Probably not. Everything works perfectly, however.

Price reduced and bump

C:\Miner\cgminer-3.1.1-windows\
no one can help you without seeing the settings you're using.

okay here some settings I'd tried:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o "http://fc.ltcoin.net:6666" -u "username" -p "password" -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 -shaders 2048  - shaders wrong

cgminer.exe" --scrypt -u "username" -p "password" -o "http://fc.ltcoin.net:6666" --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 256 -v 1 -I 20 -g 1 -l 1 -T  --thread-concurrency 15508  - thread concurrency wrong and extra " after .exe

cgminer.exe" --scrypt -u "username" -p "password" -o "http://fc.ltcoin.net:6666" - remove the extra " after .exe - wait, youre not actually using quotation marks for each value are you?

(cg miner with scrypt now crashes - tried 3.1.1 and 3.2.1 but same result)

minerd.exe --algo scrypt --scantime 99 --url http://fc.ltcoin.net:6666 --userpass username:password --threads 99 --retries -1 -P

Tip of my hat to BigBitz. He is doing some very charitable work for the community. He could have easily taken his 16btc and never said a word. That man has a damn fine character. We had become friends on OTC long before this, but he has earned my respect with this good deed. Kudos, BigBitz.

This is probably the most disconcerting thread I have ever stumbled upon... let us know how it all goes.
There used to be a guy here who would pull out his teeth and try to sell them and other things he picked off the ground (used condoms, old cigarette butts, etc) for BTC.

it would help if you pasted your command line here, sans private info.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DGC to BTC-e on: June 10, 2013, 11:25:45 PM
I'm a big supported of DGC, but I voted no. I think BTC-e is a place where mature coins go. DigitalCoin is not a mature coin yet. There are too many big holders right now, and while it is far, far less likely that it will be dumped all to hell like FTC, I still think the coin spread is too concentrated for a big exchange like that.
One thing all of you fail to realize in your posts is that everyone's endgame is BTC. All of these small CCs would be dropped in a heartbeat, if the exchange price is right. There is no longevity in any of these coins.

I don't think thats true but I don't think its DGC.  Many alts hold huge improvements over Bitcoin... well see!
Just to get something straight, there's not a single altcoin out that offers anything better than BTC. The only one that's even in the same ballpark is LTC, and that's due to transaction times and it's ability to be hedged against BTC well.

You see, 'offering huge improvements' over something isnt simply making more of it, or making it faster, or whatever else it is you think adds value. Bitcoin's market, it's community, it's dev team, and it's popularity cannot be touched. Those are the areas you need to prove 'huge improvements' in, otherwise it's just biased well-wishing (again).

What you fail to realize is that BTC isn't the endgame. Right now it may be though.
So you deny that BTC is the endgame in your first sentence, then confirm it is in your second. Kudos.
993  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Best Prices of Gold & Silver for Bitcoins on: June 10, 2013, 09:16:43 PM
Received my order from amagimetals. Ultra fast shipping and everything is perfect. Sure beats waiting 3-6 months using that 'other service' that likes to hold customer's BTC until the market is good enough for them to cash out...

amagimetals is top notch.

Nubbins,

You should use http://btcticker.appspot.com/ for the pricing. Makes it much easier.

Basically you just change the amount on this image url and insert it in the post as an image - http://btcticker.appspot.com/mtgox/100.00usd.png  . It keeps the BTC price 'hedged' against that dollar amount.

I fully support this spike. I would be glad to preorder/invest in/etc to help make this happen.

Hey Goat, give up this idea. Buy the car of this video and youll be king Grin

Can we please get an official statement from friedcat regarding the asicminer developments highlighted in this video?

That's unreal

I'm lost. No idea what kind of car that is, lol. Is it rare/expensive or something?
It's just an old mustang with some sort of really stupid side mirrors.

January was still well before the rush BFL had (that happened in march and onward). They've cleared June and July, and are working on August (2012) in the last 2 weeks or so. It's a very real possibility that pre march orders will all be shipped prior to August.
