Just received my set thanks Max! Well worth the wait. The bars are shipped in a clear ziplock bag inside the red velvet pouch with a stand separate.

I'm the original purchaser of the coin, I funded it shortly after receiving it with mined Bitcoin (why I said they are virgin coin). The first 5 coins were graded by the creator before being sold. I must've had the certificate, but if not I would have funded using the first bits. I recently moved across the country so it's possible the certificate is still packed away somewhere. Seems strange that I wouldn't have kept it with the coin if I had it, but anything's possible.
It does have a very cool backstory being funded like that and I don't discredit you being the original owner as I've misplaced some of these COA's myself when they get separated for grading like that. These coins are very nice and I'd venture to say if it was graded back in the day, it could regrade better than MS67 now since the grades have been skewed higher in the past years. That definitely helps the premium since the coin could be a MS68/69+ upon regrading today. Best of luck if you decide to search for the COA and I'll be a bidder for sure if the address is verified! |

JD646 has already provided us with the address that matches the firstbits of the coin, do you have confirmation that the full public key is the one associated with that coin? A COA or official Cryptolator Merlin Gold address list would do.  |

I don't think there's any issue although I would recommend Hiroaki to verify that the terms of their bid are met and they've received the pictures. For the price I would think that to be appropriate.

I'm a little worried upon seeing they are actively deleting bids and hopefully they aren't messing around with people by offering/bidding on mass quantities of items and then selectively choosing who to follow through with. Oh that's very naughty, sometimes using the /auctions section helps. But I very much prefer this section of the forum. I still see a bid of RealHummer @3.5 BTCHe won a few of my other auctions and paid very fast, overall I had a very good impression I recently had a successful trade with RealHummer for a Cas coin. In my experience he is legit. Good to know, the user messaged me a couple weeks ago asking to purchase some items for which they never responded to the quote I provided. In the end it felt more of a "feeler" PM than an actual request for a quote so I thought I wasted some of my time providing the information. I followed up to see where they were at and they reported buying some other goods and having to check what was purchased before coming back to their initial inquiry. I honestly wouldn't have mentioned it if they didn't PM me although it wasn't serious enough to warrant anything further. Hopefully their bid is satisfactory as it looks like they have terms surrounding it, "As I said in my PM email some better pics please." |

Good to know, I fund all my coins. This rationale shouldn't affect the premium however, just the demand for the coin.
It affects the premium for me and creates a much higher barrier to entry for the coin. It's fine to fund your own coins but when you fund (initially unfunded) and then try to sell them online it's a lot trickier especially when you expect the price to be increased by minimum X amount where X is the value of the funding. Unfortunately I can't find the certificate that came with the coin. I'm not really looking to sell right now, just curious of the possible value. If I were to sell, I could contact the maker and ask him if he possibly has a copy of the full address to prove that it's not a vanity address.
That's a bummer, I know some people are comfortable gambling on that amount but without 100% certainty that coin is funded with the stated value I will not be bidding. A good question at this point in time would be: How did you fund it without having the certificate? I'm guessing the funding took place when you initially got it before misplacing the COA? |

The funding will most likely make the premium worth less and the situation a little trickier. I'll be bidding if the price is right when it goes to auction. Why? Probably because it will exclude people who want to buy it unfunded and have less people interested in the piece because anyone can fund it once you have it but you cant unfund the piece once its on. And others like the piece as it was created. I think thats where digi was going with it. Pretty much what wheelz said and I'd like to add this point - you're hoping he didn't generate a vanity address with that prefix for which he controls the keys. Unless the COA/case are provided as well for which the address can be checked against, the public funding address can't be verified to be the exact one on that coin without manufacturer/maker verification. The risk is higher since the coin was initially unfunded by the maker and any responsibility for the funded value sits on the buyer in this case. |

Is it $60 for the set or $60 per coin? If it's $60 a set I'm taking at least one for sure!
It looks to be $60 for all 4 coins based on the product description. I noticed F*D mentioned, "These proofs will each come unfunded." There isn't a way to fund them from what I can see, is that accurate? These do not come with a hologram and there is no way to fund them. I believe this to be preferable to many collectors due to private key security concern issues. Thanks for the clarification, the statement made me think these could somehow be funded although I didn't see a way that was possible. |

Took me a while and interestingly enough, the one referenced in the blog post example is mine.  Example: If you own a Current Signature Series bar and the foam packaging says serial #152, the actual serial is going to be different. Only the above numbers were affected, and there are no duplicate serials in existence… just mismatched sleeves.  I'll be in contact to get it sorted out. |
