
It's hardware that was made only to keep your bitcoin secure, you can use it online or offline.
It's expensive but could be safer than most offline wallet

Example : Trezor & Ledger Wallet

Ledger wallet seems to be much cheaper than Trezor which one of these two is the best?

Trezor is old one and Ledger still new one but both of them seems promising as most secured wallet.
That's make me kindda difficult to select between them

Is there any difference in performance or in security, except the price which is Trezor 99$ - Ledger 15€(or 29€)

You're only a newbie man and your signature allows limited and short lenght only. Tongue I suggest you rank up your account first before joining any signature campaign Wink

If they want maximum airplay, I suggest they make codes for newbies, we matter too  Huh

Even if the OP allowed signature campaign for newbies you would still not be able to enroll because it's closed for new participants.
999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2015, 03:09:35 PM
I am thinking to learn some skills with the bitcoin system like I already learned a lot of skills like operating systems and web developing skill...and I think if a guy learn it and start their our business with that then that will be a good way to earn

That is the point, but it does not only increase your bitcoin but also out of bitcoin like cash money, and you can be hired in office. And from savings you can buy bitcoin and hold for a long time.
