Danny's involvement began just 2 weeks ago, and never once did he mention any technical problems.

For the record, my stuck BTC withdrawal info:

Date    2013-11-08 16:06:07
Transaction ID    3pSvte280G1UG1ll7Edns0Xi5264Zu1i
Type    Withdraw
Debit    0.50000000 BTC
Credit
Fee    0.00000000 BTC
BTC Transaction
Status    Processing

I also have ~ AUD$120 in my account - and another 0.05 BTC.
Anyone have any idea how I can get the AUD out? Ripple withdrawals are not working, and obviously I don't want to convert to BTC on weex.
It says my bank account is not 'verified' - but there are no instructions how to verify, and even if there was I would be very hesitant to send them any more personal information.
Is my $AUD gone along with my 0.5 BTC??

GREAT!

Quote
(10:39:51) Ukyo: Evolyn_: As Danny said, the bitcoins WeExchange was holding are no longer available. I can not do anything to change that. So I am making up for it.

Oh the frustration..

I hope thats not correct since it would mean that ukyo cant get access to the coins anymore.

But i cant believe that this is possible. I cant possibly imagine that ukyo would be so stupid that something like that could happen. I mean even when the wallet cant work... you have to be able to get the private keys and import it. The coins from the addresses cant vanish.
And ukyo is smart enough to make backups. If he denies that i think its a lie.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I read it as he will earn the bitcoins and pay us back from his private funds.

But i cant imagine that something like that really happens. I mean ukyo isnt a noob. He knows about backups. And bitcoin addresses cant lose bitcoins magically. So its impossible that the private keys and the bitcoins are lost.
Its possible that they cant repair the wallet but even when the wallet isnt working they should be able to get the private keys and import it elsewhere.

take it easy ,I got stuck about 200 BTC (composite by loans and BTCs)  there....Danny said they will processing payout by before 2014.

I don't understand how you haven't contacted authorities at this point and instead are waiting on what what seems like an obvious and pathetic attempt at postponement, evasion and misdirection.  How could you possibly believe Danny after he first said he was stepping in to solve a technical problem but couldn't provide the details and then revealed, after numerous delays, that "the coins simply aren't there".

They've been stolen from you. And the criminal(s) who took them aren't planning on ever giving them back to you, no matter what promises they may make.

They might throw a few coins back at the community, but only because they believe it will confuse people as to the fact that the rest of the coins were in fact stolen.

I think they are laughing at you right now for thinking that Danny will be giving you your coins back in 2013.
You are right ,I am worry of my BTCs everyday ,but I really can't do much about it ,however I am going to give them like one more week ,if by that time still no valuable information been update, then I might consider to go find a lawyer to solved out this mess. and I just got my USA visa this week, so I will decide fly to USA in next week, find out what can I actually do for that . I sincerely hope UKYO can give me back my coins ,as to go through Law procedure will cause me time and effort, but I can't just continue wait for nothing.
And personally I believe UKYO isn't a liar ,at least if he is a liar he would just disappear....so I still hold my faith on him ,despite this faith is losing day by day.

This is my prediction:
Within the next week, you and others will receive a small fraction of the money that has been taken from you.  This will create enough "good will" to quiet the detractors, generate fresh hope and buy more time.
Given a choice between having hope and nothing, 9 out of 10 people chose hope.

1. Why didn't Labcoin just run? The same argument was used there over and over.
2. He left US, or at least he did according to Danny.
3. His identity is well known -- running is the worst option for him.
4. Why run when you don't have to?  Judging by this forum, we have short attention spans and aren't likely to follow through.

Many more...

He left US, or at least he did according to Danny.
Ukyo confirmed that on IRC. One of Danny's coworkers has confirmed it as well.

I think its fair to not only share the half info. He went to cyprus in order to work with NEOBEE to repair the weexchange wallet. At least thats what he claims.

I've been offline for a while.

Can anyone give me a resume of this?

The following has been said recently by the people involved in the issue:
  • The coins are not available for some yet unknown reason.
  • They can't give us more information for legal reasons.
  • They are working on a number of solutions to get everybody their coins back.
  • Danny, the CEO of Nee&Bee (a big Cyprus startup) is helping Ukyo to solve the issue.
  • Ukyo went to Cyprus to work on the solutions with Danny.
  • Some coins that are available will be distributed tomorrow (Friday).
  • They hope to have a very important announcement ready before the Christmas holidays.

Unless you think the weexchange wallet is in Cyprus, or that Cypriots have technology unavailable in US, i find that a bit suspect.
I presented you with a list of possible answers to your question "Why didn't [Ukyo] just run?"  Here it is again:

I made an effort to keep the list terse and factual.  I am not assuming that Ukyo has left US -- only that Danny made a statement to that effect.  You, on the other hand, are assuming that the actors involved are honest & could be taken at their word.  A trusting attitude, at least in the "Scam Accusations" subforum.
