The best strategy, it seems, is to buy bitcoins and then unplug the internet for 6 months and wait Smiley

What I want to know that any identity documents I sent to bitfunder and weexchange will be destroyed?
Another question I've been waiting to see answered. Seems to be continually danced around or ignored.
Users need assurance that every personal document is destroyed together with (any) backup copies.
How do you want to make sure they destroyed our documents - this is impossible..

Agree, but at least this would help:
1. Statement that it is destroyed an what method was used
2. Statement that WeEx does not have any other copies than it was destroyed.
3. cosigned statement of 3rd party (witness) that it was done as it was said in 1)

9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WalletExplorer on: December 14, 2013, 09:46:53 PM
Interesting.
It will download all blockchains of all cryptocurrencies or just uses those of the already installed wallets ?

It uses only cryptocurrencies you already have. It does that by communicating over RPC port with coin daemons. Therefore, you should have all cryptocurrencies daemons running for wallets which you want to explore.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only 4 altcoins exist that provide additional value over bitcoin... on: December 14, 2013, 02:58:12 PM
I don't see in any near future that any altcoin will be worth more than BTC, but let's fasten seat belts and see Wink

Reserved.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / WalletExplorer on: December 14, 2013, 12:48:51 PM
Hello, I would like to present you WalletExplorer. It helps me to organize my wallets. Hopefully, it will help you too.

The project helps in exploring transactions, accounts and balances of different cryptocurrencies. In short, you can explore your wallets using web browser. It automatically figures out RPC parameters, so it makes exploring easy. Wallets does not have to be on the same machine, but you need to have proper parameters in $HOME/.<coinname>/<coinname>.conf

Download
https://github.com/kost/walletexplorer

Instructions
You need to have ruby and then you can just say (as user who holds standard RPC parameters for each coin):
Code:
gem install sinatra
ruby walletexplorer.rb

Point your browser to http://127.0.0.1:8081/

If you need it to listen on all interfaces, just change top of the walletexplorer.rb

Development
Development is done on GitHub: https://github.com/kost/walletexplorer
I'm the only developer currently, that means I've tailored it to my taste. But if you want to help, feel free to do it.
If you have any suggestions or comments about the software, just post them here and I'll be happy to discuss it.

How you can help?

If you can produce nice looking CSS or templates.
If you know of any good resource where I can find all coins with their default RPC ports.
If you know how to code, just fork and issue pull request on GitHub.

A couple of questions:

1) What is the total amount of outstanding WeExchange balances? In other words, what percentage of the coins owed is that 386 btc?

For what its reported here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=337523.0 it should be ~30% of total coins. Not bad for now I guess.

It's more out there, but it's not yet updated by lophie...  also, I guess not everyone reported there. :-{}
14  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The 2nd Stage Server Con ( Currently ~$2,000,000 ) 2 MILLION DOLLARS!! on: December 13, 2013, 05:56:39 PM
If the coins are not 'stolen' and people are going to get them back, why is there no transparency about what is going on? It smells really fishy to me.

If there's any good news, they would loudly say it. Since they are quite, I would assume it's bad news Wink

Easy as that.
15  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: labcoin lawsuit on: December 13, 2013, 05:44:22 AM
Yes it's normal not to get a response within 5h after sending the message,

I got response. thanks.
I was just wondering whatever I will get some response or I should not expect any. Not that I expect any immediately. Sorry for that.

Everyone at Neo & Bee are now involved in this resolution process.
Does that include the janitor?

Looks like janitor is the man in charge!

Dobra ekipa, puno zajedničkih interesa, zanimljivih i korisnih tema. Ponovilo se opet, samo u nekom puno bolje ventiliranom prostoru Wink

Šteta. Bilo bi dobro najavit tjedan dan ranije da se ljudi mogu organizirat...
