9841  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Accusation: Magazine, wants a website, doesn't pay. on: October 11, 2013, 07:58:43 PM
If you play around with the currency and the price it flickers random prices, I would be happy to purchase the finished job if the OP would tidy it up and then we can both remove our negative rep and move on it's 0.4 I am not some scum bag who can't pay it I just want a nice fresh bug free website.
You could have told me that instead of ignoring my pm's, -rep'ing me for no reason and sending me those childish PM's.
Also, I don't have the same problem you are complaining about. If the price updates it flickers three times, that is an effect I added. I can easily remove it.

The prices are correct, though you have a bug where if one edits the value field (  id="output" ), prices will no longer be updated, even if forcing an update by changing the currency. The field should either be not editable at all by the user or if editable, should support a currency->BTC conversion without killing the API call to bitcoinaverage

Be honest, would you pay for something that is buggy.
Acting childish and ignoring me is something different then telling me there is another bug. I would have fixed it, no problem. I already fixed one before, remember:

I also asked you if the website was okay and if you wanted to go the next step. If it wasn't, why didn't you answer me and told me what the problem was?

When I change the value and wait/change the currency it updates for me... I will gladly make a video to prove this.

I spend quite a while on that website and I believe that time = money.

No, you didn't. That site can't have taken more then 2 minutes in Bootstrap. Add 3 minutes for copy & pasting javascript code.
For you maybe, but I never used BootStrap nor used that kind of Javascript. It took me a while to implement it right and use the custom theme. I won't say it took me more then 5/6 hours in total, but it took me some time + a lot of waiting for Magazine to reply, before I could continue working.

Still, he agreed with the price I gave him when I started working on it and that deal should be honored.

There was a hard fork (as far as I know) and the new client isn't ready yet for some reason. You will have to wait for that.

sorry about that, here's my shitty excuse why the client isn't ready yet

"Well you see the proof of shit algorithm is very complex, and requires the entire compilation to occur within 10 feet of a toilet. if no toilet is present, a public urinal may suffice. So that is the problem, i haven't been near a toilet yet. "
That is a perfectly shitty reason Grin
9846  Economy / Scam Accusations / Scam Accusation: Magazine, wants a website, doesn't pay. on: October 11, 2013, 06:53:01 PM
Hello everyone,
I think it's time that I made my first scam accusation, because I have had it.

Magazine wanted a website developer for a project (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=281197.0). I had talked with him before, so I send him a PM and offered my service for a price range between BTC0.2 and BTC0.5. He said the following:

During the website creation process the communication went a bit rusty, no responses even when he was online and I had to wait quite a bit for an answer. But well that can happen right? Anyway everything went well and we talked about the website. He said that it looks great:

When I finished the website, I asked him multiple times if he agrees with how it looks (I fixed a few bugs too click) and if we could go to the next step which was payment and handing over the source files (the finished product can be found here):

Now, after a freaking long time, I finally got a response:

Now he is trying to accuse me of fucking up and even gave me negative reputation with the following message:
Quote
Tried to make me a website, it was very bad and unusable and then tried to make me pay for it and tried to scam me out of 0.4 for the work that wasn't done.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IN WEB DEVELOPMENT.

I spend quite a while on that website and I believe that time = money.
I could have done something useful with my time, but instead I wasted it on this guy.
9847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Faucet, What features do you look for! on: October 11, 2013, 06:22:07 PM
CoinBox.me doesn't have an API. You must use their faucet system.

I made the faucet script myself and I support BlockChain and PeerBet withdrawal. I might add Inputs.IO support, but there are way to many Inputs.IO faucets out there, so I don't know yet. Also I made a Puzzle Faucet so people have to do something before they get their BitCoins (and it's fun to do Grin)

Other then that, I use BitAds for my ads. I get the ad revenue in BitCoins and pump it straight back into my faucet.
9848  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin Earning Method. on: October 11, 2013, 06:12:16 PM
Fake and gay. Like all quick money (or in this case, Bitcoin) making guides. The only one getting money (or Bitcoins in this case) is the one selling it.

you'll earn more the more Bitcoins you start out with
Well, isn't that nice. You need Bitcoins to get this method and even more Bitcoins to get Bitcoins! How wonderful.
I got a review copy. It's not a get rich quick scheme, and it does work (in theory). The claim that it involves "trading in a way you haven't thought of yet" is BS. Personally, I wouldn't buy it.

Hm, I see. Well, I wouldn't have bought it anyway Tongue

"Application cache" tabs and under each one was a different guid (wallet identifier) i had used in the past.
Hey, I didn't knew that they did that. Great tip, thanks!

But I knew that they send an e-mail if you use your alias. That always happened when I used it, so it isn't that new I guess.
9851  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin EU Convention 2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands September 26th~28th) on: October 11, 2013, 02:58:38 PM
I tend to start missing the Netherlands at about the time I head to Schiphol.
What a great event.  Thank you for the videos.
Well, I am glad that you liked The Netherlands. I had a blast with you all. It really was amazing.
9852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Coinbase callback on: October 11, 2013, 01:38:12 PM
Why don't you use the BlockChain's API? Their callback fires every 10 minutes for a week and sends back how many confirms a transaction has. You can stop the callback by displaying "*ok*" on the callback page.
9853  Local / Beurzen / Re: [NIEUWE EXCHANGE] Safello met iDeal integratie, nu slechts 2% fees incl. BTW on: October 11, 2013, 12:54:59 PM

9854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: mcxNOW Windows transaction log app (alpha version) - UPDATE V1.2 on: October 11, 2013, 12:49:21 PM
I think its useful and it's awesome that you made it. Please continue working on it.
The problem here is that most people don't know/use mcxNOW or they don't trade enough to find this useful. Don't let that bring you down my friend.
9855  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can someone confirm my transaction? I'm waiting 48 hours and still 0 confirms on: October 11, 2013, 12:46:54 PM
fattypig, please stop bumping old topics. It is very annoying.
