70k is making everybody afraid. that is my point here.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's Hold Strong, Not Hope for a Drop! on: June 24, 2024, 09:57:44 PM
yea, there is no sell pressure left right now. But Bulls are scared

I got slapped in the face, but I 60k should hold for now. next shorterm bull trend will decide everything

The strongest and most influential players of this market are the whales and institutional investors. You can expect them to manipulate the market to generate a feeling of mistrust and fear among average investors, who will consequently feel tempted to sell their holdings due to potential crashes in crypto market yet.

no one believes in "the big crash" anymore. it is kind of obvious that this time it is the belief in Bitcoin that is eroding.

I bet it's 2 or 3 Indian "call centers" creating most of the content here lol
You sounded like one from a guy who keep posting one liner from Trading discussion board and asking how to get into signature campaign, then tell people that most content here are bizarre when he's the one creating it.

while the last post was playfully provocative, interacting here is indeed bizarre, cause all the posts are semi-robotic.

the fact that they threw this topic into economics>speculation proves my point. this is not about speculation or trading whatsoever. this is real crypto-life
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's Hold Strong, Not Hope for a Drop! on: June 22, 2024, 09:45:24 PM
man...look at these candles that have been forming since I released this topic. lol
we didn't have this low volatility for +4 months.
This really is about faith, no traditional market whale-shit will make this break this severe resistance

I'm having a tough time understanding some recent pronouncements by Bitcoin enthusiasts regarding price.

They say Bitcoin is expensive and want a price drop so they can "DCA" (Dollar-Cost Average) and add to their holdings. But seriously, who hopes for an asset they believe in to fall?

At this price point, especially considering the 2021 bull run, this thinking is risky. You, the evangelists, are Bitcoin's core. If you consider these levels expensive, then who's left to buy?  A break below $60k could be devastating for sentiment, potentially hindering future climbs. Bitcoin has already tested these waters three times.

Instead of waiting for a hypothetical $20k price and a multi-year recovery, why not take advantage of this relatively attractive price today? Let's work together to break through this resistance and show the world that Bitcoin is still the incredible asset capable of impressive new highs!

we as traders want clear trends.
crypto has the advantage that there are still a lot of retail traders in comparison to markets that are dominated by algos run by gigantic financial institutions.

Nah, I gave up already. Posting in this forum is bizarre because 98% of posts are from you guys, and you feel the intentions. I wonder how this is profitable for the announcers since there isn't much interaction from potential clients. It's probably about Google ranking?
It is quite surprising old members ask newbie questions about the forum

things have changed a lot over time. I actually was in a campaign or two several years ago. pretty sure it can be found in my historical data here.

the future of investment that is,

while traditional markets are becoming more and more unpredictable (prices driven by expectation/marketing), cryptos are drawing clear patterns over and over again.
the game is actually flipping over. traditional assets are becoming gambling, crypto is becoming fundamentally backed by historical data.

Can you provide a few historical data to support your thoughts. As crypto is still considered highly unpredictable market than traditional market. It is still hard to predict the price of Bitcoin in 2024 with all the historical data and patterns used.

predicting price is always the wrong starting point anyway. the historical data that support my thought are the well know Bitcoin cycles. we have clear trends that are surfable for the patient people

I think you forgot to mention the volatility in the cryptocurrency market, which for me's the biggest enemy right now compared to other traditional markets.
What I jus really admire in the cryptocurrency market is the accessibility, where you can easily invest, it's more accessible for many.

volatility is just a case of timeframe and position sizing. if your time frames looks crazy, "zoom out". people look at 15min way to much. Bitcoin is daily, or even weekly

ok guys, finally foud a guy that can really explain it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUv27513cfU

you are basically trading unrealistic implied volatility,
and I was actually right because with perfect option prices there is nothing to gain

also, be sure to watch a (not so) funny reality at 15:37 when you don't watch it all.

Well, there have already been numerous companies that chose to promote or market their services on the forum. Many of them have their campaigns running for years, spending thousands of dollars weekly. I don't think they are that crazy to continue spending big if there isn't any profit from it.

The last company I was promoting here was Best Change. Their campaign lasted for more than 4 years, paying at least $2,500 each week. I can't speak exactly as to how significant the impact of the campaign is on their business, but there must be considerable contribution. Otherwise, why would they continue wasting more than $10,000 every month for it?

well, it obviously works for them. I just wondered how lol

I have a hard time believing that you guys would be here 2h a day if it wasn't for the campaign. I mean, there is only so much you can talk about crypto lol.
But I thank you guys for the answers, I don't think my writing style will ever generate merits, so this really is nothing for me.
I think I have some merit left to give, let me see if I can give to everyone
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Explain crypto options to me on: May 27, 2024, 01:48:20 PM

I still don't see the point.

Who specifically will opt for buying options and in what situation?

We can limit risk and leverage without options.

I tried learning about it by going through Bybit's course during COVID-19 lockdowns. Personally, for me it's useless because I'm a mere pleb with a small amount capital for gambling. It would be laughable but shitcoinery with Runes or BRC-20 might be more suitable for a pleb. The Options market is a kind of casino that is reserved for sophisticated whales with a large amount of capital to deploy.

It seems like you can't talk about options without people having binary options in mind. I don't think real options are more of a gamble than any other trade.

There is no magic formula for success in terms of x-hours - x-merits = $100 per week. It is true that there are many people for whom the forum is just a place to work, but that is simply not what the forum should be for. With the attitude "I'm here to earn merits and earn $100 a week" you won't get far - but no one is stopping you from trying Wink

yea, It probably isn't viable at all. Also I hate circle jerking and that is basically what people award.
