284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the worst trading decision you've ever made? on: March 13, 2018, 02:46:31 AM
as a newb I once bagholded and got f_cked. Damn, I remeber very well. Never had so much stress in my life.

What coin were you holding? And was it part of a pump-n-dump scheme? Has it recovered from the point at which you sold it? Sorry for all the questions, just curious  Smiley

It was BTC. I was in a leveraged position. So I got eventualy margin called lol. looking back to this it was well "invested" money for a lesson though.

well i tell you honestly i sold half of my portfolio at 133 NEO to Fiat, so i wont go to the bank to lend me some cash, its more cheaper if i lend it at brokers,...same thing but cheaper. P.

I was writing more generaly. Since you seam to risk 1-4% of trading capital at stoploss, you actualy know what you are doing
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: margin trades explained on: March 05, 2018, 01:48:07 PM
crypto is allready volatil. you shouldn't use margin to trade amounts you couldn't trade without it. it's usefull in order to leave less money on the exchange
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: February 26, 2018, 04:00:25 PM
people forget that at the moment you are looking at a chart, you are making a technical analysis. even if it just to identify a breakout.

what helps me a lot is the acoustical volume meter at https://bitcoinity.org/markets?theme=light. I don't have to watch the graph all the time, since I will hear when action begins.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobnetic.coinguardian&hl=pt is also very usefull in that matter since it can alert you on percent changes
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: February 26, 2018, 02:53:05 PM
problem of many in the Forex market is that they don't learn proper position sizing. with leverages up to 500 (or even 1000) you can "make" the market too volatile. correct risk managment is fundamental.
also you can survive bag holding in the crypto market most of the times (until you you are not). In Forex it will kill you almost every time.
for those looking for forex brokers which are accepting crypto deposits, check out the topic in my signature

lol. it's funny someone saying Forex is risky and than suggesting altcoin trading. crashes are very rare in Forex.
292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading Forex with Bitcoin deposit/withdraw on: February 13, 2018, 01:19:02 AM
well. I guess it's time to go back to Forex. unless you like to short BTC
I think going back to forex would be more like it, because at the prevailing plunge in market values, the not so high market capitalization  of Bitcoin cannot ward off manipulations and extremities in the market. On the other hand, settling for hedging can be a right foot forward until the market normalizes.

the new trend in the comunity is to blame manipulations for the downs lol
Well the market capitalization of Bitcoin is still relative small and believe it or not, that's a leeway for whales and any other high net worth holder to influence the market. We know that the forex market even as it's hugely capitalized, isn't totally free of market manipulations by the central banks of most countries, though these offsets are usually short lived because of the vastness of the forex market.

Bitcoin is pump'n'dump. the whole bubble is the manipulation. not the pop

you can't realy make calculations with the total market cap of all cryptos. most of the alt coin caps is not bought with money but BTCs

We always follow honest cooperation and in each case very carefully examine the transactions that are structurally very similar schemes for "laundering" of bonuses, and therefore suspicious.
If these suspicions are strengthened, we simply return this to the client all his money and cease cooperation with him.

Unfortunately, those who engage in the laundering of bonuses from different brokers, is quite a large international community, and they immediately attack the broker with negative reviews and accusations that it is a kind of blackmail, which we can not be.

But at the same FPA is much more positive feedback. With those clients who trade honestly, we had no problems. The number of customers complained to them over the past half year has increased from 1 million to 1.5 million and continues to grow. And this is the most obvious indicator of your broker.

I see. bonus hunters are anoying
299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NordFX: Trade Bitcoin & More with Leverage 1:1000! on: January 18, 2018, 11:47:04 AM
lots of scam accusations latly on FPA: http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/5142/nordfx-forex-brokers
what is happening?

Usually all reviews from anonymous traders who on request can't provide any screenshots of the trade or even account number. But all these "cool" traders, that all "earned" thousands of dollars in profits. This is "black PR" of the competition.

yea. I see there a 0 court cases opened. just wondered what is happening there.
